@@mydor123451 which certainly isnt a bad thing. I wanted coop for Hades SO bad. There are some neat features on this one though and the story is interesting. Clone it may be, but it's still fun and I'm excited to play it with people.
man Ravenswatch is so disappointing. it's so repetitive. Once you find out your character's meta you never have any incentive to stray from it. It needs more randomness.
You are showing levels I've never seen before! I played a demo of this game but it ends after the first biome/boss. Did they update the demo to include more levels or are you showing footage from something else? Can't wait for this game to release.
Everyone saying "This is just Hades with co-op" , Hades didn't do it first (and arguably not even best) they just did it well. This looks fresh honestly
But they the "God" boons, Duo boons, the way the enemy spawns in and they can choose 2 doors never 1 or 3 always 2 like Hades. The combat with same but kinda worse layout and it sweems like less viarety in terms of attacks. The whole HUD looks a lot like Hades 1 with the pillar of boons and a +1 or 2 beside upgraded skills.. I think it took way too much "inspiration" from hades instead of doing their own thing.
@HasturLaVishnu everything you've said is still not trend set by Hades 1/2. There are plenty of "choose a door" mechanic games that came before either of these titles. Nearly everything in Hades 1/2 was done before Hades came out, Hades just does it flawlessly and in their style. The Hades series is spectacular, but let's not take away from good looking games on the horizon and bleed the credit to the current popular title, Hades needs no help.
After seeing the entire EA of Hades 2 I'm actually more looking forward to Sworn I dunno if it's the lack of co op or something else but Hades feels like a stepdown IMO
It's a little on the nose in terms of how much it's aping Hades but it looks solid and it does seem to have made some simple additions that could give it a lot of additional replay value.
Still waiting for them to fix the weapon upgrade issue I have. I can upgrade at Merlin but not at nimue due to it disappearing 0.2 secs so can’t upgrade weps
finished the demo 3x, each with a higher difficulty. felt like a copy paste of hades. BUT coop had me and friends saw this in a different angle. overall, hades is more polished and more challenging
Reeks of Sweet Baby. All the characters are women and black. A typical Arthurian adventure appealing to the main demographics of ARPGs and Briton lore.

Yeah, basically looks like a rip off of Hades, right down to the menus and the artwork. 🤦♂️ But that's fine I guess, I can go for some more Hades while waiting for the second game to come out of early access.
Reminds me of "Curse of the Dead Gods". A shamefully overlooked ARPG and one of 2021s best games. It offered button presses as satisfying as FPS headshots, like hitting enemies with the tip of the spear for guaranteed crits. Wishlisting this for sure.

Yeah that's the one big thing Hades needed. I've played Sworn and it's quite good IMO. I'm excited for the full game.

Just because it’s a hades clone doesn’t mean it won’t be fun. I’ll definitely be checking this out.
