No, this guy stated in the beginning of the video that he's using a cheat for no damage and increased attack power. You'll get damaged if you run straight up to projectiles man
@@raviolibirb8009no no he is correct the initial projectile of that boss splits in a way that after splitting once you can dash to the initial location it split to avoid the rest of it. The guy is cheating but that is a legit strategy for that encounter

Cool Dialog. I suck so much at the Hades games, it takes me 50 runs to succeed. It'd be really cool if there were Legendary & Duo Boons that alter the Chronos Fight drastically in the case you get there on your 1st night. Did you create the mods used here? I'd like to make some. Itt appears that Super Giant encourages modding, in that much of the game is uncompiled & open source to allow Mods. FYI, this does happen with Eris in Oceanus, if you greatly out-pace the story, where she drops a Mandatory Boon that deals 20% Extra Damage to Melinoe for the remainder of that night. 😅❤
the developers made it really easy to modify files, as it is in early access. So I just increased my damage by 5x and made myself always intangible via game files.

It is worth pointing out that the game runs out with this first defeat, so it is likely that a bunch of the eventual first win dialogue hasn't been added to the game yet

Yeah they used cheats to void any damage dealt. Prob also added damage to themselves bc nobody I’ve seen play Hades 2 kills enemies that quickly lol. Bosses literally melt as if they’re just a simple wretch, and there’s a message at the start saying they used cheats and ppl still assume it’s a legit playthrough lol

it's for experiment purpose, I wouldn't see that unique dialogue myself, I've been trying for a good week now, a speedrunner might do it, we don't have that guy right now.
Even so, there's nothing wrong with using cheats in a single-player game. "Fun" is subjective and I don't think there's a right or wrong way to play a game. After all, a game is designed to entertain, and everyone is free to entertain themselves in the way that suits them. For some it's try harding for others it's powerplaying. The most important for a game is to have fun, I think ^^.
This was done for research purposes. It shows that we don’t get night one consolation dialogue, just the first victory lines, so at least the devs have that down.

There are discrepancies in the original, if I recall. The main things are that you’re expected to take a few runs at least, so you get special boss dialogue before then, though it’s generally not tailored to only night 1. Plus, it’s primarily voice lines. The Hades dialogue system is robust and powerful enough to handle these kinds of edge cases. There are hundreds and hundreds more to add in general, I’m sure. Adding a handful of new lines for edge cases seen by a tiny fraction of players is called “polish” in the games industry. Please don’t act like a fun easter egg isn’t worth development time. They’re just as fun to add from a dev’s perspective as they are to get from a player’s perspective.

And even if that weren't the case, there's a whole bunch of edge cases that aren't handled which are worth more attention than something most players won't experience.

There's a lot of updates coming to the game so hopefully they create more unique dialogue for this.

Retromation was able to beat him in like 3 or 4 runs. Nothing different or special in this video.
The initial dialogue on Chronos is different. After a few nights the dialogue starts with him stating about Melinoe coming through the gutter.
