I miss the days of buying a carhart and 15 years later its still stiff. That is quality! This jacket however is better than any I’ve own since the early 90’s. This one fits like a USGI M65! Worth every dime spent!
You get what you pay for. This jacket is worth every penny.
Every guy at the jobsite was wearing double shirts with long sleeves and layered 2 jackets and were still cold while I only wore this Carhartt jacket and was comfortable all day.
I'm definitely sticking with quality jackets only.
Enjoyed old Carhartt coats I enjoy the newer ones even more I have the ripstop fullswing and the parka ....they are both amazingly comfortable and adorned with some of the best features...
This is great for those running days in cod weather
Would I have to go a bigger size if I want to wear it over my non insulated coveralls?
Is this FR version regular relaxed or loose fit??
What about the full swing quick duck traditional jacket?
Hi John. You are correct. They do make a Full Swing Quick Duck Traditional Jacket. Unfortunately they don't have one in FR and we review all their Fire Retardant (FR) gear on our channel. I'd love for them to come out with one because it would be the best of both worlds.
How stiff or soft is this outer shell?
