- What's it like to fly United Polaris on a Transcontinental flight? Join me as I review the 767-300ER in Polaris from New York to Los Angeles. Overall, a very pleasant flight with United. I love their cozy Polaris seat. Although, I could've done with thicker bedding. The breakfast was good, not great, but the pre-landing snack plate was the real star. United has since changed all JFK flights from a 767 to a 757-200 which will not have these Polaris seats. So, if you would like to experience this cabin on a Transcontinental flight, you would have to fly from Newark.

How freaking cool was that runway view!!! Flying 787-10 from EWR-LAX in a week! Can’t wait to get in the sky
Wonderful! Hubby and I a traveling from Chicago to London in two days in Polaris seats. I'm beyond excited! Great review!
Not surprised you couldn’t sleep well after eating that breakfast……the sugar content was off the scale.
How is the window placement in this seat (11a). Did you have to lean forward to see out the window?
Is it a reupload? I think I watched this before is maybe just deja Vu.
lol this man addicted to united flights
Probably because he gets the frequent flyer points
I remember when UA had a lot of service to/from JFK. Including LAX, SFO, NRT, LHR, EZE those are what I can remember. The LAX and SFO flights used terminal 6 for period.
Each airline has its own definition of "First Class" and "Business Class", and US domestic service generally has fewer amenities than many foreign airlines. Some domestic flights would call this First Class because of its seating and that it served real food.
I would like to know what that flight cost.
sweet memories with 767-300 e.r. Martinair AMS-Cuba v.v. in their 'Star Class'. More premium class comparing with United I think but separate check in, lounges,: champagne as a welcome drink, toiletbag, nice catering etc. and 18 or 24 seats in the front. Flew with MP think 50 times until the airline disappeared due to swoallowing by klm..(and no flies anymore, have to take AF, Iberia etc)...Shit klm
Question - why are there so many reviews of business first or first class when the majority of passengers fly economy or economy plus?
Because it’s fun for people to see what the business/first class experience is like if they can’t fly it themselves and already know what economy is like.
@@theplatinumtakeoff6215 It's called marketing for 1st. class
a plastic cup in business/first/Polaris? tacky.
It feels like the inside of a 777, just narrower!
As dated and minimal as it is I still miss T7. The pre covid days when it was jam packed with QF, BA, IB, UA and CX just to name a few…
I wish united still operated to JFK.
What’s the point of a video w/o sound!
I love the High-J 767. The 1-1-1 Polaris is cozy and comfortable. Flew it from IAD to LAX and SFO in December, IAH in January and ORD in February. Sadly, I think UA has brought back the 777 from IAD to California. The 767 Polaris on domestic routes is so much better than domestic first class.
Would be interesting if you graded a UA flt from EWR to HNL in Y class.
How awesome to have someone filming your take off!
It all looks like a great experience on the United B767. I would just work on their breakfast presentation..
That runway view was sick. I appreciated the raw footage overall, no music and no VoiceOver was a nice change
Did You Heard About the News, United Airlines is Ending JFK Airport in October 29.
Big Island, Maui or Kauai
Really like your reviews. Well edited and well captioned.
Thanks you very much! Love these types of comments.
Ugh. Plastic cups + plastic-wrapped croissant … in business first where prices are 2-5x more than economy.
Maybe it was Continental Airlines
Nice. That’s my seat for my flight to Geneva next month.
Is that duct tape on the cowling?
I really love the Polaris lounge and product. Only had the opportunity to fly with them once, I just wish the service was better on my flight
I love United, just flew on them to Paris
I love coming in from the east to Vancouver Canada
Loved the previous generation of J seats on United 767-400. Just something about the seat and the service and the food all worked perfectly. Or maybe it was the fact that I'm on a 9hr domestic flight from IAD-HNL. Either way look forward to trying the new pod, but based on what I've experiencd with other airlines not sure it's better - just more plastic without any more pax comfort to speak of.
Other airlines? Most other full service airlines outside of the U.S. don’t serve first class meals and drinks in plastic cutlery… Airlines like LH and AC usually serve drinks in real glassware along with full 3-4 course meal on separate plates on mid to long haul flights.
Hey Mate.. just a quick question.. I will be flying Business class EWR to Zurich soon.. United Polaris Boeing 767-300...The only seats available are 1L and 15A, 15L, 17A, 17L.. since i do not have any options left, what would you recommended the seat I pick? would 1L be better for privacy with window or too close to bathroom.?? or the 15 or 17 A would be better? Much appreciated!!
I would go with 15A or L, it's a window seat next to the window. Rows 1 and 17 could be too close to the bathroom.
first!
Is the earth flat?

That simultaneous take off perspective was amazing! It’s shameful that US domestic airlines can serve this as a meal in what they consider their premium product.
United's cramped isolation cells.
That food looks terrible.
Every time I see one of you “airlines experts” with your cameras I cringe in agony😡
why?
Some people like planes just like people who enjoy cars. He's not hurting anyone. lol
I am starting a channel for peeps like you. It's called Chair and Food. You might enjoy it - stay tuned.
