Thank you both sharing such magnificent scenery with your devoted audience. I am an 89 year old Chinese woman with mobility difficulty but love going places. By following your vlogs, you give me incredible joy as if I am tagging along with you everywhere. Your techniques are super and your explanations are precise. I enjoy every moment when viewing your vlogs. I love Clair’s tinkling bell like sound and Chad’s gentle sound. Keep up your wonderful work. May our Heavenly Father grant you Good Heath and Safety always!
Wow we are honored you are choosing to watch our videos! Thanks for spending your time with us. I have never heard Claire's voice described in that way and I must say it is very accurate. We wish you good health, safety, and joy as well! :D
This is the sweetest comment I've ever seen on a video, God bless you Dolores! You are a light in this world 😊

What a lovely young couple and a well done video in gorgeous country. Thank you guys for posting this. Makes we want to go right now.
Probably the best video I've seen on the Dolomites! Thank you for pulling it together and getting it done. Can't wait for the next one!😃👏
Omg ! This vlog is pure perfection, it just doesn’t look real. It’s so majestic, no better place to have yummy chocolate ❤️. All I can say is, THANK YOU ! ! I know I’d never get to go to a place like that, so I’m beyond appreciative of y’all’s travels. Please never stop, the editing has so paid off. All the time you take to make these videos, and plan out all your travels so perfectly. So, thank you again for sharing so much. Soon I hope to manage your patreon in my budget 🙏🙏, stay safe, keep having fun ❤️❤️🌹
Great video! The cinematography is so nice as were the drone clips around Tre Cime. We visited the Dolomites in 2019 and based ourselves in Ortesei. Great little town and close by to many places and lots to see and do. Tre Cime was the highlight and we did the loop all the way around with a stop at DreizinnenHutte for a cold beverage and a bite to eat.
Alpe Di Siusi is another spectacular area for beautiful views and hiking and you have to see Lago Di Braies too!.
It would take more than a lifetime to see all the wonders of the Dolomites. What an amazing and breathtaking place!
It's hard to do, but always take time for yourselves and get your rest.
Will check out your other videos!
Beautiful shots!!
Love the video guys. The drone shot in Seceda is amazing. Can’t wait to visit the Dolomites this year! ❤️🤗
Congratulations 👏🏼 guys! Thanks 🙏🏻 again for this wonderful video. 🎼🥰🥰
Wow! The views are amazing, especially the one with the little church. I would never be able to hike up those trails, definitely for the young, so thank you for sharing. Take care!
It's breathtaking ! The drone shot is a lit
So helpful. Thank you
nicely done!!! Great job.
This place is utterly stunning. Such expanses, such beauty and magnificence. I'm so grateful to see it.
Awesome video! Thanks for the detailed explanations. I'm doing my first solo travel to the Dolomites his next June 2024 and its been helpful! Loved your drone shots! I can't wait to get there with mine!
The Santa Magdalena viewpoint looked like a green screen! So gorgeous!! 💚👀
Congratulations 🏅 I showed this video to a group of people that are filmmakers and they also felt it was world class. The videography the narration the incredible drone shots!! Amazing 💖
Your drone views are the best of all the travel videos on youtube! So good!
UNREAL!!! The Dolomites are one of our favorite places we have ever been and getting to relive some of our favorite spots through your epic shots made us want to go back even more! Also, loved the glimpse into behind the scenes at the end. We can relate so much to the exhaustion that comes into creating and how it can be a bummer when it hits you in a place you've been so excited to visit.
The Dolomites have been on my bucket list for decades! Your photos and drone footage are absolutely amazing! You sure made the most of your days there ending with that delicious looking meal. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Michael! We feel lucky to have been able to visit!
Wow! the views are Majestic … Thank you C&C
Anything for you John!
Great video folks! We’ll be visiting the Dolomites in late September for 4 days. Very much looking forward to our trip! 👍🍻

I have watched every single one of your videos. This may be the best production yet. I can’t even begin to explain what your journey means to me and how in awe I am that you are making this your life and sharing it with us. Take care of yourself and rest well when you need it. ❤️
Appreciate that. You've been a true supporter since the start Lois. Thanks for always cheering us on.
Hello from France
I did 2 weeks of hiking in the Dolomites, I have wonderful memories. It is in these mountains that the first via feratta was created, it was during the First World War, to make pass the Italian troops by the mountain.
Hello!! 2 weeks sounds like a proper amount of time! WW1 history in the dolomites is so fascinating!
Wow!!! You captured these mountains so well!! The footage and narration was so on point!! The UA-camr/traveler life really is nonstop. We just finished a travel year and I’m still trying to figure out how to make the lifestyle more balanced so we can do it again! I miss eating in Italy and Europe in general so much!!!
One of my favorite spots that I have never been to in person. Thanks for taking us along to such a special and beautiful place. I thought the videography and drone footage was spectacular!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Hehehe thanks Hannah! We are proud of how this one came out. Hope you are doing well and that we can see you sometime soon! 😁
Another very enjoyable vlog 👍 That view across Santa Magdalena was something else, it was well worth your effort to get there!
Agreed! It really was a peaceful spot!
Absolutely stunning visuals … thank you for your hard work … I really appreciate your efforts … take care of each other
I had this on our bucket list then took it off, as without a car it all seemed overwhelming but after watching this, I'm highly considering adding it back onto our itinery. Thanks guys
Dolomites are definitely breathtaking
Avid (older) backpacker and hiker. Excellent videos and compentary. Just accepted a position to work in Italy -- in the shadow of the Dolomites! Peace and safe hiking.

Great vid. Visited Dolomites with wife for 6 days in September 2015. Absolutely stunning but missed that first place of Seceda.
Amazing video, thanks for sharing! Which month did you travel in?
Thanks!
Beautiful country.

This is nice !
My wife and I have really been enjoying your videos. Producing such high-quality content is hard work! Take care of yourselves, and build those rest days into your plans. It's a marathon, not a sprint!
We attempt to build in the rest days, but sometimes it is hard to plan for when you will feel tired. Definitely going to take things even slower next time we visit a high altitude place like the dolomites
Great episode! Hope you are feeling better. Be sure to test for Covid, just in case. Love watching your episodes!
Thanks for the tip! Better safe than sorry! We're feeling much better now.
wow! beautiful..
Thanks a lot 😊
We are returning to the Dolomites for the second time in June and absolutely cannot wait! Thank you for this inspiration! There is so much to explore! Can I ask, what kind of hiking shoes are you wearing Claire?
I absolutely love this region of Italy. The Friuli. Veneto. It’s heaven on earth.
Seems like you visited paradise. I love you and your content, so much so that I can patiently wait for the right moment to come. So if you need rest, please, please take it. Knowing that you actually enjoy your trips is what makes it so special. Take care.
Very kind of you to say. We are trying to find the right balance of work and rest, but we truly love what we do. Excited to share our future adventures with you!
Amazing vlog! What time of year did you visit that you needed puffer jackets? 😊
Wow the Dolomites are extremely beautiful. The drone shots were so awesome!
I am a new subscriber. I love this video - great job. We are taking a 60 day trip next year and the Dolomite's will be on the list. Your views are fantastic. What drone do you use?
Brilliant filming, drone footage, still photos (I always watch till the end to enjoy your beautiful photos) and vlogging. You both really do such an amazing job of sharing your travels, and while I am so happy when I see yours pop up, I can certainly wait longer. So take all the time that you need, and enjoy your time away from filming for us. Like your very own motto says ‘Cherish the little things’ 🌻
You're the best! Thanks for truly supporting what we do while still treating us like humans. :D
I CANNOT believe this beautiful scenery
Also I just love y’all’s vlogs - they are so professional 💜
I watched all these drone shots looking like this 😲😲😲😲😲😲😲
@@JourneywithJenandDrew I was making that face while recording with the drone hahaha
@@ChadandClaire 😂❤❤
Undoubtedly among the most beautiful mountains in the world and for example one who has traveled the world as a famous survivalist and TV star as the Englishman Bear Grills has declared to be his favourite… ☺
Greetings from the Italian peninsula (Calabria region)!
Ciao!
Love your video 👍🏼 what month did you guys visited ?
Great video...stunning mountains...ah, by the way..Seceda...you have to walk up there...not only saving money but to appreciate better the trail and landscape as you ascend...
Thank you guys for entertaining vlog, keep them coming.
What time of the year did you go?
Loved this video, thankyou for sharing.
Could you tell me how far and how long one would need to walk out to the jagged sloped area from the cable car please?
I'm planning a trip to the Dolomites and would love to know if we have time to fit this in.
Thankyou to you both
Nice video!! I will be visiting Dolomites this coming June.. Are all the hiking trails easy to hike?
Y'all make better films than Hollywood ever could!!!! Absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!! But, really, who cuts all that grass!!!!!! I noticed that before you even mentioned it! That is just crazy beautiful and scary at all those angles! With all those amazing drone shots, this one made my stomach flip for sure! I'm glad you took a day off and took care of yourselves! You must rest when you are sick! Prayers for good health and continued safe travels!
You're the absolute best Holley! Thanks for always cheering us on and getting so much true joy from what we produce. We are feeling much better now and are excited for the rest of our trip.
Great vlog! Stunning videography. I am traveling there this summer. Would you mind sharing if you had to register your drone and the process?
What a great video! I'm planning to go to Dolomites as well. What month of the year you were traveling there? Wondering about my puffer jacket as well.
We are sorry to hear that you were under the weather during your stay in the Dolomites. This vlog was equally fun to watch. The desert looked sooo good. Have you tried "sfogliatelle" yet? It is a shell like desert just to die for. Cheers and stay safe.
Wow! That dessert look AMAZING. Added it to our must try foods list!
Hi. Thanks for incredible film - we are going there in end of June so - little practical question - do you remember which hour you were permitted to drive to Tre Cime di Lavaredo?
High altitudes can be exhausting! Take it easy and enjoy your travels. Thanks for all of your fabulous videos! By the way, I use Claire's parents' laundromat a few times a year and chat with them about your adventures. 😀
That's so cool! They run a tight ship over at Medlock. Thanks for spending your time on us!
Really nice. Which month did you travel?
Great video. What drone are you flying and did you have any issues while flying there?
the views are incredible. Are we allowed to fly Drones in Dolomites? Thanks!
Hey Chad & Claire, really enjoying your series so far and am just wondering what camera do you use - is it a GoPro? the quality of both video and stills is amazing and also from your drone footage. I am considering a GoPro 10 and this might help me decide.
Do you have any plans to visit the UK, if so where will you be heading for ? Keep up the good work eating your way around the world!
Hey Andrew! We film using a Sony a7iii with a Tamron 17-28mm lens. We only use our GoPro 8 for underwater shots which was not in this video. A full list of gear is on our website. chadandclaire.com/faq/gear
No plans on visiting the UK yet, but we definitely will someday!
Thanks for watching!
we’re doing the Dolomites as well as Rome, Venice, and Tuscany over 21 days, concerned about packing hiking stuff for just our Dolomites leg. any tips on how you managed to pack everything?
nice video! may i ask at what time of year you visited the Dolomites?
Great video! What time did the toll gate open to get to Tre Cime? :)
I actually forgot to check the time, but if I had to guess probably around 2-3pm?
Which camera model did you use? Thank in advance
Hi! Are you allowed to fly the DJI mini in the dolomites? I'm seeing conflicting info online.
There are a shit ton of wineries around Bolzano as well. I feel like it doesn't get featured enough, but they are spectacular.
What month did u go to Dolomites? The weather looks perfect
How wonderful the Dolomites are. I have a question, how much is a rental car where you're at? Would love your feedback.
The rental car from Bolzano was over 100 USD a day. Very expensive and we tried to find cheaper options but it was difficult to located some.
Could I ask what date what season did you go to dolomities? I wanna go to there in June but I worry about that snow has not melted.
Hi, C&C, Surprised to see you guys using 36 hours to travel those different scenic points by car... by the way, what months were you there? And which place you recommend the visitors should stay longer?
