- It was about time I made a video talking about Final Fantasy XIV's most challenging pieces of content, and that is Ultimate Raiding. See, in FFXIV, there are rankings to difficulties in fights, Extreme, Savage, and finally Ultimate. In this video, I will be showcasing my experience throughout The Weapon's Refrain Ultimate (UWU for short) and The Unending Coils of Bahamut Ultimate (UCOB for short). Keep in mind that this is not a guide, but simply a video sharing my perspective, experience, and overall opinion about these fights. Some day I will take on The Epic of Alexander Ultimate (TEA for short), and perhaps make a video about the Ultimate that almost every person loves! I need to quit my job in order to prog anything. And still employed i can't exacly find static, liek ye i can but to agree with 7 random ppl to do anything at one time of a week is impossible for me. Not just ultimates but savages as well, if not for that fact id be long since legend myself or trying to become one.

Glad you spoke up Savage needing rework. Like no shame to those who like it but I rather do an ultimate than savage criterion. Criterion is rough but can be rewarding, but when your content is harder than current ultimates without giving the joy of doing one, just feels empty imo.
I do definitely love Criterion as a piece of content, but it's not that rewarding in the end of it all, unfortunately.

I forgot to ask on your first video about you modding but what shaders do you use, they look really nice
Oh I really appreciate that! The shaders I used are personally made, just for gameplay reasons, but the more cinematic shots were color-graded in editing

Though I have to ask: How in the world did you get those cinematic shots? Ultimates are not recordable with the in-game recorder, are they? And you surely didn't play while doing a camera flight. So how? Please.

I got UWU cleared last week.
It was pretty fun, definitely the most satisfying way to kill that boss.
Hope I can spare the time to get UCOB/TEA done too but we'll see.

Both fights are truly great experiences and despite the jank of UCOB, it’s still one of the best fights in the game. Once I get a couple more clears on it myself, I’ll be moving to TEA to (hopefully) have it done before DT. I wish the best of luck to all ultimate raiders!

In Uwu’s defence, the untelegraphed tank busters without even a cast bar are quite nasty, particularly in titan. It was a very unique experience having tankbusters be non trivial for once.
They do add a lot of spice to the fight
