Every GT7 update is like Christmas.
Are you serious? We get 3 cars and maybe some track layouts, you think that's worth waiting a month for? This game is starved for content and they're drip feeding us. Every update should be at least 10 cars, a new track and some track layouts and that's BARE MINIMUM.
I dunno man I think these "live service" business models are a scam and need to go.
Love that you're making content for a variety of sims from the hardcore to the more "casual" ones like Gran Turismo. Your channel is a great spot for people just starting out because your enthusiasm showcases just how fun this hobby can be, no matter what platform or game you're starting out with.

@@ppicci It is great that Grand Turismo is for everybody. From people that don’t have previous racing games experience to us more experienced players. In this way, GT is very well done compromise. If you start and after some time, you want to step up your driving skills, you don’t have to switch to different game, you just turn off some assists in GT.
I really hope that new Forza Motorsport will manage that as well.
@@ppicci I mean when you compare it to lets say, ACC, iRacing, Automobilista, Raceroom etc then GT7 is indeed a more casual option.
GT is no "casual" game. Need for Speed, Burnout and Mario Cart are "casual" games. I'd say GT is more like a Lamborghini; It's superior to the average car, but not quite the level of a Formula 1
@@mrJoelVFX Mass audience = casual. Thats how i see it. Yes its more realistic than NFS and it has decent physics simulation, but still can be played with a controller by anyone.
Games like ACC and the ones i mentioned are the ones that aren’t casual, because they are played by hardcore sim racers and 99% of them use racing wheel and proper setup.
Im saying this as a massive GT fan. Both NFS and GT are casual but in a different way, just like Call of Duty and Battlefield (CoD arcadey and battlefield more realistic, but both casual)
I remember reading road tests about the Cayman GT4 when it came out irl, and they sound pretty similar to what you said in the video. Very well balanced in general, with a decent amount of understeer at the limit. Main complaints were said understeer and the tall gearing possibly hurting acceleration. The engine seems pretty torquey but maybe there’s more in it with shorter gears
I think an MP4/4 lap round the green hell in GT7 would be really interesting to watch

Gran Turismo 6 had a whopping amount of over 1,000 cars on release date. Only difference is that GT7 cars are built photo realistically from the ground up. Hoping that they release over 500 cars these upcoming updates

1,000 cars sure with the overwhelming majority of that heft coming from car models ripped from GT4, standard cars suck and have no reason to exist
No Sir. You have been asleep - there have been a few a road/dirt track. GT2 had Smokey Mountain (GT3 had North And South). In GT3 you also had Tahiti I and II and in GT4 you had Cathedral Rocks. Cannot remember where they were but there was Grindelwald and of course Pikes Peaks made a couple of appearances. There may well be others I have forgotten.
Now they just need to add qualifying to the races 🙄

I wish they had increased the collector level beyond 50 - got there in a week or so and I cannot be alone in this.
Also anyone else notice that the weather map ceases to work after lap 8 or around the 42 minute mark - just when you need it most at the Hour Of Spa - Full Wets, Inters or Dry? - it's a bit of a gamble.
Definitely need a lvl increase to 100 been at 50 for over 2 months
They patched the rain screen in the spa 1hr race

I would buy it, but an 8 hour grind to recover the cost, i´ve to time to grind that much atm lol, probably when it return to the legends dealer will be F1 price for sure.

I have just ordered this game. I've played them all. The online seasonal races GT5 are sorely missed. Some of the races were easy while a few could be challenging. Make the game for everyone not just people who like the multiplayer action.

Gt5 or gt6 had the mountain rally track with dirt and road brilliant track should bring it back with all the rally cars we have in gt7
tires burn way faster now and dont even talk about the damage changes, someone sneezes on your car and the bumper falls off
Yeah... i was shocked at my daily Sardegna grind in my Mazda LM55 VGT (Gr.1). I had to pit at Round 9 + need to give the car more weight cause of the PP Change.
Anyway... they should reduce the tire burn (not like before), but it's way tooo strong. The new Damage is "sry" absolute Bullsh*t!
you can check again gr3 mr cars as this patch fixed physics for them

From what I remember it had a Ford engine which is American but that’s about it from my knowledge.

that 'flicking back' thingy is so annoying while playing with a controller, it does it even for tiny powerslides and it's frustrating
Ermz, do you know if anyone has consolidated a list of patreons or fb groups that have mods for assetto corsa? There was a site I used that went down. I still have race room, but a lot of the high quality mods are patreon and idk how to find them.

@@D4rK86 in every race? Bc for now I only raced 700pp LM and the tires usage are up to 10x. I don't remember how much was back the update
@@uncavallo2580 they don't change the tire usage x10 (cause it's like before 1.20 Update) but they burn like nothing (actually tested at Sardegna and Tokyo Expressway).

New Forza Motorsport is very close, which will be up there graphically. Hopefuly the sim racing aspect will be up there as well.
@@willyraypaul6617 its still no gt, they dont have the means for these licenses for like 300 cars. With gt i dont expect a full sim like ac or acc, just a fun simcade with top graphics and cool cars. Thats what GT and FM are to me, they will never replace the likes of AC, ACC, rf2, iRacing etc., nor do they mean to.
Will never happen, its a playstation exclusive. Just by a second hand ps4/5

Works good on a controller even on ps4. I play steering and controller. Dont always have time to setup the rig.😉

Looking for a wheel for the ps4 at the moment. Only issue with the logictech g29 is how small the wheel rim is for me. I want that real feel wheel but can't afford something fancy like the Fanatec

I would love to play the game, but I am not going to buy a PS5 to do it. It might be a good game that I play alot but doesnt justify buying that console.

Does anyone know if you can reduce the sun specular? The flashing glares off of cars and wet surfaces are obtrusive and look gimmicky in my opinion. Everything else, graphics wise, in this game looks amazing.
Those glares blind you in real life so no they shouldn’t be reduced.

Theyre losing my support. F1 car is an ok addition. They need to give us the new lmh lmdh gtp classes coming. Those cars are beautiful and engineering marvels. Case in point the Peugeot 9X8. We have enough street cars.

Big Mistake GT7 ? As you burn rubber in a perfectly tuned Porsche, the motor purring around the corners you suddenly hear Clah-Lunck! Cah-Lunk! Cah-Lunk! 4:27 what is that....don't tell me that is the gear shifts! Lets try another car 6:47 oh yea sadly the same. Now for standard tv speakers probably fine, but for us that have a min. of an 5.1 HiFi sound system this is a big deal. Hearing a Cah-Lunk with heavy base through the subwoofer is so over powering, it takes over all sounds & if u like long races, you will hear that sound a thousand times. PC2 has this same issue. Why can't we adjust this? Why is shifting sound fx tied to all or many of the other sounds? Why would a paddle shift even make this sound..? Add this to Little things that can kill a good/great game. This can be a very easy fix (update) please
Becouse in a real life race car its also that loud.
@@The.world.has.gone.crazy... not true. Firstly paddle shift barely makes a sound, use any racing wheel controller with shifters. 2nd its annoying.
They've completely fucked up the physics. Hards last one lap, you get damage by touching the curbes and you oversteer to death.😅

Tracks, take quite some time to model as well as cars. Just play some other racing games in the mean time, maybe Asseto Corsa (stay away from project cars its ass)

This update ruined the game. All of your hard work has been screwed up and playing on the controller is a joke. The cars simply won't turn now.
Won’t turn? Mine are turning too much. They won’t stop spinning out! Pretty bad when a gr1/2 won’t go straight cause it wants to go around!
@@HotRod7762 They must have made some very big changes to the tuning. I really wish they would be more specific in what they changed.
I also fpund that ln controller I went fron -1 sensitivity to +4 which helped alot.
I also noticed this new update is kinder to softer tunes than harder ones.

The heat model on the tyres is ridiculous I’m doing burnouts in 3rd gear no smoke nothing .. and how can they change physics 3 times? I was used to the old one that’s what I paid for! Nobody said we were going to get changed physics every update. It’s a complete joke I tuned all my cars all ruined
