Alright, a good handful of you have been asking for it, and I was still trying to figure out how to approach it, so here it is, this is a spreadsheet of some of the mods I use and featuring some of the modders that created the things I use, enjoy!

The main thing that makes XIV so enjoyable is the fact that you can use all the jobs in the game without making a new character

And if you want to play some other race/gender? Donate! Or make a new character and suffer once more.
@@player554 Unless they haven't beat ARR yet, they can choose to suffer for 50 levels and then change race/gender. Only then are you required to slut yourself out for Yoshi-P's delectable fantasia.
Game suqs it died out reason why asmongold hasn't logged in two years and it only got any hype because a wow streamer played it for two months lmao such a shyt game all it did is make all the ff14 players migrate over to world of Warcraft and make wow even more popular even a 20 year old version of world of Warcraft classic has more players then this cat simulator

he said AST can "Swap between heals and shields" and mentioned damage mitigation on cards.. I think he's using like really old balance information for this video. AST kind of has 2 spells that can provide shields but they used to have the ability to actually swap between regen/shield specs and no longer do since 2021 (endwalker balance changes), and the cards have been only damage for like 5 years
You got really cool videos. I'm glad I found this channel. Real talk about the game itself; I had some experience with Motion Capture and gotta say they've created quite a stylish fight and movement choreography. Something that isn't so obvious for a MMORPG. Considering how important to the story it was in the franchise, they really did it justice this time. PS. You almost saw me as Leon in those new Resident Evil Remakes 🙂

Such an awesome video, man! 🤩 I've rewatched it a few times now and the level of detail you've put into your editing is just amazing. Things like the sound panning on the dancing roach as he goes from the right to the left, the motions on your character being timed with the dialogue, how you've mixed the music together, all adds up, that and the voice echo or volume clipping will always get me too 🤣
I'd love to see where you take this series with other games as well, was stoked to see your Warframe video do awesome, and even if I don't play the game you choose to cover, your creations are so entertaining it easily makes it a must watch 🤩

Not only that but htere is actually a UK and EU version of the square enix account too with the websides being indistinguishable, while you not being able to log in on the wrong website with the wrong account.
It really a pain in the ass to find that out. Truly one of the hardest Extremes in the game's history.

I'm gonna try to start playing again today. I started a long hiatus when the servers got too busy after that Asmongold guy started playing a couple years ago.

Haven't really touched this game since they changed Summoner for the umpteenth time. Very slowly mosy my way through the content and feel like I have to relearn my class everytime I play the game (I realize that these changes are spread out across expansions... thats how slowly I've taken it).
Not a huge fan of them taking my pet/dot class and getting rid of the pets and dots just to add a really bad rotation. At this point I might as well play a Black Mage, but don't really have the energy to put up with leveling from square one or having the rug pulled out from under me again.
Don't get me wrong, its a fantastic game, I just really disgree with the changes they've made and will probably continue to make to my favorite class.

I have taken a break since the first patch of endwalker and this video definitely making me wanna resub. Very funny stuff though. I played pretty much only summoner and your humorous description fit well.
Ngl i was hoping to see you go into short descriptions of all the crafting and gathering jobs.
Cater to every player is a stretch my guy, people who want short games won't fit here.
Besides, ff14 is a compromise (in the bad way) unless you have 2000 hours to spare, you are not getting anywhere.
Even maxing a job cost around 90-120 hours depending on queue luck, bonuses and optimization.
Is more of a "caters to those that want a time sinker".
This is true and understandable, but I will say it caters to the players that are looking for a "Modern MMORPG"

I started playing it but I died in an active event that required a higher level and no one went to heal me so I got stuck watching my environment alone for long time and ever played it again!!!
But the minutes that I had played it was fun and I liked the combat mechanics!!!!
I am now playing FF9 which I hadn’t the chance to play years ago and I’m having a blast with that masterpiece!!!!
They will give you an option to teleport back to your home point when that happens. Pick up the game again!

FFXIV was nearly the (unintentional) WoW killer. bc Blizzard was fuckin WoW up somethin fierce, and with the Endwalker expansion having come out for FFXIV, people were absolutely flocking to it.

But i think one thing is wrong, its about astrologian. They can´t switch between being a Shield and a Regen Healer anymore. They are pure Regen Healer now. No Shields... maybe a small shield here and there, but its not their main aspect.

i was going to get the game on steam, but i made the seemingly smart idea to make an account beforehand (spoiler alert: this was a stupid idea)
so my friend (who i enlisted the help of because i heard it was hell to download) and i go to set up the game, and it's telling me that i cant use the account and we eventually find out that it's because i didn't make an account through steam.
so then my friend sends me a link to download the free trial. we find out when i STILL can't log in that it was actually the full version
so then i get a link to the free trial, successfully sign in and start the download (my friend cheers)
so yeah. worst purchase experience of my life.

Another note about buying the game, there's not only a PC/Steam version but also a Mac version. But with a launcher you can make the PC/Steam version run on the Mac. But you didn't hear that from me.

Yeah I couldn’t think of a more accurate depiction of what it’s like to play this game. Or at least that’s my view after a year and leveling almost every job to 90. I’m a proud Dark Knight main and this was an amazing video.
Only thing I disagree with in this video is the explanation of healers, healers are not caring mothers, they are sadistic, uncaring, tyrants with god complexes because they hold the entire partys balls in their hands, and they will not hesitate to squeeze- a traumatized tank main
