I found for me taking out my friends dreads, what worked great for us is the day before use a clarifying shampoo and than use a deep conditioner and leave it in your hair wrapped up in a shower cap all night until the next morning. When the next morning comes get them to rinse out the deep conditioner and apply another type of conditioner(do not rinse the conditioner out) and have them sit in the chair with a towel wrapper around their shoulders use a semi wide tooth comb starting at the ends of their hair and slowly work your way up. If needed spray the hair lightly with water while in between combing the dreads. Less hair falls out and saves the hair from being damaged. Once the dreads are completely out have them wash their hair with the clarifying shampoo again and a deep conditioner and rise out completely and after washing the hair and once it’s towel dried spray the hair with a good leave in conditioner or use a hair mask over night to help heal the hair.
THIS!!!! I just watched the video where he put them in her head and wanted to find how long she kept them cause I KNEW it would take long 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Sometimes you gotta stick with what you know 🤣🤣🤣🤣. “Just get rid of them” that’s right sis 👌🏾
rockinanrollin girl it starts to look like your hair again after the first wash. If you style it (and have wacy natural hair) it will take its shape again. Ive had my dreadlocks over a year and have brushed many of them out and redone them, my hair ended up fine. Of course theres split ends. Of course theres less hair. But whats there isnt dead as can be. Its easy to bring back to life tbh
If y'all want to continue the process of combing out, I've seen the flea/ lice comb work better than the plastic one plus they have metal. Happy belated mothers day, Kandase!
When I combed out my first set. I applied the conditioner straight to my hair and it they cane out a little easier then when I had it in the spray bottle.
I’m brushing my hair out and it’s healthier than before You were kinda rough brushing them out My first few I took out with my hands.. then started using comb but still softly
As I obviously understand since I do and have dreads. Im sayin he shoulda used way more moisturizer to reduce that. When u have em in for a month u dont have to lose that much.
I don't know why she was down for putting them in and taking them out. This is totally destroying her hair. Like you guys mentioned. Conditioner or moisturizer would have helped a lot. But even so, it is absolutely ruining the hair. Not only pulling out more..but the hair that stayed in is totally destroyed. All crinkled and cracked. Idiots.
???? wen u took these out how many days did she hav them in??? in the beginning of the video it has a number wit the year. was that number the amount of days she had them in ??
I had dreadlocks on straight hair during 1 year and I took them off with a lot of oil and patience. She lost so much hair I'm choked he should have put more product he just broke so much hair
You really didn't have to cut them. I could have combed those out with some olive oil in a lil over an hour most black or Mexican woman are really talented in combing out hair maybe a ethnic salon or you could have combed out a few every other day or something till they were all out.
Had these been crocheted in as well ? What method was it the twist n rip ? Or back comb and crochet ? I'm so mad. Took my son for dreds yesterday. 11 hours and his partings are massive. He's only 4!! Looks like a new age traveller
I took my boyfriends dreads out a few months back. You definitely should have saturated her hair in conditioner. It makes the process so much faster and less painful. As to the hair she lost... um that’s not really bad because you loose about a hundred strands of hair hair day.
you should of gave her a couple to start off like I have half 3a/3b hair and the rest dread locks had them in for 13 years now I started at 3 built up to 12 and now im down to my 8 loyal beautiful dreads lol I have an solid cg routine n I usually forget i have them lolll.
I think you should cut it if you really don’t want to go through the long process but if you still want hair in the back then don’t comb it. It’ll take a long time to grow it back to the length of the rest of your hair if you cut it so if it was me I’d comb it out.
end of the vlog #GreatTalks i like iittt ! you guys should do this moree . also i mean with your hair kandase, umm like if you wanna comb them out and keep your hair do iiiit ! but if you wanna cut them do that lol . i think it’ll look cool with the cut under . plus it does grow back lol . and guntherr can you vlog more ? like i know you might be busy and such, but i miss your day to day vlogs ya know ? 🤘🏽🤘🏽 but anywayss , love you guys so much and have a blessed day or night whenever you read thisss 💕🤙🏽
Can't believe she let you do that to her beautiful hair for a video! I think she should shave the bottom, the hair will be so damaged after taking the dreads out.
Your intros are so loud compared to the actual video, can yall turn it down a notch. I have to turn it down for intro then back up to hear the video normally
Hey... A friend of mine had started balding because he was using a bad shampoo. He didn't have a lot of hair nor did he want dreadlocks but he had to cut his hair to let all of his hair grow out evenly again. I wanted to know if you know how to avoid this because I am looking to get dreads and I would be pissed if this happened to me.

“Just get rid of them” that’s right sis 👌🏾
That looks brutal to her hair... I have never had dreads but I think I would use mooooore conditioner and/or baby oil... ???

yeah ideally he should have soaked the entire dreadlock instead of spray it like once.
Coconut oil or something dang
Rockin Lady it’s because she’s not black. dreads are meant for textured hair, not straight hair,
Bruh she’s the definition of a ride or die really thinking about getting a taper bc he doesn’t feel like taking the rest out 😂😂😭😭
I was like « WHY DID YOU NOT USE CONDITI-»
Him: « you should probably condition the hair, we’re gonna do that »
I can barely manage to come out my hair and I dont have dreads. God bless your hair
This was both satisfying and cringing to watch.
Yup
I fw this background music. So soothing.
If y'all want to continue the process of combing out, I've seen the flea/ lice comb work better than the plastic one plus they have metal. Happy belated mothers day, Kandase!
You should’ve used only conditioner and a metal comb
I wish that mines unraveled this freely when I went through this process.
When I combed out my first set. I applied the conditioner straight to my hair and it they cane out a little easier then when I had it in the spray bottle.
She had the coolest set of straight hair dreads I've ever seen
Wait till u see mine
Her hair is hella damaged. All that breakage
Walkinginto2015
it’s normal
She should buzz the dreds and have a fade and get like a heart or some cute design in the buzzed hair
I soaked my boyfriends in warm water with conditioner and then put more conditioner in the dread, it worked way better
Haha when he started playing the playbacks omg I love your channel bro
You scared the crap out of me. I was like noooooooo. You channel is amazing
Well he dont have it no more
I feel like he wants to comb out his dreads
Gage Collings me too
He cant. You cant comb out dreds in black people hair thats why he said cut them off
Priscilla Pinnock you can comb then out. My aunt did it
Oh sorry
He did😂
I love how he says it's just hair y'all
I once combed a loc out & it took 45 minutes lol. I say get an undercut!
I’m brushing my hair out and it’s healthier than before
You were kinda rough brushing them out
My first few I took out with my hands.. then started using comb but still softly
dude she had em for like a week!
I'm trying to remove mine but I'll miss the locs but this time I'm gonna go to the salon thx for the tips😁❤️
Her dreads were cool as hell better than mine😭♥️
Bro I combed my hair out and I had a full head of freeform dreads, it took almost a full 24hrs
I don't believe you
Adrian Dominguez Nah I believe him. It took me nearly an hour to comb out 2 freeform locs.
P Sarko 2hr is way to little it would take like a day or two if u really had freeform
Adrian Dominguez yes mine took like a 3 days I kept quiting
Damain Jones whatever bro u plan on getting more local in the future like maintained ones
bruh do u want her to go bald? U just pulled out so much uneccessarry hair when u coulda easily moisturized it WAY MORE.
Aya Giz it's normal to lose hair when you brush out your dreads. It happens to everyone who brushes theirs out.
Idiots.
Aya Giz all of that hair was dead an broken off!!
I was wondering the same As I do with every dreadlocks coming out video.
???? wen u took these out how many days did she hav them in??? in the beginning of the video it has a number wit the year. was that number the amount of days she had them in ??
An undercut would be super cute on her!
I had dreadlocks on straight hair during 1 year and I took them off with a lot of oil and patience. She lost so much hair I'm choked he should have put more product he just broke so much hair
I took my dreads out with conditioner from the Conor store a needle a and a comb
Isn't it better to use the bottom of the comb to make sure you don't break to much hair or pull out even more??
Yup the time in here too is the same its 33 am in the morning😂😂😂
You really didn't have to cut them. I could have combed those out with some olive oil in a lil over an hour most black or Mexican woman are really talented in combing out hair maybe a ethnic salon or you could have combed out a few every other day or something till they were all out.
Fine as hell... both of y’all!😍😛
he wants to cut off his dreads so bad
Krombop he want waves lol
booo u took them out... they was coming along so good an they looked really good on her
Chase pls comb out one of ur dread and show us all the ways to make it dread up again
Had these been crocheted in as well ? What method was it the twist n rip ? Or back comb and crochet ? I'm so mad. Took my son for dreds yesterday. 11 hours and his partings are massive. He's only 4!! Looks like a new age traveller
You should of saturated condtioner and wide tooth come. That was very damaging the way you did it
You should use raw coconut oil to take them off (don’t really know if it works...just saying)
I thought you were combing out your dreadlocks 😪
Shade if he was he would have said *my*
Plus the thumbnail
He’s always thought of it but he’s scared
Not really scared. More of a thought floating around I’m sure I’ll come to that but no time soon.
Why. You clearly see his girl in the thumbnail with a dread combed out.
The state of her hair!! Would be wiser just to buzz the lot off x
I got a question what is the dif between freeforms and regular ones
I took my boyfriends dreads out a few months back. You definitely should have saturated her hair in conditioner. It makes the process so much faster and less painful. As to the hair she lost... um that’s not really bad because you loose about a hundred strands of hair hair day.
Was that painful combing the dreads out
she should of kept them R.I.P Dreadlocks
Where is part 2
Those dreads looked wack anyways lol
How long did it take to comb out all of her dreads?? Did it thin out that section of the hair?
How long did she have them?
Did that hurt taking them out?
dutcheslolz probably not
Kill Me actually it was painful for me when I did it
the dye wasn’t coming out it’s a dreadlock there’s still undyed hair inside of it lol
Why she only gt half hed of dreds?
Put gel on the tips then comb up
I cant beleive I used to know him before youtube he was from my home town
you should of gave her a couple to start off like I have half 3a/3b hair and the rest dread locks had them in for 13 years now I started at 3 built up to 12 and now im down to my 8 loyal beautiful dreads lol I have an solid cg routine n I usually forget i have them lolll.
I always thought you have to cut them off ups
I think you should cut it if you really don’t want to go through the long process but if you still want hair in the back then don’t comb it. It’ll take a long time to grow it back to the length of the rest of your hair if you cut it so if it was me I’d comb it out.
i didnt use a comb i just worked the dreads loose with my fingers ...
Can i get dreadlocks in like 2-3 months? Btw im white and i have straight hair
Dado Madafaka twist and rip and could get them in a couple hours
Dado Madafaka go ahead. Just because you are a certain race does not mean that you can't have a certain hair style
Dado Madafaka No One race owns a hair style
Where you get the comb at?
How do you section the dreadlocks?
What if I just want a couple dreads? Haha I'm kinda scared to go full board
Septerra do it girl! Pet dreads are way cute 😀
No why
Braziiiil!!!
#GREATFAM!!! 200k on the way!!!

Tenho muita vontade de fazer dreads, mas tenho medo de estragar meu cabelo

Can't believe she let you do that to her beautiful hair for a video! I think she should shave the bottom, the hair will be so damaged after taking the dreads out.
Where's your wife from originally? She's so pretty
Your intros are so loud compared to the actual video, can yall turn it down a notch. I have to turn it down for intro then back up to hear the video normally

Avery Modica what kind of shampoo?
It’s kind of common sense to saturate all the dreads in conditioner and water and then comb and not comb them dry.....
Comb the rest of Candice dreadlocks, don’t cut it
Good
Chase don't cut your dreads it looks super cool ps your my hero
Wow I love them nice work
#greatfam🔥
But u should put on of her Dread in ur dread
Snip snip
Nice
Vlogs please
She only had them for a month
Comb them out! Dont cut it!
Comb them out.
This video is killing me....who taught u to comb hair. She gonna be bald by the time u done. CRINGING!!!
Usually it’s dead hair that’s sheds and had no where else to go
you guys should have never brushed her dreads out while wet with water but should have used conditioner instead. lots of breakage for no reason. yikes
Get the female undercut!
She looks like Tiffy Quake
Dude you need to use way more conditioner or some sort of oil because this is destroying her hair way more than it needs to.
Do it just do it slowly
Ay hey guys
Comb them out
She’s ride or die! That’s straight breakage not dead hair 😬
Kandas should get a tapered under cut #greatfam #theeatmonsbiggestfan
