i got an unrecorded 6:58 (on moros) which made me very sad. but now i have this which is faster so i am not sad :) golden rule is dumb, i don't really go for it intentionally on moros since i think you have to give up a lot to force yourself down that route, but just stumbling into it in erebus is pretty nice lol. fwiw the unrecorded 6:58 didn't have golden rule so its not needed for torches at all

eh? moros is pretty flexible imo so I just roll with what I get mostly. lots of gods are good on atk/special, and a lot of gain boons are passable. channel speed is the main “extra” thing ur looking for beyond the core boons, but other than that I usually just take the first decent atk/special im offered

@@croven2103 couldnt agree more about channel speed being the main thing, i often take arachne's keepsake just to maintain it if i roll the channel speed dress

It is the first pick for now, the initial room clearing is a free sub 2:30 hecate and it keeps being strong throughout the run

yeah I just start engagement ring on almost everything now, it’s great erebus clear, applies one curse for origination, is very useful room clear in tartarus with hitch on every enemy and puts hera (one of the strongest gods imo) in the god pool. it’s just an incredibly strong boon to start with
