Excellent instruction. Most people film as if they take it for granted that you're a mechanic and as such you know what they're saying. Flash goes into the useful details that the others don't . Thanks for explaining things in there simplest terms for those of us that require just a bit more information. I now feel 100% confident that I can do the task at hand and it's not going to be nearly as hard as I thought it would. Keep doing what your doing Flash. Awesome doesn't begin to describe what you're doing brother.

There are hundreds of people that have shaved several hundred dollars by watching this great video. I was about to pry off type 1 he demonstrated. Instead it was a push button type. I bet Kia only sells the entire fuel line....you break the clip your done. Thank you for the video.
Fantatstic video. I'm changing out my fuel pump today. Loved the way you explained each connector. You speak the language of most of us backyard mechanics. Not overly technical. Guaranteed, even those that didn't like the video got something useful out of it!!!!. Keep up the good work, you're a blessing to us all.

Awesome explanation video. There’s so many types of electrical and line connectors it can be really frustrating trying to disconnect something in a place where you really can’t see it clearly. Then you start squeezing and prying away n stuff not knowing what you have to do to get it loose😅
Thanks. My 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GT only has two of the three connector types that you covered here (it has three connectors total, but two of them are the same). Your video introduced me to three different types, so now I feel confident that I'll be able to get them disconnected properly without breaking anything. Subscribed!
I haven't found a big auto mechanic UA-camr on this subject. Good job my man it helped me out a lot keep up content like this and the subscribers will come flowing
Through explanation , very necessary info for dropping tank - ie vent & return lines , some of the (3) to pump require disconnection tools - have metal type clips attached to the nylon tips = 5/16 middle & 3/8 outers ; harbor frieght actually sells nice aluminum tools for a fair price on that model of attachments , great presentation
Your video helped save me $164.oo I thought My lines were ruined but as it turned out I had the evaporation & return line switched (despite me color tape coding so I would get it right ) Your video showed in detail each unique connection. This led me to closer examine my connections. I discovered the error because return line had the "squeeze blocks" this was incorrect. made the correct connections and Viola' PROBLEM SOLVED Thank you!

EXCELLENT job on this video! Rarely do we get to see something so ideally explained and demonstrated with this degree of expertise. Thank you. I was dumb enough to have left my 2000 Chevy Impala for almost two years with the gas still in it, so everything got "gunked up." (Well, the car shop SAID the fuel pump, fuel relay, and fuel filter were all bad, and so had to be replaced at a cost of over $800. But that's how these shops work, if they don't know precisely what the problem is, "no problem!" They just swap it ALL out and of course charge us for the "service." Frankly, I don't see why they can't simply be CLEANED, but they don't and won't do that "of course." That's sad.) EDIT I forgot to add, why in the HECK does that pump need THREE DIFFERENT hose connections? Weird, ain't it? Did they have three different engineers design one hose connection each without talking to each other? (When I was in the field I repaired what were called "Mainframe computer systems." And in fact, back then, we DID have different eng's designing one product and parts mounts. You could literally have to use a dozen different tools, such as different sized screws, TORX screw bits, Phillips screw bits, wrenches, so on. Taking it apart, while tedious, wasn't too bad. Reassembling it though often was a nightmare; you never knew "what screw went where" kinda thing. We don't do that today because, well, that's just bad mech engineering. (But then now, on consumer laptops, good ol' Apple thought it was a good idea to make it a difficult as possible to even OPEN a laptop. But that's another "story..." Thanks again.

This is an awesome demonstration! I did exactly what he said you shouldn’t do and broke my fittings off trying to repair a broken ground wire on the pressure sensor a $255 screw up. Then I found out the new fuel pump came with (Delphi) a new pressure sensor and I ordered a new pigtail for the pressure sensor connector. The Oring between the fuel pump and tank was too fat so I found a skinny one same diameter and installed it because otherwise I could not compress the oring enought to get the snap ring back in. Tomorrow I’ll tackle getting the broken plastic pieces out of the connectors. I would like to install some extension pieces onto the fuel pump lines but I am not sure I can figure out the best way to splice them. If anyone has an easy method to do this I’d really appreciate the link to a you tube video and thanks in advance! If I can get those broken pieces out of the quick connects I’ll give all the credit to this video! Thanks a million for sharing your skills and knowledge!

Impala, Some Pontiacs, and some of the Buick century models will follow the same procedure. Always take note of your specific make, brand, and model. The perk of his vehicle is that you do not have to drop the gas tank.

I'm mechanically savvy, but I did meet someone ( a former landlord/English teacher by day) who attempted to swap a burnt incadescent light bulb with a hammer. Couldn't grasp the concept of screw threads. Real story
Flashback502 yes you helped. If it wasn't for watching your video I for sure would have damaged the fuel lines. You do a very good job of explaining things so people like me that don't know much about cars can understand. I am very grateful. If I could I'd buy you a beer. Are you a mechanic or did you just learn this stuff on your own? Anyways thanks a million. To show my gratitude I will subscribe
Flashback502 I have a 2004 chevy impala and have been having problems with the security system. Sometimes the car wont start if the security light is on. Our car clicker remote quit working and the problems seemed to have started then. But idk if it's that. Do you have any advice? I will b watching more of your vids cuz I want to learn more about cars. What all types of cars do you do vids on? Are they all your own or some that you are working on for others. Just curious thanks

Mr. UFO Truth Thanks for subscription, learned on my own over the years, helped me save money and time. Thanks again.
Mr. UFO Truth i had the same problem b4 in s car I pulled the fuse for the alarm and solved the problem, i Work on many different cars and trucks for family and friends.
I want to give you AAA for this, i don't know why stupid peoples dislike this perfect instructional video. Thank you so much from Cuba.
