Nah this is a way more just punishment. This guy will rot like Charles Manson did. And lifers cost the taxpayers WAY less than the death row folks who get unlimited appeals
death is quite easy, an easy way out no matter the method. to make horrible people suffer is to make sure to make it slow but fatal so we can get it in their head
It's a good thing, the death penalty is a kindness in my opinion, prison is torture, death would be an escape, he's going to rot behind bars for the rest of his life and nothing will be able to stop that from happening
You can tell he clearly doesn’t care about serving the rest of his life in prison. Hopefully he’ll suffer at the hands of the other inmates, but not get the pleasure of dying until the inmates are exhausted from using him for their sadistic pleasures. That’s what he deserves.
I doubt they'd ever get exhausted. If I had a group in prison I'd get them to jump him every single day of his life and beat him to an inch of his life every single day. Turn that face just like his haircut into a stuff of nightmares.
I’ve watched so many criminals go to jail for ‘life’, and come out 6 to 8 years later, to commit even worst crimes. Almost everyone who gets sentenced a certain amount of years, only serves, at most, one fourth to one third of their sentence. So glad this disgusting POS will most likely never see the outside of prison.

Only if the jury unanimously decides on the death penalty. If 1 or more juror decide for life in prison then death penalty can’t be given as a judgment under Florida law.
Because someone on the jury thought "the death penalty is barbaric, we must be better then these monsters, we're civilized" or they considered sentencing someone to death no difference to murder and couldn't handle that on their conscious to spite the person obviously deserving death. he'll get to eat, masturbate, listen to music, and so on, he will have times of enjoyment, to me, that's not fair.
For everyone questioning why he didn't get the death sentence, she did give him one, as he's not going to solitary, but gen pop. He will be dealt with accordingly and she knows this. The death sentence would have been mercy.
He didn't get the death sentence because this is Florida. Everybody is this crazy in Florida so to the jury it doesn't seem so crazy. Half of Florida's prison population deserves the death penalty...but to them that's just normal
@@shaunanacole the death penalty is the easy way out. That big smile, various comments he made to his lawyers and his head held high, soon disappeared when his sentencing was told. Fighting back tears feeling sorry for himself, noone else.
I agree with the judge, I thought the same thing, his decision to represent himself is ultimately what saved him, I think. I don’t think that’s how he intended it to go, I think, in his delusional mind, he honestly thought he’d be able to sell his bullshit story to the jury and lie his way back to freedom. But instead, he sold himself, the person, that the jury felt they’d gotten to know over the past 2 weeks and I think there’s something about him they found likable and that’s why they spared him. It’s weird, in a way, even now, it’s hard to imagine this is the same man who did something so monstrous, so horrific because in the courtroom, he never seemed scary in that way. Ridiculous and grandiose, yes, but his ridiculous sideshow is part of what makes you forget the details, I think. Even in the media, he’s not remembered for what he did, he’s remembered as that ridiculous guy who actually thought he could perform his way back to freedom. People forget all the horror. And there was a lot of it. A lot. Somewhere along the way, something obviously went very, very wrong. I didn’t watch the whole trial, just little clips here and there, but he doesn’t seem haunted or traumatized, from what I can see. Which is weird, you’d think you would be, having killed and maimed people so close to you, in such an up close and personal way. I watch for that, signs of trauma, hauntedness. I don’t see it with him. I think, deep down, he knows what he did, but I think he lies to everyone about it, including himself. That’s all I got for now.
He knows well what he did. He just doesn't want to accept it himself and in this video at the end he somewhat does assume his consequences in his heart. (If he has one). Otherwise his mind. I'm pretty sure he's not traumatized, not at least in this video. But definitely starting to show early signs of feeling haunted in his own head. Specially when he's told the life sentences. There you can see how he sort of realizes the magnitude of his actions. Long story short, I think he's mentally ill but had a lot of emotions and feelings. It's just he could not feel nor meditate shit since he's got a lot of adrenaline running thru his blood still. The real pain and suffering comes as soon as he's left alone for a moment. To me he will 1000% regret it and want to go back in time to undo what he did but yeah, it's too late whatever he does or thinks. At this point, he just accepted there's nothing but pain on his way.
Thank God these are running consecutively. He'll never see daylight again. I pray they put him in Gen Pop. He thinks he's so tough. Yeah let him get a bigger guy as his cellmate. He's going to end up someone's b¡***. They don't like kid killers in there.
If anyone deserved death it was this MONSTER!!! To think that his "charm" kept him out of the chair is absolutely mind blowing! I guess this jury didn't consider that a 9 year old autistic child was butchered and burned to death !
She said it that way so he couldnt call for a misrepresentation...so he had no way of getting out of jail... plus she probably was mad at the fact that they didnt sentence him to death so "charm" was said more sarcastically
the worst thing is that we will never why this happened because he is still so stuck on himself. hearing the judge talk about his daughter, made me cry. this is so unfair for their whole family! I do hope one day we get honest answers.

This kids darkest nightmares will always be of his own father. His life will never be free of that horrible day. I get they needed his testimony. But they could have done it via video or written!!
It’s appalling that this man was allowed to interrogate his son after all the trauma he already has been through. He never should have been given the right to represent himself. Glad it didn’t work out for him though.

As crazy as he was if he had just sat there with his mouth shut while another lawyer represented him with those facts he most likely would’ve gotten the death sentence. If you have grounds for an appeal, the courts are basically agreeing with you that there are enough grounds to question anything and everything the judge deemed fit already.
Good eye
👍 yep
100% facts. After the guilty verdict she said he would have been a good lawyer in another life and something like ‘I knew what points you were making, the jury just didn’t find it convincing’. BS! She just wanted that on the record in case he appealed lol
@@lolawants2008 You don’t give up your right to appeal if you represent yourself, but you mind as well give it up bc it’s near impossible. Especially when you admit guilt during closing arguments lol

3 life terms + 30 years +30 years+ 1024 days. Wow . This judge is on 🔥🔥🔥
technically its minus 1024 days. Still life in prison though.
He killed a disabled kid and her mother. How is that not the death penalty?
Death penalty would be too good for him. And ppl on death row sit there for years. He is Never getting out he gonna rot there for the rest of his Miserable Life.
To Impose the Death Penalty, it has to be a unanimous decision by the Jury. 1 or 2 of them voted life.
It absolutely shoulda been. But believe me, those prisoners in there will remind him of what he did every single day. He'll do the hardest time there is
Wow 3 life sentences plus 90 and he deserve everyday
still not enough
In solitary confinement, no time outdoors, a meal a day
You can see how evil he truly is. He didn't show any emotion just simple humms when the judge told the horrors. But he became emotional when she told the verdict. He doesn't care about anything then himself. I wish that place where the sun doesn't shine will grow and grow over the years that a melon could fit in.
To me this guy shouts crazy to the max all the way. As a retired RN I have seen my share of crazies which are not the usual mentally ill people you can diagnose and spent 10 years as a jail/prison nurse. I don’t believe in the death penalty as a rule, but I’m not sure he should even be around other prisoners. The devil is afraid of this guy.
Jeffrey Dahmer didn't last very long in prison either. And his treatment until he actually dies in prison will hopefully be like torture every single day.
There's bigger demons in prison that did worse than this guy he will meet those demons believe me.
Technically speaking him representing himself should have gotten him a one-way ticket
Nah this is a way more just punishment. This guy will rot like Charles Manson did. And lifers cost the taxpayers WAY less than the death row folks who get unlimited appeals
It was soo ridiculous. ..unbelievable..
Him representing himself was the funniest thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life 😂😭😭😭

He'll be the woman in about 3 months.
Im surprised he didn't get the death penalty, this is so so sad...
He should have but they gone get his ass in jail they don’t play about women and kids in prison
death is quite easy, an easy way out no matter the method. to make horrible people suffer is to make sure to make it slow but fatal so we can get it in their head
It's a good thing, the death penalty is a kindness in my opinion, prison is torture, death would be an escape, he's going to rot behind bars for the rest of his life and nothing will be able to stop that from happening
There is actually reason to that. Judge felt death was too good for him.
Do you mean like getting the electric chair with a dry sponge on top of his head like in the Green Mile?
You can tell he clearly doesn’t care about serving the rest of his life in prison. Hopefully he’ll suffer at the hands of the other inmates, but not get the pleasure of dying until the inmates are exhausted from using him for their sadistic pleasures. That’s what he deserves.
I doubt they'd ever get exhausted. If I had a group in prison I'd get them to jump him every single day of his life and beat him to an inch of his life every single day. Turn that face just like his haircut into a stuff of nightmares.
He is so detached and cold that he doesn’t even care . Period .
A true demon.
Exactly 😢😢🙌
I’ve watched so many criminals go to jail for ‘life’, and come out 6 to 8 years later, to commit even worst crimes. Almost everyone who gets sentenced a certain amount of years, only serves, at most, one fourth to one third of their sentence. So glad this disgusting POS will most likely never see the outside of prison.
It's not "most likely" he will NEVER get out period.

Ole sparky needs this guy to take a seat
Only if the jury unanimously decides on the death penalty. If 1 or more juror decide for life in prison then death penalty can’t be given as a judgment under Florida law.
Because someone on the jury thought "the death penalty is barbaric, we must be better then these monsters, we're civilized" or they considered sentencing someone to death no difference to murder and couldn't handle that on their conscious to spite the person obviously deserving death. he'll get to eat, masturbate, listen to music, and so on, he will have times of enjoyment, to me, that's not fair.
@@jacejohnson7113 They should just be taken to the back of the prison and shot in the head.
Idk…Drug dealers maybe 🤷♀️
For everyone questioning why he didn't get the death sentence, she did give him one, as he's not going to solitary, but gen pop. He will be dealt with accordingly and she knows this. The death sentence would have been mercy.
He didn't get the death sentence because this is Florida. Everybody is this crazy in Florida so to the jury it doesn't seem so crazy. Half of Florida's prison population deserves the death penalty...but to them that's just normal
@@shaunanacole the death penalty is the easy way out. Imagine being mentally unbalanced and stuck in a 6x8 concrete room with no way out no TV, radio, nothing but a walk to a 10x10 cage outside for an hour a week for the rest of your life. People during the pandemic couldn't handle lockdowns and they had all the liberties. And some go to gen pop where they are usually murdered in their first year. The mental torture is the real justice, a shot in the arm is the easy way out.
@@uzazil A) He would have appealed for a decade, at least. B) No, "most" are not murdered in their first year. Though some are. C) Neither sociopaths nor psychopaths feel regret nor empathy. You imagine him sitting along and feeling bad about what he did. He's not capable. D) They have waaaaaay more freedom of movement in prison than you believe.
@@nikk.1729 I never said most I said some, also it doesn't matter if a people with aspd can't feel empathy, true they won't feel bad, but they will go crazy because they don't get the attention they so desperately crave with solitary. And if someone is in solitary they only get 1 hour a day if they behave to walk by themselves in the yard. Aside from showers they are by themselves 23 hours a day with nothing but walls, and sometimes a window to look at. All serial killers on death row talk about how easy it is because they can talk to their neighbors, gaurds reporters etc. But they break after just 24 hours in the hole, now imagine being like that for 23 hours 7 days a week until you die. That's the best kind of mental torture these nutcase deserve. Not an easy way out. Besides one wrongly convicted person destroys the punishment for all because it shows the system failed.

Mike recalled the night of the murders, saying that there was "no expectation Ronnie would live" and that he considers Ronnie's recovery to be a miracle. Of the adoption, Ronnie says that he is "loved" and "part of the family." 💙💙💙
did she actually say he can be “ charming” and “likeable”🚫
i dont see it lol😂🤷🏽♂️
She was “complimenting” his ability of representing himself in court so that he has not chance at getting a mistrial for doing a poor job
I don't think he understands what he did
Thank God these are running consecutively. He'll never see daylight again. I pray they put him in Gen Pop. He thinks he's so tough. Yeah let him get a bigger guy as his cellmate. He's going to end up someone's b¡***. They don't like kid killers in there.
