This one has to be my favorite among your current Daytona collection. It wears wonderful on your wrist - the rubber strap gives it the right snug look it needs to perfectly fit your wrist. My personal favorite modern daytona would be the while gold silver (or black) dial, also call the ghost dial. Stunning pieces! Congratulations and happy holidays！

I will think of this as my Christmas gift! I like the gold rim around the bezel, but I've never really owned the ceramic bezel without the rim. I actually prefer this ceramic bezel over the gold bezel of my two-tone Daytona. It looks much more clean. The slim bezel and hour markers make it look more classic, too. So this could potentially take over from the TT Daytona. But I still love wearing the full yellow gold 116508. The case and bracelet blend in seamlessly.

@kjlim3170 Depends on which Daytona. If you are waiting on the white dial SS Daytona, don't depend on it. I've been waiting on the the black dial SS Daytona for 4 years. It will never come, but you have some great pieces, and you should enjoy them! (But I still recommend stay with the AD, and not the grey dealers)
I am from Singapore and both SS Daytona are extremely hard to come by. I am on “waiting list” for a two tone model after some other purchases. Hopefully I will receive a call from the AD soon😅

No justification. Nobody NEEDS these watches. But in my mind, I explain to myself… each Daytona has a different dial, different bracelet, and is made up of different material. Some gold, some steel. They each look different to me, and make me feel different when putting them on. it’s a luxury product. But that said, I will probably end up with only two Daytona in the long run.
Man i love that watch. I was just experimenting with the oyster flex last week at my ad. More of a bracelet guy myself but was very impressed with it. Think I’m going to pull the trigger on the “pikachu” for my 35th bday next December. It will be my first precious metal piece

Nah. Unofficially, at one AD. But they "don't keep" an official list anymore. I don't even bother myself with asking anymore, since there is no way I will get allocated a steel Daytona.

Hey SC, I know how annoying that is first hand to not have the OF bracelet fit and to have to wait on another strap! I have a 7.5 inch wrist so it “fit” me, but too snug! I had to swap out the 12:00 side with a “G” size strap and then it was perfect! My advice to you is whenever you go in to get yours sized, just see if you can get away with swapping the 6:00 side only - IF they used that tool they have to measure what sizes you “need” it sort of gives a bit of an OFF reading to what is actually correct so just be aware of that! Especially if you prefer a snug fit
He's going to try to move the 6 o'clock to the 12. He used some kind of cylindrical measuring tool to estimate my size based on my other Rolex, then ordered 2 more straps.

The sundust on rose is beautiful. Can you advise please how it feels in regards to heft and weight? Does it feel heavier than the two tone, does it feel too top heavy, unbalanced? I have considered the oysterflex but worried it would be too light.
Good question. The oysterflex is 160g, the two-tone is 149g, and the full yellow gold is 192g. None of them actually feel top heavy because the oysterflex gives good support
So far I received Black Submariner, Batman, 2 datejust, two tone Daytona with black face/ diamond, Oysterflex Daytona ghost and another Oysterflex Daytona Pikachu. Should I even try to add Stainless Steel Daytona on my wishlist or it’s a lost cause?
Don't bother putting it on your wishlist. Even your purchase history would not qualify for a stainless. I'm only allowed 3 slots on the wishlist. Reserve those for what is reasonable to get. Just drop some hints that you like the Stainless steel Daytona. Keep it informal. They know you and will keep you in mind. It is solely up to their discretion whether they gift it to you. If you have a good rapport, you may get lucky.
I think this is one of the nicest Daytona OF, together with the WG version (same dial configuration). Congratulations! Once you make the move into haute horology, Rolex stops being that attractive. Nice to see if you have significantly trimmed down Rolex and moved into Patek. I have been on the same path but with AP, iso Patek. Haven’t bought a Rolex for almost 2 years and kept only SS BLRO and 116610LV.
