    A good place to have a 360 view on the Dolomites, if you have not enough time, is the Lagazuoi Refuge, taking the cableway from the Falzatego Pass. It's almost central in the Dolomites area and from that place you can see all the most famous peaks.
    Perhaps, if you want to visit a part of the Dolomites less touristic, but very wild, you can visit the Dolomiti Friulane along the border between Veneto and Friuli regions. Here you can find the first declared "Wilderness area" in Europe.

      @@TwosomeTravellers problem with July and August is the crowd of tourists you will find there....those two months are the peak of the holidays period for the Italians...there fore I would instead suggest to go on September, when the weather is still good and warm whereas people are back to work and school are back opened so few people around ....and prices are even better getting into a so-called low season. Then if you move further up you will start to see the colours of Autumn and that is a fantastic scenery in the Dolomiti....

    • @tonybennett4159
      @tonybennett4159 Рік тому

      @@ictfc1897 I took three holidays in the Dolomite/South Tyrol region, all in September when the weather was perfect, centering in different valleys (eg the Val Gardena) and then taking all the hikes we could from there. The whole area is stunning, and of course it's a must to circumnavigate the three peaks of Lavaredo. Why go there otherwise?
      Another suggestion for anybody : the Maritime Alps north of Nice. Great hiking and not too busy, plenty of accommodation in little tucked away villages.

      @@TwosomeTravellers Dear friends it was not my intention to complain and critisize your video that it is actually great, well done, emotional and very informative. however unfortunatelly the quantity of youtubers is massive and all of you tend to copy the same route, so it happens that when you are there you meet thousands of people are fighting to park their cars, or standing in a queue like at the supermarket, and even the tourists become disappointed. The mountain is nature, silence, and meditation as well. Dolomites cover a vast area, three different regions many different peaks many different valley, Val Gardena, Val di Sole, Val di Fassa, VAl di Fiemme, Val Pusteria, Val di Funes, Val Fiscalina, Val Sugana and more. Every Valley has a lot of astonishing villages and beatiful towns Cortina, Corvara, Canazei, Moena, Ortisei, Madonna di Campiglio, Dobbiaco, Castelrotto, Brunico, San Martino di Castrozza, San Candido. are just the most popular The risk is some destination are empty, some instead overcrowd, but trust me all the area deserves a visit. I have watched many videos and all of them fly to Venice then stop to Cortina and then Tre cime, Lago di Braies, Lago Sorapis, Seceda. Thanks and sorry yes you are British

    Hello did you had any problem flying drone in Italy?

    • @TwosomeTravellers
      @TwosomeTravellers  2 місяці тому

      We had no problems. As long as you fly responsibly and follow all the local laws and regulations you will be fine. We cannot confirm if use of drones have changed since we visited which is a possibility. But there will be signs upon entry into these places if this is no longer allowed. There were some places where use of drones were prohibited when we visited.

      On the older drones they had a function which could allow it to track us and complete a flight path :)

    The fact that perfectly healthy people actually completely skip the hike, only take the gondola up & then get sad they can’t use their drone at the summit. 😂 God help ussssss
