    Thanks for the video, do remember unless you taped the blower inlet closed where the impeller has no air to bite into, when you opened the blower discharge to the throttle body...you actually caused the blower to bleed probably 70-90 HP more off the NA numbers to just turn the blower as it's impeller WAS biting into and compressing air....
    So that 290 would be probably 350hp if you had taken the belt off the blower and opened the tb THEN you would see true NA and the gains from the blower...
    Unless I missed that you removed the belt you had almost all the parasitic loss from driving the blower with none of the gain

      That's a good point and something I hadn't considered! When we disconnected the charge pipe, the belt was still on the supercharger. Might have to take it back to the dyno to test again! Thanks for the insight - I'm always learning new things like this.

      @@redgoatgarage yea I didn't mean it smart ass I did it from an F2 what seems like a step back to a F1A-94 and dude it was 100hp better on F1A-94 haha same speeds

    That's great power gains, man. I just ordered a torq storm supercharger for my 1974 Lincoln Mark VI with a 460 big block.

    Nice man!!! I’m thinking about putting a Torqstorm on my 5.3 LM7. It made around 315Rwhp so I’m excited on what it would make!!

      That’s a healthy little 5.3! I’ve been having lots of fun driving this car with this blower - it hauls ass!

      Does it have a stock cam? Where did you get the Intercooler set up for it?
      Nice I bet, that’s a great looking car.

      @@banuelosjorge9762 no it has a custom blower cam from COMP Cams. I called them and told them what I was doing and they spec’d out this cam for me. I told them driveability was more important than max horsepower.
      Intercooler is from Holley. The car honestly drives like any normal old car but when it really starts making boost around 3000rpm it just opens up and takes off.

    Just found your channel and subscribed fascinating information. I have a ProCharger “huge mistake” on an LS3 puts down 650 phonies to the ground.

      Thanks Dave! This one is definitely a very mild build. It runs so good and hauls ass - I'm extremely happy with the set up. But I know I could hit that 650HP like you with a few extra bolt ons.

      @@dave5833 yes I would have to. If I was going to do upgrades I'd probably run a smaller pulley on the blower, swap out the intake, and change to a set of AFR heads. But right now I have too much other stuff going on to worry about haha.

    i have a L96 in my blazer,the intake didnt fit so i had to get a Ls3 intake and injectors with a tsp stage 1 ls3 cam it was making like 414 fpt to the tires,i installed the torqstorm last summer and just got around to my buddy to tune it with the stock ls3 injectors,we made 539 fpt to the tires but i was shifting at 5200 rpm's because i have a T56 6 speed and my stock tach is off,i need to get a tachometer,but anyways i now have some 65 psi injectors so its on,but my tuner wants to play around with operating systems and pulsating the injectors to see what he can do,so if i would have shifted at 6200 rpm's theres no telling what im making.and the calculation for torque to horse power like 30 % something it was the same 539 hp to tires.all i did was put a cam and springs thats it,the motor was super clean with low miles 87,000 i would like to just put the 65 psi injectors in it but we have to start over but i think its worth it.oh and this is with the stock pulley on the blower.mine will never see a track and its not a daily and i dont go out racing people,its merely for my fun,if im in a hurry or mad or want to show off i can romp on it,plus it sounds sick.later

    Ok, so awesome increase in power.....but I would have put a smaller pulley on it if the gasket is helping to lower the compression. Now if the 290ish hp is at the wheels, that's not to bad but it does seem like that's really not very good either(even with the parts you talked about). As long as your happy I guess that's what's important

      The current pulley is 3.5" I believe and if I remember right, TorqStorm can install a 3.1" pulley on it. That 290 is at the wheels(all these numbers are I suppose). I dunno somebody else said they thought all the numbers were about 100HP low. But for now the car is together, runs great and I'm happy. Just like any gearhead I'm thinking about maybe throwing a set of heads on it, that smaller pulley and whatever else. Just need to keep it together and drive it for now lol.

    So '66 driving about nicely? Do a video of typical drive sometime, traffic etc. I got the single TS with full accessories from them for my 502 and crane roller 6.08 lift, 112 lsa and FiTech boost FI gathered up to install. Years ago it dyno'd 376 at wheel NA. Same here, want daily driveability with enuf to handle most...

      I haven't been driving it much the last few months. But I can tell you every time I do drive it, it's just like a modern car. Really good street manners and under 3K RPM's or so you'd never know it's supercharged. Once you hit that 3K RPM's and the boost comes in, yah better hold on! No complaints on my end at all with the set up. Next time I get it out I'll have to make a follow up video though. The car is kind of buried under another project cars parts haha

      I’m no expert but something was way off with you starting numbers. Less then 300 on a 6.0 with a cam? I don’t know. Maybe that cam is holding you back.

      @@theshark2804 the cam was a custom ground cam from Comp Cams specifically for that blower set up. So yes, it’s going to be low on HP when ran NA. The other thing is I told them I want a conservative cam that has great street manners. I’m sure I could go with a more aggressive cam. I went the same route with the tune, told the tuner I want conservative/safe not max HP.
      He also said that my intake and headers are holding me back. So lots of room to gain more HP. But honestly it runs so good and does everything I want so I’m trying to just keep it together and running lol

      @@redgoatgarage whatever you did I still admire you. All my project are on jack stands. It’s very smart to play safe. What a lot of ls guys don’t tell you is that they break these engines all the time. I’m not a shop or a huge UA-camr so if I break something it might set me back for years.🤣

    500HP isnt that much. I recently put a TS on my 5.3. is fun but i feel like my buddies Vortec 5.0 was way faster.

      lots of stuff to take into consideration,applications,heads,cam,free flowing exhaust,gear ratio,tire size,even the weather lots of stuff

      I'm just saying I think these TS superchargers are a little over stated on the site. I haven't seen a single blower setup up touch 750.. I haven't seen a video making 600!
