- Join me as I fly from New York to Los Angeles on the brand new 767-400 in Delta One. The 767-400 is an old aircraft, but Delta has done a great job of maintaining it and updated the in-cabin product every couple of years. The entire plane felt really fresh with the addition of mood lighting. All of the seats were given a complete overhaul, and I honestly would've thought that the plane was brand new had I not known any better. Enjoy!

You are lucky you got anything to eat so just appreciate what you did get.
Nice! I flew N828MH also JFK-LAX back in 2019 and was surprised to see the brand new Delta One cabin. Thanks for showing it from the seat experience itself!
I think 828MH was one of the first to get the new interior. Thanks for watching!
I am always glad to hear of a wide-body jet used on any flight within the continental US. If there were more of them I think I would fly more.
Yea it’s great. There are a lot right now. Just do some research and you will find plenty.
@@NewYorkAviation Good to know. I enjoy watching the videos on UA-cam.... I miss the days of 747s and 767s to Orlando, Dallas, L.A., etc. I have to wonder also if there would be fewer air rage incidents if larger, less cramped planes were used and passengers weren't so uncomfortable.

Awesome trip report. The Delta One cabin looks very nice.
Another great video crystal clear it's like I'm sitting there beside you keep up the good work ☺️🤗
I love these comments. Thanks so much, I'm glad you enjoyed!
The sound of the GE CF6 spooling up 👌and the catering onboard looks good 👍
Yea. They had brought meals back two days prior
Great vid. I can see the the difference between the 777 and 767. Delta runs some pretty old aircraft but their interior is nicely appointed. My flight to Hawaii this year was on a 757 but it was a really nice interior.
Will be taking this route next week, thank you for filming this
Thanks for watching. Safe travels!
Awesome report man, the legacy US carriers all have pretty nice business classes but I would definitely say judging by this Delta One and United Polaris are both right up there with each other.
I personally think Delta is the best. But, United is really making a run for the number 1 spot with these new interior plans. I'm excited to see how the next 5 years play out with these two.

Awesome trip report! I'm looking forward to flying Delta One soon. Hopefully it's as good as this was.
great cabin; in the past (between 1995-2010) I travelled a lot AMS-HAV-AMS with Martinair in their 'Star Class' (BC), always in the 767 ER! enjoyed it, but this new Delta cabin is much better.
Lovely report. Excited to fly this route in October in Delta One!
Thanks for watching. Enjoy your trip!
Perfect day to fly
Happy birthday to you 767-400 twenty two 22 years old!!
Sorry but nothing beats JetBlue mint. Well besides being a bus🤷♂️
thanks for the vid
Very nice video!
Thanks for watching!!
I can't even begin to fathom the design mentality of making the seat so narrow and a super cramped access to the isle. For me, paying premium is all about space and comfort. I like a wide seat, I like some elbow room and I like to know that the food coming will be delicious. Take note carriers, this "just enough" mentality is not good enough.
Nice spool up sound
Would you spend money for Delta One?
It looked alright but its always super expensive
Definitely.
For their Airbus 350-900 or 330neo-900, yes. I'll be flying Tokyo Haneda to EWR(via Atlanta) in Delta One on the flagship 350. I love that plane and typically fly Premium Select. I want to compare to my experience in UA Polaris. Was a 25 plus year United person until I changed to Delta in 2018. Overall customer service is better, especially, the ex-Northwest crew.
I just nabbed delta one LAX to JFK for $550
Delta always top
Just flew the 767-400 for the second time in the last few months in Delta One. It's awesome! I got to fly on the 767-300 from JFK to SEA a few days ago, and it doesn't touch the newer Delta One. It was the old cabin style and wasn't near as comfortable as the 400.
Any idea if they have plans to refurbish the 767-300's?
Wow looks like first class. Would love to fly this configuration transatlantic.
It's an amazing product. They have these planes going all over Europe.
Great Video! I'm taking my first flight in this class in about a month to Vegas and it looks to be a great ride. One question, how was the quality of the headphones? I never liked the earbuds they usually hand out and am curious if these are good with sound and helping with noise so I may not bring mine if they are good. Thanks for doing such a wonderful vid.
Thanks for watching, I appreciate the kind words. They were really great, I brought my own noise canceling headphones for the flight back (in economy), but I felt like the Delta ones are better. Enjoy your flight to Vegas!
Just like a 747 delta
Feels exactly like a 747
Hi there. I am a Korean.
Wow! Is it possible to compsed of that configuration in 767?
I wonder when is made of that airplane? About 30 years ago? I guess.
so do you do alot of same day flying? I noticed you said you came back later that day in the same flight number. I was wondering because I want to do this too. I dont care to much for vacation, I just want to fly just to fly.
finally a decent meal on that route! i flew last march and it was just a nasty junk food box and i literally starved!
Yea, they had just brought them back when I flew
Wow, that breakfast was carb overload. Everything carb loaded except the sausage. Nice video though.
Did you taxi west of the Tom Bradley terminal? (Long taxi from landing to gate)
Yea we had to circle for a bit. Took about 45 minutes.
When you land on the south runways at LAX you must taxi west of Bradley if your terminal is on the north side. I don’t know why ATC does this, invariably they seem to land United on the north runways whose terminal is on the south side. DOH
Add 30 mins if your at the last gate down 2 sets of escalators at the end of T4...
WoW a bottle water as a pre departure drink ... at least they haven't served him with a lunch box for breakfast like I've seen it in another video.... I mean these people paid for premium services and what they got is drinks in plastic cups ... I was thinking flying delta on the same route ... thank you but no thank you , I'm glad I checked
Not sure where you got that delta has 3 764s, but they have a whole lot more than 3
meant to say all but three. Yes DL definitely has more than 3 764s :)
Did your meal come wrapped in plastic or was it served without it?
It had plastic
If only the Delta 764 permanently flew LAX-JFK
I wish
They must have heard us, because they announced that they will fly it permanently!
Great vid but Business Class on Delta doesn’t seem too impressive.
Thanks for watching
was looking at the food-it can be sayd good only for person, who is flying US carriers. Many normal international carriers have nowadays same quality food and booz in Y class. everything served on one tray in C??? no welcome champagne? no free flow champagne/wine during the whole flihgt? it is rather miserable experience, I must say.
The hard product looks very beautiful. Soft product? A big let down (to be expected). That meal looks like something that European and Asian carriers usually serve in standard economy… Goes to show the abysmal level that the big 3 US carriers have gone to lower their inflight service standards.
