Thank you so much for doing this for everyone! This has helped me immensely. I've been researching electrolyte supplements for keto and this broke everything down and made so much sense for me! 💕 Thank you for all your videos!
I think it’s important to mention caffeine when comparing them too. My mom has heart issues and is sensitive to caffeine, so she drinks Ultima (0 mg) instead of Zipfizz (100 mg). I’m not sure what the others contain.
Cost per serving really makes sense. Keeping in mind "what you get" nutritionally is wise. This is why I rarely shop at any of the Dollar Type stores. Although I do shop at the local Health Food Stores to support the greater cause of the community. Thank you for your reviews.
Three times a year a few of our grocery stores will run Powerade for $.59. You must buy 15, so we used to buy three of each flavor, but not anymore ~thanks to you guys.
Hi. I use Dr Berg's and he has 2 flavors now. I love his powder. If you tasted it 2 years ago....I believe he has improved the taste. Thanks for taking the time for comparison.
I do sometimes have problems with electrolytes as I'm not a big salter. I try, but I do sometimes need supplements. I've been trying a few, but just recently saw the Keto Chow drops and wondered if I should try them. So, this is really timely for me. I really appreciate the work you put in to compile all of this information. Thanks!
I got the new Costco book and they are going to run Zipfizz for $24.99 again. Time to stock up. Last month, I ordered peach mango. My store had them during the summer, but I waited to long and they ran out. Thank you for doing this video. It all makes sense now.
Thank You for all this information! I was feeling totally crappy & realize now what would make it better because You inspired me to research aka binge watch you! Love&light from California 💗💗
Hi, Just saw this video and wanted to update you on Dr Berg's electrolytes. They now have 3 flavors. Im not a fan of the lemon, the orange is ok but the pomegranate cherry is delicious! I make a tall glass to down my supplements with lots of ice. There are two sizes and the large size is 3 months worth for not a whole lot more than the small one-month size. They do not have the cherry pomegranate in the large size yet. Prob not a coincidence, LOL.
Just FYI, Ascorbic acid is Vitamin C. I don't think there is any sugar in it. I use Calm, Sole water, and ACV in my Ketorade, also Ultima sticks sometimes, and Zip Fizz (though I don't like the carbs). Thanks for the review. I really appreciate you breaking everything down!
So thankful to have found your channel! This was so helpful! I have done Himalayan salt, NoSalt, and magnesium citrate capsules during my journey, just always added Himalayan and NoSalt to all my water... but my hubby is finally wanting to join me and he cannot stand salt in his water... this break down of products has been immensely helpful! I am going to try the ketochow drops for him... I love your science “geeky” info! He’s not so much into the details🥴... thank you for taking the time to gather and share this information!
Great video! Love the way you broke it down by ingredients and cost per serving. I worked in a vet clinic for 10 years and we used unflavored pedialyte for sick puppies and kittens all the time especially if their owners were unable to afford an IV and hospitalization.
Lots of good information in this video, but what I would like to know is the cost of a daily intake of these products in order to get the full day's dosage of potassium, sodium, and magnesium. I think a full day's dosage of Keto Chow would be over $10. Is that right, and are people actually spending that much?
Being on keto, I was looking for something with no sugar;LMNT’s was a game changer for me! I’ve tried many different hydrating drinks; didn’t care for most of them because I still would get cramps until I tried LMNT’s…more salt and magnesium took care of that issue and it tastes great too! 😊
I just started yesterday (10-2-22) on Dr. Berry's BBB&E 30n day challenge. I found it very difficult to stay in Keto, as my wife would not help. This will be my first time using an electrolyte supplement. I think I will take your advice and start with Keto Chow.
The only thing I do for electrolytes is Dr Berry’s ketorade (to which I add Redmond’s real salt, Nu-salt for potassium, and magnesium)...I’ve never figured out if I’m actually getting as many electrolytes as I need. I do occasionally have leg cramps at night. Thanks for doing all the nerdy work for us!
I drink salt water with ACV daily and also do Calm for Magnesium now will be looking into those electrolytes drops since want to get keto chow stuff I just priced all the stuff I want 🤦🏾♀️ I will budget this in after the holidays cause I need all this stuff thank ya'll so much for all the time you put in to bring us great information
I currently use zip fizz. My favorite flavors are blue raspberry and pink lemonade. I hadn't heard of keto vitals. Interesting video. Thanks for the hard work you put into it.
Fantastic video, thank you so much for putting all the work into researching the data and doing this comparison. Very useful! I use zip fizz, ultima and vega sports electrolytes. Next time I need to get some will get the Keto Vitals to try eventually
Great information. I love my Ultima Replenishers. I also take vitamin supplements every day. We have the Ketochow electrolyte and fasting drops but I haven't tried them yet.
I still strive to find the proper Electrolytes for my body. It has been the downfall of my journey for the most part. I’ve tried SO many. This is mind blowing. Very neat new product. Love the idea of it and would be blessed to try
Great information, so thorough. I use zip fizz & my food (avocado etc) for potassium, vitamin supplement for magnesium & pink Himalayan salt for sodium.
Thank you for this very informative video on electrolytes. I have really learned a lot, especially that I am not getting enough!!! I have just recently starting taking salt, but not my favorite way to get it. I supplement with magnesium and potassium tablets, but not fond of that either, as I don't feel I absorb much of it.
I loved this info! I wish more people would realize that Gatorade/Powerade are not good for electrolytes. They just have good marketing. But Joe, you’re killing me! It’s pronounced suc-ra-lose not suc-la-rose. 😁
Thanks for the break down. I had decided to give up zip fizz because of the price, but you gave me a reason to allow myself to use them as a treat. And I had bought the keto chow electrolytes (all 3 kinds) a couple, 3, years ago and have been using them when I can remember. Now I really think those were a wise choice. Thanks again.
I love the work for the video but when I check the servings for Keto Chow I only 125mg sodium and 130 mg potassium per half tsp, how did you get 3300mg for 3.5 servings?
Since this video is 2 years old, I am wondering about how the Keto Vitals and Keto Chow electrolytes would compare with Relyte, Perfect Keto, and LMNT, three products I see mentioned a bunch in YT videos. Your thoughts?
I bought the Ultima sticks a few weeks ago when I found them at a local gourmet store. I've been using one a day, but they don't dissolve very well. I think I'll try one of the others that you talked about next. The keto chow drops seem very convenient.
thank you so much for this i REALLY appreciate it. ive looked into many items others have suggested and ive been unsure on what to invest in that would work best.
I use both Keto Chow electrolytes and fasting drops in Dr Berry's Ketoraid recipe every day. Love the new single serving - those would be great to throw in the back pack while hiking. Thanks for the great review of these products and the breakdown of nutrients and cost!
Thanks for the great information. Not nerdy at all. It was great for us frugal people that want to get the best "bang" for our buck. The winner will be announced the day before my birthday. Maybe a happy birthday to me? Thanks again for your amazing videos!!!
We should read our labels. We take magnesium and potassium and we use redmonds. Thanks for the code. We were using powerade or gatorade, but we will use one of your suggestions.
Where was this video 6 months ago when I was trying to figure this out for myself? Lol Electrolytes are so important to get right. I eat a bunch of greens, take 2 servings of KetoVitals a day, and also supplement heavily with salt. Great job with this video!
Hi I've been low carb keto / carnivore for over a year and woke with palpitations this morning. I'm always tired but know I'm not eating enough and take magnesium, could I be low on sodium and potassium ?
Thank you so much for doing this video! My husband is very much like Joe. He wants to know the bottom line, how much bang for your Buck. I truly appreciate the fact that you guys do these. As of right now we're doing the Ultima refreshers. But most likely will be switching over to the keto Chow electrolytes as soon as our Ultima refreshers are gone. 💖😁
I use one zipfizz and 2 servings of ultima per day along with potassium and magnesium supplements. I’m interested in the keto vitals. Also, LMNT makes a good electrolyte mix.
Oh wow this was one of my favorite videos from y’all!!! Love the nerdy. I use Dr Ken Berry’s recipe for ketoade (pink salt, nu salt, liquid magnesium, stevia, lemon juice) I skip the ACV i love it! But I’d love to try the ketochow version in Zevia maybe!
Great video! Thank You! I currently use keto chow drops at least once a day. I would love to try the singles. I supplement potassium with an empty gelatin capsule of NoSalt and I found I am deficient in Magnesium so I switched to a cheated (chelated lol, spell check 🙄) Magnesium capsule daily. I tried to increase my magnesium glycinate but that gave me pyrotechnics, lol Rachel, love that phrase. Just trying to figure out what works best for me to get what I need without overdoing it. I also have some Sweet leaf water drops that I got from Publix (Amazon too). These are a small squirt type container and are sweetened with stevia to flavor my water if I want for times when I might be sick and just want a touch of flavor. I found though that they are too sweet when they come out in a “squirt” so I put them in an old liquid stevia bottle so I can control the sweetness. Just nice to have something on hand just Incase I am not feeling well. And of course I love my Redmond’s real salt.
I love the Fall backround, soooo beautiful. I love Fall. This review is so informative, I didn't realize Zip Fizz had 2 carbs, yikes I like this the best. Will definitely look into the CALM for sure. I never liked Gatorade. Thank you :-)
I make ketorade but with still water, I also sometimes use the ketochow electrolyte and magnesium drops for when I am on the go. I keep the small bottles in my purse and add some to whatever I am drinking.
I loved this one! As a triathlete, 2 time Ironman finisher, I definitely have to stay on top of my electrolytes! One of my previous massage therapists had told me about the calm due to the magnesium to address my nighttime cramps. I’ve tried many others, but I do love the Zip Fizz. One interesting little tidbit...many triathlon organizers have banned Gatorade from their courses due to the high levels of sodium & not being a complete replenishment. Many athletes choose JUST to drink the Gatorade on the course, the high levels of sodium make them more thirsty, they drink more Gatorade...viscous cycle that can lead to many dangerous conditions for an athlete. It also hinders absorption of foods, which in Ironman when you’re riding a bike for 112 miles, that’s when most athletes attempt their various calorie dense bars. I always try to have my own electrolyte drink for those events, but I have run out & may sip a little of the G, but stick to my water. Lots of great info guys, thanks!
In your website 1000 mg Potassium chart, I'm pretty sure you have an error under Keto Vitals. The Sodium and Magnesium for 2 scoops is 400 mg and not the 800 mg you have listed.
Thank you so much for doing this for everyone! This has helped me immensely. I've been researching electrolyte supplements for keto and this broke everything down and made so much sense for me! 💕 Thank you for all your videos!
😮 very helpful! My foot cramps have been waking me up and I’m just not doing enough electrolytes..
I think it’s important to mention caffeine when comparing them too. My mom has heart issues and is sensitive to caffeine, so she drinks Ultima (0 mg) instead of Zipfizz (100 mg). I’m not sure what the others contain.
You put so much work into this one.
Cost per serving really makes sense. Keeping in mind "what you get" nutritionally is wise. This is why I rarely shop at any of the Dollar Type stores. Although I do shop at the local Health Food Stores to support the greater cause of the community. Thank you for your reviews.
I’m so glad I found you guys 3 weeks ago I’ve binge watched ur videos love your energy and friendliness
Thank you for breaking this down for us. It helped to open my eyes to which is the best purchase for electrolytes!
I take Dr. Berg's electrolyte powder and I have found it tastes a bit better if you let it get cold. Thank you for all this information.
I use those too
I use Dr. Berg’s also. Especially because there are no dyes in it like there are in Zipfiz.
Celtic Sea Salt has a nice electrolyte powder, too. I found it at the health food store.
Thank you so much for doing this analysis. I had been wondering what new electrolytes I would buy!
If there could be a mash-up of you two and Thomas Delauer that would be incredible!! I love you two breaking things down for cost efficiency.
I do sometimes have problems with electrolytes as I'm not a big salter. I try, but I do sometimes need supplements. I've been trying a few, but just recently saw the Keto Chow drops and wondered if I should try them. So, this is really timely for me. I LOVE your background! This is my favorite season. As for electrolytes, I use KetoChow drops and their magnesium drops.
Thank You for all this information! I was feeling totally crappy & realize now what would make it better because You inspired me to research aka binge watch you! Love&light from California 💗💗
Gonna have to check out keto chow! Thanks for the info!

Thank you!!! I've been using the keto chow. How convenient they now come in individual packets.😎
There’s a lot of good information here. I’ve been using a mix from Amazon for about a year and now I’m going to review the breakdown more carefully
Excellent. Thank you. I ordered keto chow.
So thankful to have found your channel! This was so helpful! I use lite salt for sodium and potassium and Calm (from Costco) for my magnesium. Redmond for cooking. Also, an occasional Zip Fizz.
Thank you for all the information ... it has definitely helped me. Yall are the best. 💗
Thanks- really Great Info- I am new to Keto so learning about necessities
I’ve been using the keto chow drops for a couple of months. Thanks for the comparison breakdown.

Thank you. It's so good to know about other options and the savings. I usually drink zip fizz and use Calm at night.
Thank you for the great info. I needed that. I love the fruit zip fizz. I also drink the ultima lemon.
I use Dr. Berg Electrolytes but I'll reevaluate after watching this video again. Thanks for the info.
Such really good information. I appreciate that your doing the hard work for us!

Hey guys thanks for sharing. You 2 are always awesome :-)
Great information. I love my Ultima Replenishers. I also take vitamin supplements every day. We have the Ketochow electrolyte and fasting drops but I haven't tried them yet.
Rachel, have you ever experienced any negative side effects from Zipfizz?
I still strive to find the proper Electrolytes for my body. It has been the downfall of my journey for the most part. I’ve tried SO many. This is mind blowing. Very neat new product. Love the idea of it and would be blessed to try
Great information, so thorough. I use zip fizz & my food (avocado etc) for potassium, vitamin supplement for magnesium & pink Himalayan salt for sodium.

I loved all the "nerdy" info here Joe & Rach!
..also how much bang for your buck you get!
Have a Blessed day! :)

This is an awesome video. So informative. Thanks guys
What are they good for. I would love to have the new packs to use in my coffee or keto chow every day
Thanks for the break down.
I haven't been adding any extra electrolytes to my diet but Keto Chow sounds good. I would also like to try their meal replacement shakes.
I love the work for the video but when I check the servings for Keto Chow I only 125mg sodium and 130 mg potassium per half tsp, how did you get 3300mg for 3.5 servings?

Great reviews as always
Thank you for the information. I have been taking a magnesium/potassium supplement.
Are the mineral requirements for children the same as for adults? I would think children should not need as much.
Thank you much for the informative video!!
I bought the Ultima sticks a few weeks ago when I found them at a local gourmet store. I've been using one a day, but they don't dissolve very well. I think I'll try one of the others that you talked about next. The keto chow drops seem very convenient.
I use Zipfiz and add the keto chow fasting drops for the sodium. I also make a ACV tea at night with AVC redman real salt a lemon pack and steva drops
You are very informative …. Thank you
Loved this video!
thank you so much for this i REALLY appreciate it. ive looked into many items others have suggested and ive been unsure on what to invest in that would work best.

Ive been needing to up my potassium. Thank you for the info.
I love the ZipFizz, but haven't tried the Keto Chow drops or the KetoVitals. I may have to look into those as well. Thanks for the info. :)

Why not just salt food with Redmond’s and take magnesium supp and potassium. ??
I use one zipfizz and 2 servings of ultima per day along with potassium and magnesium supplements. I’m interested in the keto vitals. Also, LMNT makes a good electrolyte mix.
I use magnesium capsules from pure vitamin club and also keto chow drops!
Love you guys🤗🤗
Great video! I’ll have to get me some keto chow drops. Unless I win the drawing then I won’t have to buy any for a while.
Oh wow this was one of my favorite videos from y’all!!! Love the nerdy.

I found this very informative.
Glad we can help
Currently using Perfect Keto Electrolyte tablets. I'd love to try these drops.
So drinking Gatorade zero as a substitute for water is a bad idea?
If you are drinking that much, just remember you are consuming alot of sodium and hidden carbs
Thanks for the great comparison...I take magnesium and potassium supplements daily. I love Nerdy!!
Redmond salt minerals are not water soluble. Does stomach acid make the minerals absorbable
They get absorbed in the small intestine
I loved this one! As a triathlete, 2 time Ironman finisher, I definitely have to stay on top of my electrolytes! One of my previous massage therapists had told me about the calm due to the magnesium to address my nighttime cramps. I’ve tried many others, but I do love the Zip Fizz.

I use Keto K1000. It has the same ingredients as Dr. Berg’s but cheaper and free shipping with Prime.
Hi - can you update this video comparing with relyte and LMNT and others?
we are going to. I did all the prep work, we just need to find the time to make the video
In your website 1000 mg Potassium chart, I'm pretty sure you have an error under Keto Vitals. The Sodium and Magnesium for 2 scoops is 400 mg and not the 800 mg you have listed.
I use k1000 powder. Also are you supposed to get 4700 potassium a day?
Pedialyte no sugar in the supplement section. The baby section was pretty much sold out, but what they had was loaded with sugar.
Great video!
