Yes sorry the geniuses at UA-cam had figured out that they would be smart and remove the sound of clips like this that gives free commercial to the bands.
Anywho I don't know of a way to fix this so UA-cam can go have fun with themselves until they find out that they've lost 60 % of their viewers

Amazing job on a very difficult vocal. Sounds almost studio quality when you turn it up. David's voice is simply perfect.
god i get goosebumps everytime i hear this and it brings tears to my eyes. his voice is frickin amazin. best band ever to be created and the best vocalist, David, to ever exist.
I love how this doesnt sound like their other songs. Its refreshing when a band does something totally different.
Believe is, and will always be Disturbed's best album! Darkness is an amazing song, and it is also a tear jerker.

Actually I think it's further than a love ballad
I would concur. On the outside, this song appears to be a dark love ballad, but there is a much deeper layer of pain and suffering. It discusses death and loneliness at the most morrow of levels, especially on the refrain, where he is likely speaking of a person who has died.
I think this song is about seeing a loved one die. Definitely one of the most underrated sad songs ever.
jeez, this sounds just as good live as the studio version. I had always thought this band was just kinda "meh", with douchey and repetitive songs. Spend a little time on them and give them another listen. Chills throughout this song, and I wish they did more like it.

Hard to believe disturbed has a lighter-inducing song... When I heard this on the Believe album I didn't believe it was them at first. It sounds nothing like Disturbed, or their signature sound.
To all of those who think that they can't do live performances: recording in a studio is one thing, playing live is another.
But all things a side, this song is great! I was suprised when I've herd it. A metal band doing a ballad-type song. Kewl!

When i started listening to this vid, i thought the song was superimposed onto the video, but he loses pitch in the "on my own" and it shows that they are human. but these guys kick ass! and they will rock forever

simply an amazing song. i love it. I saw these guys live but they didnt play darkness...i couldnt complain too much because they were awesome but i would have really loved to hear darkness live.

as a whole, this was extremely close to the recorded version, the live audio track is up on itunes as well. So if you were serious, attacking the pitch on one word in the song, listen to most other bands live, or the really not so great live Stricken previews on itunes.

ya fuzz was still there cuz he left in like 2004 or 05 and this video was in 2002 i think..and their fade to black cover took place at the same concert and i know fuzz was there..fuzz was really good, why did he leave? ive heard alot of different answers

the sketchy thing about this song is that it has a piano part, and what sounds like a cello but could also be a synth, and nobody's playing the parts.

Yeah. He was a tad flat on some of the notes, but he can't sound like a perfect recording every time. He has a great voice. =)
