Thank you both sharing such magnificent scenery with your devoted audience. I am an 89 year old Chinese woman with mobility difficulty but love going places. By following your vlogs, you give me incredible joy as if I am tagging along with you everywhere. Your techniques are super and your explanations are precise. I enjoy every moment when viewing your vlogs. I love Clair’s tinkling bell like sound and Chad’s gentle sound. Keep up your wonderful work. May our Heavenly Father grant you Good Heath and Safety always!
Wow we are honored you are choosing to watch our videos! Thanks for spending your time with us. I have never heard Claire's voice described in that way and I must say it is very accurate. We wish you good health, safety, and joy as well! :D
So do I. Although I can not go there because of financial limitations, it felt like I am already there. Smile never left my face while watching this vlog with such clarity of the video, friendly narration and the cinematic-like music.
Hi there! Just recently came across your videos and love your content!!! So good ! I and I’m the beginning stages of planning a trip through the Dolomites for Sept 2025, and I can take about a year to plan it but I’ll be honest , I don’t know where to start, any tips or advice?! 😊
Congratulations 🏅 I showed this video to a group of people that are filmmakers and they also felt it was world class. The videography the narration the incredible drone shots!! Amazing 💖
Wow guys the cinematography in this one was unreal!! National Geographic quality, so impressed with how far you’ve come, glad you didn’t scrap this one! Claire your narration is like poetry, always so lovely to listen to
Omg ! This vlog is pure perfection, it just doesn’t look real. It’s so majestic, no better place to have yummy chocolate ❤️. All I can say is, THANK YOU ! ! I know I’d never get to go to a place like that, so I’m beyond appreciative of y’all’s travels. Please never stop, the editing has so paid off. All the time you take to make these videos, and plan out all your travels so perfectly. So, thank you again for sharing so much. Soon I hope to manage your patreon in my budget 🙏🙏, stay safe, keep having fun ❤️❤️🌹
Hello from France I did 2 weeks of hiking in the Dolomites, I have wonderful memories. It is in these mountains that the first via feratta was created, it was during the First World War, to make pass the Italian troops by the mountain.
I have watched every single one of your videos. This may be the best production yet. I can’t even begin to explain what your journey means to me and how in awe I am that you are making this your life and sharing it with us. Take care of yourself and rest well when you need it. ❤️
UNREAL!!! The Dolomites are one of our favorite places we have ever been and getting to relive some of our favorite spots through your epic shots made us want to go back even more! Also, loved the glimpse into behind the scenes at the end. We can relate so much to the exhaustion that comes into creating and how it can be a bummer when it hits you in a place you've been so excited to visit.
I was watching u on TV, then I open my app on the phone just to comment and tell you both Thank you for sharing ur journeys with us and u both are amazing , I also can tell that you are so kind and sweet
My wife and I have really been enjoying your videos. Producing such high-quality content is hard work! Take care of yourselves, and build those rest days into your plans. It's a marathon, not a sprint!
We attempt to build in the rest days, but sometimes it is hard to plan for when you will feel tired. Definitely going to take things even slower next time we visit a high altitude place like the dolomites
Avid (older) backpacker and hiker. Excellent videos and compentary. Just accepted a position to work in Italy -- in the shadow of the Dolomites! Peace and safe hiking.
Thank u so much for sharing God’s absolutely magnificent creations. Im in awe! Speechless! You guys captured the best sceneries, amazing photos and videos plus the perfect background music. Job well done, cheers 🥂 🥂👏👏
Undoubtedly among the most beautiful mountains in the world and for example one who has traveled the world as a famous survivalist and TV star as the Englishman Bear Grills has declared to be his favourite… ☺ Greetings from the Italian peninsula (Calabria region)! Ciao!
The Dolomites have been on my bucket list for decades! Your photos and drone footage are absolutely amazing! You sure made the most of your days there ending with that delicious looking meal. Thanks for sharing.
Brilliant filming, drone footage, still photos (I always watch till the end to enjoy your beautiful photos) and vlogging. You both really do such an amazing job of sharing your travels, and while I am so happy when I see yours pop up, I can certainly wait longer. So take all the time that you need, and enjoy your time away from filming for us. Like your very own motto says ‘Cherish the little things’ 🌻
One of my favorite spots that I have never been to in person. Thanks for taking us along to such a special and beautiful place. I thought the videography and drone footage was spectacular!
Y'all make better films than Hollywood ever could!!!! Absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!! But, really, who cuts all that grass!!!!!! I noticed that before you even mentioned it! That is just crazy beautiful and scary at all those angles! With all those amazing drone shots, this one made my stomach flip for sure! I'm glad you took a day off and took care of yourselves! You must rest when you are sick! Prayers for good health and continued safe travels!
You're the absolute best Holley! Thanks for always cheering us on and getting so much true joy from what we produce. We are feeling much better now and are excited for the rest of our trip.
I had this on our bucket list then took it off, as without a car it all seemed overwhelming but after watching this, I'm highly considering adding it back onto our itinery. Thanks guys
Wow!!! You captured these mountains so well!! The footage and narration was so on point!! The UA-camr/traveler life really is nonstop. We just finished a travel year and I’m still trying to figure out how to make the lifestyle more balanced so we can do it again! I miss eating in Italy and Europe in general so much!!!
i've been following along on your travels since the van & do wonder how you two keep up the pace sometimes! we totally support you taking care of yourselves before anything else :) also i always marvel at your production quality! those shots with the drone are unreal
Wow long time supporter! Thanks for spending your time on us. We definitely stay very busy, and are trying to find a balance with it all. Thanks for the encouragement! We deeply appreciate it!
Wow! The views are amazing, especially the one with the little church. I would never be able to hike up those trails, definitely for the young, so thank you for sharing. Take care!
Seems like you visited paradise. I love you and your content, so much so that I can patiently wait for the right moment to come. So if you need rest, please, please take it. Knowing that you actually enjoy your trips is what makes it so special. Take care.
Very kind of you to say. We are trying to find the right balance of work and rest, but we truly love what we do. Excited to share our future adventures with you!
Namaskar n thanks to both the way u showed the beautiful scenario along with your mellifluous words n smiles on your countenance which increased the value please b kind enough by showing more love n likes from India n b careful while on hills
Great video! The cinematography is so nice as were the drone clips around Tre Cime. We visited the Dolomites in 2019 and based ourselves in Ortesei. Great little town and close by to many places and lots to see and do. Tre Cime was the highlight and we did the loop all the way around with a stop at DreizinnenHutte for a cold beverage and a bite to eat. Alpe Di Siusi is another spectacular area for beautiful views and hiking and you have to see Lago Di Braies too!. It would take more than a lifetime to see all the wonders of the Dolomites. What an amazing and breathtaking place! It's hard to do, but always take time for yourselves and get your rest. Will check out your other videos!
Awesome video! Thanks for the detailed explanations. I'm doing my first solo travel to the Dolomites his next June 2024 and its been helpful! Loved your drone shots! I can't wait to get there with mine!
Loved your awesome video, I will be there in 6 days, different time of the year, I hope we get some sun, your pictures were brill.did you go back yet? x
I am a new subscriber. I love this video - great job. We are taking a 60 day trip next year and the Dolomite's will be on the list. Your views are fantastic. What drone do you use?
High altitudes can be exhausting! Take it easy and enjoy your travels. Thanks for all of your fabulous videos! By the way, I use Claire's parents' laundromat a few times a year and chat with them about your adventures. 😀
Really made me want to go Dolomites .. thanks for sharing, btw what month u guys visited, was thinking May nxt year not sure 🤔if the cable car is open in seceda
We are returning to the Dolomites for the second time in June and absolutely cannot wait! Thank you for this inspiration! There is so much to explore! Can I ask, what kind of hiking shoes are you wearing Claire?
Great video...stunning mountains...ah, by the way..Seceda...you have to walk up there...not only saving money but to appreciate better the trail and landscape as you ascend...
I was really surprised Claire said she never skied before since it seems like she/you both have done everything else. You guys are both so adventurous. Most people will never do some of the things you both have done in their life time.
Her talking about the GREEN. I totally call it there and north in the Tirol - "green that hurts your eyes." You have not seen such green. I saw most of these places, and for me, 3 days, too. The dramatic, striking views are almost life changing. The word "dolomite' is for the type of rock - a type that allows for VERY steep mountainsides, the way the rock crystals lock into each other.
What a great video! I'm planning to go to Dolomites as well. What month of the year you were traveling there? Wondering about my puffer jacket as well.
Loved this video, thankyou for sharing. Could you tell me how far and how long one would need to walk out to the jagged sloped area from the cable car please? I'm planning a trip to the Dolomites and would love to know if we have time to fit this in. Thankyou to you both

We are sorry to hear that you were under the weather during your stay in the Dolomites. This vlog was equally fun to watch. The desert looked sooo good. Have you tried "sfogliatelle" yet? It is a shell like desert just to die for. Cheers and stay safe.
Nice video, thank you! I am happy to see that it seems there is no problem to fly a drone? Do you know about the drone laws there? Could you share a bit about that topic?
Chad and Claire this last video of the Dolomites of Italy was just spectacular! I absolutely loved everything about the video. The videography, the commentary, the unbelievable views of the Dolomites, and, of course, the beautiful Italian and German food. But I would like to see you pace yourself a bit more. We all know that the finished product represents the many hours of editing, aerial filming, background music, and research. I am wondering if you are going to restock your online shop of the high end items. It seems that all the high end art are sold out.
Hey Chad & Claire, really enjoying your series so far and am just wondering what camera do you use - is it a GoPro? the quality of both video and stills is amazing and also from your drone footage. I am considering a GoPro 10 and this might help me decide. Do you have any plans to visit the UK, if so where will you be heading for ? Keep up the good work eating your way around the world!
Hey Andrew! We film using a Sony a7iii with a Tamron 17-28mm lens. We only use our GoPro 8 for underwater shots which was not in this video. A full list of gear is on our website. chadandclaire.com/faq/gear No plans on visiting the UK yet, but we definitely will someday! Thanks for watching!
Hi, C&C, Surprised to see you guys using 36 hours to travel those different scenic points by car... by the way, what months were you there? And which place you recommend the visitors should stay longer?
we’re doing the Dolomites as well as Rome, Venice, and Tuscany over 21 days, concerned about packing hiking stuff for just our Dolomites leg. any tips on how you managed to pack everything?
Noi Italiani siamo fortunati e non ci accorgiamo quanto lo siamo,è uno dei paesi più belli del mondo, potremmo vivere solo di turismo senza grandi sforzi...

What time of the year did you go?
Very charming video. I felt like i was in dolomites
Beautiful country.
Nice video!! I will be visiting Dolomites this coming June.. Are all the hiking trails easy to hike?
What a great video! I'm planning to go to Dolomites as well. What month of the year you were traveling there? Wondering about my puffer jacket as well.
nicely done!!! Great job.
So helpful. Thank you
Loved this video, thankyou for sharing.
Could you tell me how far and how long one would need to walk out to the jagged sloped area from the cable car please?
I'm planning a trip to the Dolomites and would love to know if we have time to fit this in.
Thankyou to you both
Always have cloth for bad weather in the mountains (or on the sea), because the weather can switch very fast.
I remember leaving in the morning as a kid, following my parents on a random trail. We only had a bottle of water and very few snacks. 10 ours later we were still walking to try to reach civilization before night time. At that time I was ready to be adopted by an Italian family we met, who were better prepared and fed me along the way :D
This is nice !
Hi! Are you allowed to fly the DJI mini in the dolomites? I'm seeing conflicting info online.
We are sorry to hear that you were under the weather during your stay in the Dolomites. This vlog was equally fun to watch. The desert looked sooo good. Have you tried "sfogliatelle" yet? It is a shell like desert just to die for. Cheers and stay safe.
Wow! That dessert look AMAZING. Added it to our must try foods list!
Amazing vlog! What time of year did you visit that you needed puffer jackets? 😊
thank you!!
Nice video, thank you! I am happy to see that it seems there is no problem to fly a drone? Do you know about the drone laws there? Could you share a bit about that topic?
Great vlog! Stunning videography. I am traveling there this summer. Would you mind sharing if you had to register your drone and the process?
There are a shit ton of wineries around Bolzano as well. I feel like it doesn't get featured enough, but they are spectacular.
I am wondering if you are going to restock your online shop of the high end items. It seems that all the high end art are sold out.
We hope to add to the shop when we are home! We'll try to pace ourselves better in the future. Thanks for always being so positive Bodvar! :
I have my eyes on a framed art piece that will look great in my living room as I watch a Chad and Claire global travelogue video!
Great video. What drone are you flying and did you have any issues while flying there?
beautiful.....
wow! beautiful..
Thanks a lot 😊
Thanks!
Hey Chad & Claire, really enjoying your series so far and am just wondering what camera do you use - is it a GoPro? the quality of both video and stills is amazing and also from your drone footage. I am considering a GoPro 10 and this might help me decide.
