I have sat on it, it is enormously high. I met him in Helsingborg Sweden. And I'm quite tall but just reached down with my toes. I have a Tenere myself and I can put both feet down.
Superb looking bike, I also have a World Raid which is so capable off road and have done quite a few mods but not all the ones that have been done on this bike! Enjoy
@@JohannesDalen haha I moved here because there’s no taxes on vehicles and SFRO customisation. And my love for bikes and me not being a millionaire makes it impossible to live in Denmark with 180% taxes on motorcycles 😂
So nice! Can you tell me where he got the camouflage wrap from please? Also, did the swinging arms stickers come with the wrap, or separate. Thanks for the video 🙏. Greetings from Portugal, World Raid rider.
Have you decided on one? Couldn't go wrong with either, the Camel is a tank, the AXP is slightly lighter and no sound. Thanks, my mom knits these for me and loves reading comments about the sweaters :D
@@JohannesDalen Awesome on the sweater looks brill! An not yet :) gonna order one of the two in the morning it's a tricky one as you say both got pros and cons, I think when we get the 2nd t7 I'll buy the opposite of whatever we choose this time round an compare :)
@@JohannesDalen ended up ordering the Camel e4 Guard :) Cory sent me some pictures in the wildest rock field I'd seen on the T7 forum certainly product testing. Could have gone either way even when I was on the phone ordering as they both seem like good solutions.
Amazing, looking bike love the mods I pick up my world raid in one weeks time can’t wait what decals have you used to get the camouflage perfect? Has it been wrapped? I was looking at the Thor bash plate but yours looks perfect 🤘🤘
Nice work as always Johannes. That is one impressive T7. Nonetheless, the placement of the coolant outlets, like on all T7’s, scares the hell out of me!
Thanks Kym 😊 Yeah, I’ve protected the water pump housing with a sweet aluminium part from Altrider, but the aluminium hoses going up to the radiator are still very vulnerable. Many change them out for rubber hoses, which I intend to do some day. Red of course, for added HP.
Wow that has some $$$ spent. Amazing machine with nothing spared... except weight. Nice to see a Prototype Team Rally brother :) and the CARPE ITER pad 😅
It's a sweet machine for sure! If the motorcycle gods want it that way, you will see this very bike at Skog. Huge waiting list, but hopefully he can get a ticket somehow 🙂
Does your friend Ingvar has a youtube channel? I would love to see how that bike behaves in dirt and if he has the mods videos, I would love them too !
Very good looking T7 and a lot of very good performance parts too. What’s the cost of all these mods? Because I think one can easily expend almost half the price of the bike into transforming an adventure bike into an enduro one. It’s worth?
Happy to hear that Mario, thanks a lot for chiming in. Just to clarify, I've never heard anything bad either, I would just be cautious with plastic on a bike this heavy.
Beautiful bike Johannes!I am still dreaming to progress to a ,,normal,,blue T 7 in a few years.Summer is coming in your neck of the woods😊Do you intend to go to Portugal later this year?
Oh I would love to Robert, we don’t have anything planned just yet, but I always in talks with Diogo about future plans. Perhaps a new tour after this summer? 😊
There will be lighting upgrades, in the tower he is about to put on there’s a very bright main light. Will also save som weight as the stock headlight unit is very heavy.
Your mom makes some nice sweaters! Does your friend feel he can ride his t7wr without radiator guard? Mine is already getting a lot of dents at only 4000km
Oh that's a very good question, after I shot this video we actually talked about the 890 adv r. I have a "secret" crush on that bike, there's something about it and its high performance that draws me towards it. I can't answer for Ingvar, but he loves the T7 more than anything. Prior to this he owned the standard version. One of the guys that are riding the Baltics with us in the summer rides a sweet 890r, I'm sure they'll change bikes and I'll try to remember to ask Ingvar of his opinion :)
I agree Nelio, it looks much more serious. On my first T7 I had a high front fender, but both bike and I got completely drenched in mud and dirt from the road. If you look closely you can see that on this WR he kept half of the low fender on, which will deal with that dirt. Smart!
Petter, Ingvar says this is the oem high fender kit from Yamaha. High fender and cut low fender comes in the package. I thought Ingvar did this himself.
This wholesale rebuilding of a new bike to make it adequate is ridiculous. It is a fault, if not an outright scam by the manufacturer, to not build the bike the customer wants. But, really they will only refine a bike to the point where the buyer will decide to purchase it. So, if the bike we want has to be purchased piecemeal online it's because we settle for less at the dealership!!!
I see that adventure bikes are for wealthy people, 😂😂😂 us poor people will have t stick with 25 year old dual sports. 😂😂😂 I think the money spent on that T7 would be enough for me to travel for 6 months. 😳😳😳
I moved this World Raid around for a few pictures and I'm amazed at how much lighter/less top heavy the WR feels compared to the regular T7.
It would be nice an aftermarket dual side tank!
How does it feel compared to the Tuareg 660?
I have sat on it, it is enormously high. I met him in Helsingborg Sweden. And I'm quite tall but just reached down with my toes. I have a Tenere myself and I can put both feet down.
That is the coolest looking T7 I've seen.
Right? It's awesome!
Agreed, one Sweet T7!
Superb looking bike, I also have a World Raid which is so capable off road and have done quite a few mods but not all the ones that have been done on this bike! Enjoy
Waiting for this channel to explode! Greetings from a Dane stuck in Sweden 😁
Thanks for the support Oliver!
Stuck, how? 😆

Damn! Beautiful workshop too 🤘
Amazing the difference these types of tanks make. There's a reason boxer engines are popular. Beautiful build.
I just commented about that in the video I released an hour ago - the WR feels much lighter than my standard T7, even when it's 20 kg heavier..
So nice! Can you tell me where he got the camouflage wrap from please? Also, did the swinging arms stickers come with the wrap, or separate. Thanks for the video 🙏. Greetings from Portugal, World Raid rider.
Very interesting Johannes :) ive been trying to decide between buying the AXP an the camel all weekend. Ace sweater btw!

this looks like the ultimate kyle bike. throw down a monster energy, have a vape and go pull wheelies on busy streets.
I have to look into those twin pegs! Great vid!
If you decide to get them, please let me know what you think. I will keep you guys posted throughout the summer.
Thanks 😊
very nice foiling in a forged carbon look, do you have any info where i can get it from?
i want to know also 😄 but i guess its just a blank "forged carbon wrap" custom fitted
What about the gps stabiliser? Is available on the market?

I love it, minus the stickers.
Great looking bike... Can you share the stl file to print the cockpit plate? I need it. And I cannot find in my country

Red is always faster!
I have Acerbis protector over both sides of the engine, zero stress.
Ingvar sounds like me, a Norwegian twin on a Workd raid 😅.
I want those tires god damit.
You're both crazy with how you ride the T7 and how much money you've thrown at it - haha!
Times? Tires?

No Huzar high short pipe? 😁
I'd like to see a comparison between the twin pegs and steg pegz.
I have the AXP euro 5 on mine almost a year and it's been beaten up allot and it's ok, never heard anything bad about it.
Happy to hear that Mario, thanks a lot for chiming in. Just to clarify, I've never heard anything bad either, I would just be cautious with plastic on a bike this heavy.
Awesome video, thanks! Does anyone know what that wire on the front of the brake pedal is for?
It's called a "brake snake" to prevent the brake pedal getting bent or damaged when riding offroad 😁
I have T700 but i don't know how to improve it
Great sweater!
Thanks 😊
You forgot Thomas with the twin pegs! lol. And it's Carpe Iter.
Were to buy these decals? Do you know?

can you tell where to get that good looking camo foil from? And thanks for the video! BR
He made it himself with Vivid+ - color is called "black stealth camouflage medium pattern"
where did he find the short brake and clutch grips looked good enough length
He 3d printed them himself 😊

Ok thanks
Make a comparison! Drive your T7 and this back to back!
Good suggestion, I'll try to get that done as soon as we can. If not I'll make it happen when we ride together in the Baltics this summer.
This may be the ultimate T7 setup... One question; Were and lighting upgrades done?
There will be lighting upgrades, in the tower he is about to put on there’s a very bright main light. Will also save som weight as the stock headlight unit is very heavy.

Hehe thanks, she'll probably read your comment as well (my biggest supporter 😅).
Ingvar says a radiator guard is ordered and on its way.
What’s that graphics kit?
Michelin Anakees on the front, not AX41's
REAR LISCENSE PLATE RELOCATION PLZ !!!!
Camel adv got nothin on HP corse. That beautiful Italian company 😉
It says Anakee on the front tyre, which is Michelin isn't it ??
Correct, so both tire sets are from Michelin.
Has he ridden the 790/890? Would love to hear his opinion vs the t7 from a guy with his riding style 😊

A black beauty!
think you forgot the high fender
Flott sykkel!👍
Mye lækkert på den der👍
Hehe, jepp, men hold godt på lommeboka, ellers blir det dyrt!
Felger😬
The front fender looks amazing and make the T7 look prettier, in my opinion. 👍👍

Which (high) fender is he using?
Did he cut the (lower) one in half?
Petter, Ingvar says this is the oem high fender kit from Yamaha. High fender and cut low fender comes in the package. I thought Ingvar did this himself.
and the weight? Not that it really matters, but put it on a scale anyway.
We talked about it today - he is going to get it properly measured and I’ll get back to you - He was hoping for at least 10kg down.
Last thing is missing. The ABS Dongle from LSK Electronics. 😆
The abs has been removed on this bike.
Bash bars would be a good addition
Anakee Wild on the first set of rims!!!
Correctomundo 😆
Too bad Yamaha doesn’t sell the world raid in japan
The camel adv ‘enduro’ bend just does not work. Ruins the lines.
Yes... the enduro bend is just...🫣
I'm not the biggest fan either, but I'm more of a function over form kind of guy. I like the other bend from Camel ADV better of the two.
