Keep in mind everyone, as of Fall 2021: average one bedroom apartment in Henderson, NV is now $1500 minimum, homes are about $400,000 on average, and gas and food is still super affordable and less than Cali.

My rents 400.00 all bills paid with all utilities paid also .. my truck payment is 278.00 plus 98.00 a month full coverage ...my land taxes in Missouri near Stockton mo lake dam is only 12 bucks a year for prime farm land. My food is almost nothing since people bring us stuff daily. So yes I live on less than a thousand a month for everything here in Missouri. For two people plus raising my grandson . Just add more water to the soup.

Francia Galapate Hi Francia. We’re not sure what you mean by minimum rate of employee..? Regarding tips on getting a job...Be willing to work. That might mean not finding the “perfect” job at first...You need to have an open mind, hard work ethic, a go getter attitude and a resume that will help you to stand out from the crowd and you’ll find doors and opportunities opening that you never knew existed. Be smart as well. There are a lot of scammers out here. Use your intuition and you’ll do great. Good luck!

While Interning, we lived at Annie Oakley in a 3B2B circa 2004-5 for under $800. furnished. Now a 1B1B in a decent area over $1000. Up to 2014 lived off St. Rose and luv it. If you can live in Henderson/Green Valley is best. 5-10 Minutes to get to the strip.

I'm definitely interested in moving here, but money is so tight right now. Also, living single is hard, so renting an apartment would be my best bet. But I'm also interested in starting up a small business here (I refurbish and restore vintage turntables). Latoya Brinson there numbers are not right The cost of living is way higher if you work in Las Vegas Nevada you’re gonna need some sort of license which cost cashiers drivers healthcare for women here is very poor most people that have anything like cancer diabetes Ect they have to travel to California for help most of the time you have to pay out your pocket They won’t even give Nevadan there unemployment they have to sue to get their money that’s just one of the many things you have to think about and that its not a place to live it’s a place to come have fun take my advice I didn’t even make it a year and a half the schools look like prisons if you have kids teachers unpaid just saying nothing to do but go to the strip dating is bad 850 per hour don’t do it
Faith Jones yikes! We actually just moved here the end of July. So far things are going alright for us. Had to get used to having natural gas in our place. We haven’t done much just yet because my fiancé just started working. Thank you for the heads up. To be honest, we actually have the feeling that we might not make this our permanent residence. Hello, I’ve been using Trulia to look for a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment/ condo with a garage in a safe neighborhood in the area. I am confused by the listings however as the posted rents maybe in my price range but when you read the description it will have a home owner fee ranging from $150 to $650 a month! If this is indeed an additional cost to me the renter, this is incredibly deceptive! What’s that all about?

Logic Fails For sure. Many people rent first. We don’t do rentals ourselves, but we will have agents on our team that can help you by the time you are ready! In the meantime, if you want to keep your eye on the rental market, we can send you rental listings once every couple of weeks if you like, then whenever you are ready you’ll be a smarter renter as you’ll have seen what’s “bang for your buck” for the previous 4-5 months.

If you rent a townhouse in one of the townhome communities that is run by a property management company, do you also pay a HOA fee apart from the base rent each month? Or is it usually included in the rent?
You will generally not pay a separate HOA fee for your rental. Good luck with the move!

My two bedroom apt in LA is $2600. I think i can buy 2 homes in Henderson compared to the ugly small I can get in LA. I'm retiring there for sure.

Unless you make really good money are you own a business it is just like living anywhere else I've been here nine years and prices have gotten so crazy and ridiculous that it's insane and prices keep Rising there are way too many people here there's way too much traffic 90% of the time and getting people from other places as making this place really hard to endure because a lot of people that come to Las Vegas or very rude and disrespectful and I'm patient this is not Las Vegas she used to remember it has really changed the whole bunch so don't let nobody blow smoke up your butt because they're not being honest with you there are some nice places here but you going to have to pay for him and you're going to have to make serious money to be able to do it it is not cheap here anymore

Hi John! All houses have dual pane windows. Ceiling fans are based on individual preferences. Most homes have them, but you don’t need to use them if you don’t like them.

Hey Lola, yes there are quite a few...The Lido, Vintage at Seven Hills, and Portofino Senior apartments. These range from $800-$1200 for a 1 bedroom. Hope that helps!!

I highly recommend charter (college-prep) schools. I have heard terrible things from CCSD schools, regardless of the neighborhoods. I am a Spanish teacher in a charter school in East Las Vegas and families love it

It really depends on what your goal is. We own a rental property in that zip code and it’s a great income producer. It never stays on the market long when it’s vacant and we’ve been very lucky with amazing tenants. There are also some beautiful communities in The Lakes and Peccole Ranch. What is the price of groceries a month how could you leave that out?????
As far as we know people spend different amounts of money on groceries depending on the size of your family. Did you want to know how much a loaf of bread is and 12 eggs?
If you are coming from CA, I think it's about the same. For two people (in my case) about $300-400. We usually shop at Smiths but occasionally have take-out. Hope that helps!

Alright I see that you are talking a lot about cost of living and the surrounding area. You did miss two thing's that are very important to me. First of all I am a Christian so what is the Christian Church situation like. Plus I am going to become a pastor in the Christian Religion so as you can guess finding a good Church group is important to me. Then you mention Health Care that's where number two come's in because I am disabled. That mean's I am also looking for subsidized housing. In the long run I listed a couple of thing's that are important and now I guess I just wait or find another Email address to use.
