    Even when this channel is sort abanded, it was very practical for me.
    I had review many Tutorials on UA-cam, and at last I found the right one. Short, concise, to the point, and useful.
    Exactly what the people that are looking for this kind of content, want to know. Not many other things.
    I thank you so much.

    The limiter is a digital limiter, do not use. The audio is clipped before it hits the limiter circuit so it's useless. This why you use the Dual Record option. Especially if you using the Auto Level function, the limiter is not needed.

    • @professorz11

    • @professorz11
      @professorz11  11 місяців тому

      When you are recording, the screen will be black with the record circle and the clock will be counting up. If the card isn't in, it won't let you record. You can either connect the recorder using a USB cable to your computer or take the MicroSD card out and connect using a card reader to your computer.

    The pre-echo you get with when using one of these units on each person you are conducting a two person
    interview is a complete NIGHTMARE when you try to sync them up in post production, trying to eliminate
    the echo will drive you nuts, in fact it's IMPOSSIBLE to fix. You will only be able to use the audio from one
    person. Go out and try it and see what I mean. I tried it on two people seated about 5 - 6 feet away from each
    other and it was a mess when I put the audio tracks together in post.

    • @professorz11
      @professorz11  3 роки тому

      I have never had this problem. I also have several students that use these on a regular basis and have never reported this problem. Sometimes you get an echo when the program doesn't sync the audio exactly. I would try to zoom in on your audio waveforms to make sure they match up exactly. If they are off by even one frame, they can create an echo effect.

      @@professorz11 the fact that they don't have a record button and we need to slide that stupid sh left and right is a big disappointment - i will send it back . you simply can't press record or stop recording, you slide that stupid thing left and right and don't know when it records or not.

    Does the headphone out work while recording on the tascam dr-10l? I want to record and send a signal to a wireless system at the same time.
    Thanks!

    • @professorz11
      @professorz11  3 роки тому

      I honestly have never used the headphone jack since it is not practical in my applications. I am always setting it somewhere away from where I am, and then trusting that it works. I honestly don't know why you would want to use a dual system like that since the recorder and the wireless system are doing the same thing.

    So each time you cut camera you have to go and cut the recorder

    • @professorz11
      @professorz11  3 роки тому +1

      You don't have to. That's a workflow choice. You can keep the audio recording and just match up the parts in post. You are going to have to synch them based on Waveforms in post no matter what, so the recording lengths don't need to match up.
