@ I use the organic non gmo vanilla extract from my health food store. I haven’t tried that but you could use the vanilla bean and make your own extract.
Tried it without the vanilla (don't have any) and it's something I'll have to get used to lol. (I mainly just do dairy free milk and sugar) Gonna do coconut milk and dairy free milk next time :)
When my current bottle of Creamer is empty, I'm gonna try this by making it in the empty container (reusing). Those containers just pour so nicely versus a jar
That's far from sugar free lol Just the milk alone will have 12g of sugar per cup. Now evaporate it and have a concentrated version of it, and you get upwards of 25g per 100ml. You can use milk alternatives and add thickeners like guar gum, but there's a bit of work to it. I wish it were as simple as just replacing with sugar free syrups :(

We are trying it right now and aren't so thrilled with it when comparing it to the creamer we usually purchase. So, I added sugar to my coffee and at least I can drink it now. I made ours with a combination of 6 ounces of heavy cream and 8 ounces of whole milk, the can of Eagle Brand condensed milk, and the vanilla.
What I do is I buy evaporated milk. I pour in pint size mason jar, sweeten with powdered sugar and then add different extracts to make different flavors. I get the evaporated milk from Aldi for .66 so it is a very cheap thing to make.

This recipe is very bomb! I don’t have a Mason jar YET, but I used a coffee tumbler. The sweetened condensed milk was sweet (i liked that!) I also used heavy whipping cream with a touch of milk and it’s the greatest creamer I’ve ever had!!!!! Thank you Natascha 🙏
Great idea get organic control your ingredients- I stopped store creamers a long time ago after reading about what’s n them…then while at Gastroenterologist he says be careful of creamers they cause polyps in your uterine area or colon!!
My mother used to make Her own with; coconut milk, evaporated milk Brown sugar. And add the taste (& cinnamon-cloves nutmeg…. And shake it. And depends the taste for that day I like add vanilla, mint etc or any other herb or flavor Delicious and nutritious!!!!. Enjoy Mom’s recipe Ops. I forgot also if you want she cooks on low temperature. Let them cold off and last for one month like that 😋.

I thought it needed a little more of the sweet milk because I'm an espresso lover. Also added some cinnamon. I don't have a health issue limiting my sugar intake. However, the sweet milk is very high in sugar. It's 29 grams for the entire can. I'm sure diluting probably it cuts the sugar down. I enjoyed the taste and the easy recipe. The reason I don’t by coffee creamer is because of the sugar, and the sugar free options are absolutely toxic. The sweetened condensed milk is a hard no for me. I do eat small amounts of sugar from time to time, but the amount that goes into coffee is more than our daily recommended allowance altogether, so starting my day by jacking my insulin is not optimal for me personally… I actually love to use lakanto drinking chocolate in my coffee, with my organic collagen powder and a splash of cream or almond milk. Healthy and delicious!!

This morning I had a cup of coffee with unsweetened creamer made with oat milk (cinnamon swirl flavor). It' works great if you're trying to limit sugar intake but still want creamer in your coffee.
Used milk whole milk or skim milk or powder milk just caramel syrup or French vanilla or hazelnut syrup or strawberry syrup or maple syrup and brown with raw honey and cinnamon powder and sugar.
Yeah I know the feeling that's why I stopped making my own. I used to make it with heavy cream, whip it myself with Jordan's skinny syrup. But the dairy and me just don't get along anymore ( * )😑
I am a coffee drinker. One thing I have is pre-diabetes I got diagnosed at eight. My pediatrician himself he diagnosed me. I need to eat to reverse my diabetes so I have to make it with sugar-free and ingredients so I just buy it premade. I buy coffee, sugar-free cream and hazelnut flavor and I drink my coffee iced in the winter drink it hot I drink it cold because it’s spring right now but in just a few months, my cousins technically get out for summer break during spring. It’s still spring when they get out they get out they get out in May and it’s my birthday in 13 days and my mom’s birthday was actually yesterday. Our birthdays are both in April. Hers is April 16 and April 30 is my birthday.

What about using whole vanilla beans scraping out the inside or do you maybe need to heat the vanilla at all or maybe mash it a little?

I would think you could make it the same way but use some sort of concentrated hazelnut flavoring instead of vanilla extract.
