This is a wonderful recipe and such a sweet treat you created for your daughter. ♥️ i have always loved your content. Thank you.
Aw your daughter is so pretty! This will definitely be on my list of things to can soon. Thanks for sharing!
I just did a grocery pickup to make more Christmas jam and the chocolate raspberry sauce and now I need to go back and get more pears after seeing this recipe! Thank you so much for taking the time to share these videos with us!
I love your videos!! They always inspire me to try something new. Just when I think I'm done canning for awhile and can put my canning supplies away, I see one of your video I can't resist. Yep, Carol Made Me Do It!! 😂
This turned out amazing!! Mine is darker than yours but I did use a variety of pears, including a couple red ones so maybe that's why. I ended up with 4 half pints and about 1/4 cup to enjoy right away. I do have to say that this is beyond a messy adventure. It was splashing everyone during the last cooking. I ended up with a hotpad on my stirring hand. It did take quite awhile to get to 225. I just got done cleaning up the sticky mess. Would I make it again - absolutely. This stuff is so delicious!!
Thanks for the inspiration!!
What a special dedication to your daughter, she is beautiful!! Thanks for coming back. Life is full of trials but God won't give you more than you can handle. Keep your head held high and keep canning - it's good for the soul! ❤
Made it….delicious.
Hi there, from up here in BC, Canada. What a wonderful video. Love, Love, LOVED this one!! Your daughter is beautiful, just like her Mama! Have a great evening.
Looks wonderful
So good to see you! I will definitely be making this recipe! Thank you for sharing❤️
I’m anxious to know if she loved this too and how similar it was to her matcha latte.
I love it Carol. The inspiration for this as well as the timing is perfect!
Sure looks good. I wonder if to shorten the process to use a jar of applesauce and make an apple caramel syrup.
Would it be ok to substitute canned pears?
I would think so since you’re turning them into a puree
Hi Carol. So nice to see your lovely face. Would it be ok to double or triple the recipe to get 8 or 12 jars?
Yes you can!
What is vanilla caviar? Is it the inside of the pod? I've never heard that term before so I'm curious. Your daughter is lovely.
Yes, it is! And thank you 😊
How does this become caramel nothing in it makes caramel it is just vanilla an pear
The part where she makes the caramel then adds the pear to it. That first part....is making the caramel
Literally, cooked sugar and water make caramel. Before you criticize, you might want to make sure you’re not wrong.
