I haven’t used box perm in forever, but I did realize after going to a professional that you are only supposed to put the product on the new growth, not all of your hair. Vaseline on the scalp helps keep it from burning too much. The price keeps going up at the salon so I’m considering box perms again.

Whenever I permed my hair,my hair didn’t move AT ALL it was so stiff how did yours move like that

How often should you relax your hair between relaxers?
It depends on yur hair type but for me I wait 6 months between relaxers just because I don’t want my hair to break

Michaelia Kitnurse no not at all that’s the reason why I also start in the middle of my hair cuz my edges are more sensitive .
Some tips .. don’t scratch hair a day or two before relaxing
Don’t Wash for at least a week (I think ) may be a couple days before relaxing
Start from mid length to ends of hair do ur roots and edges last so the relaxer isn’t sitting on your roots n edges too long .
After you added the activator to the mix did you also add the oil booster to the mix as well or your regular hair?
Yh I mixed it with activator

It’s common sense but ok u have to wash the product out about 4 times

It depends on your hair type but it should be perfectly safe. I would only do the new growth though and not the whole head, you dont want to over process your hair.
