- Tires in my opinion are one of the most important things on a car. Often times, people treat tires as a set it and forget it type of thing, which shouldn't be the case. Tires need care and attention just like any other part on your vehicle.
Have you noticed your tires wearing unevenly? Are they slick on one side but not the other? Your tires could be indicating that you have a deeper problem. In this video, I explain the top 5 reasons your tire could be wearing unevenly. I'll show you different wear patterns and what causes each one.
I hope this video helps you. If it does, hit that like button so it can help someone else too! Want to join the tribe? Come on and subscribe! They'll be more content for your learning and entertainment.

bad tire noise while driving tire review - Авто та транспорт
Man, I like this guy. Knowledgeable, and seems super friendly.
I am not smart when comes to tire problems and such but your video gave some insight of what could be going on with my truck tires. Time to take a look at the underside and see what it could be. Thanks for the useful tips.
One of the better examples of patterns wear explained . I've come across
Best video I've come across. Exactly what I needed. I am a US Postal Carrier and noticed inside wear on my rear Driver side tire. After watching this video, I know what to look for and what steps I need to get it resolved quickly. Thanks for your video! Instant Like and Subscribe.
Thanks for your support buddy
I bought new tires for my Crown Victoria. but front tires only lasted for 6 months, because my alignment is messed up. Make sure to check the alignment when you decide to invest on tires for old or high mileage used car.
Probably need new ball joints and tie rods. And shocks Gabriel ultras for cheap, kyb for OEM and bilsteins.
Hey Alex, I appreciate the excellent information my brother. I am a DIY guy when I can because let's face it things are not cheap too get fixed so I do when at all possible. This video led me to my shock being the issue and saved me time and money. God Bless. 🙏
I’m so glad my video was able to help you, that’s my goal with this channel is to help people save time and money, Thanks for watching and for the blessing
Thanks for this! I think my tires may be slightly under inflated because there is sone extra wear on the outside. I also think my shocks or springs are needing replacement because the car bounces around a bit whenever I go over rough roads. The question that I have not found the answer to is this: do front or rear tires wear faster on a FWD vehicle? I have a Lexus RX330. I rotate the tires every 5000 miles with the oil change. My front tires are at about 7/32 and my rear tires are at 5/32.
I appreciate you and your knowledge, even tire techs while working with them didnt teach me this... We only busted tires and attached wheel weights to balance and let the customer drive away, not knowing for the proper education of why the vehicle is driving the way it does...
6:35 that happend to my c280 w204 too. My rear tires seemed fine from the outside but the innerside was completly worn to the metal wires.
Thos guy does a VERY GREAT JOB explaining
This was a funny and very informative video on what to look for to help you diagnose what's going on with your vehicle. Keep up the good work! God bless you.
Thanks brother god bless you as well
Great in-depth explanation with examples
Thx man, I have been trying to explain this for years and everyone thinks I am dumb, but tires do tell all, and thx again I subscribe to your channel,
Thanks for making this video! Simple explanations yet very informative. I just took my 2011 F-150 to get tires rotated and they mentioned the front tires were cupping, and you can see it like mountains and starting to make noise. They recommended me to check the shocks checked. After watching this video, I am confident that’s what’s it’s going to be 👍🏻
My ford f 150 tire in the back is wearing on the in side would that be the shock
@@budeugene5301 possibly mate that’ll be camber issue your having which could lead to a bad shock but I feel the spring/ rear suspension setup is too far negative
My ford f150 done the same thing front tires bald on inside.
Thanks for the vid. I learned stuff!
Bone thugs n CARmony
Best one yet lol I love it

Thanks dude. Been trying to figure out wear patterns.
My pleasure thanks for watching
Thanks for sharing . I had my wheels in storage over winter and when I took to switch summer - the tires are not straight , looks like the tires are buckled and not even. Any ideas what caused that? I was told to replace all tires :(
Thank you, sir! Very informative, and very much appreciated!
He may get some words mixed up but that is a very well explained video for home DIY mechanics like me.
Thanks very much for sharing important tire information via UA-cam. I would love to live near this man to get maintenance and/or repairs done for my vehicles. I am 66 years and 31 days as of my comments. Accidents are at a high level because many people are not getting proper maintenance or repairs of their vehicles. Safety first is most important to me. Thanks for reading my comments. Smiles
You are very welcome mam.
My Van has the same problems. It was bad outside, but inside was good.
I have a van too. Was your steering wheel shaking when you had bad tires?

Thank you so much, you must read my mind because I just bought this 2012 QX56 Infiniti and it just felt like something was wrong either with the tire or something on the right hand side because it just kept feeling like it was riding bumpy on that side of the SUV I could feel it even in my steering wheel while I was driving however I did notice that the outside of the tires look to be worn but the inside has plenty tread and even on the top of the tire. thank you so much I can't thank you enough now I know exactly what I need to have replaced I will be watching out for your videos because who knows I may have other problems or issues later but I do appreciate you Thanks again Lavern😅
This is a very informative video. You did a great job. Thanks! Keep making good content like this Alex.
Thanks, will do!
Great video thanks! I've hit a massive pothole once and now I think my CV axle bent... Both front tyres wear more on the outside and a wierd humming noise happens when I drive with right steering direction. No noise when driving left.
It sounds like you have a bad wheel bearing.I Would recommend a full front end Inspection on a shop lift
@@AlexTheCarDoctor thanks for the tip! I'll take to the garage hope they identify what's wrong so i can change myself
That’s your best bet, have them identify the problem and you fix it
Hi, I got hit at side rear wheel, after a month I notice my both front wheel get bald outside. Does it get effected by hitting the rear wheel?please and thank you
3:34 or to much chamber lol . Your very informative. Just Subscribed and sent this video to my son so he can diagnose if he needs new tires. Good job!!!👍 Just how I wanted to explain it to my Millennial lol🙂

Very good information- Thank you!
My pleasure thanks for watching
Awesome video thank you so much from California
My pleasure thanks for watching. I have a sister out that way
I liked your video and it was very informative. However,I still have a question in mind.If my car was aligned 2 yrs ago and tires were at 35psi pressure then.what happened if I changed the tires after 2yrs and set the pressure to 40 psi,and I noticed that the label on the side door specify that a pressure of 33psi is recommended.what kind of wear do I expect?I have been hitting a lot of potholes on highway recently and noticed that my front tires are only losing tread on the inside only the part that is close to the engine.I thought about adjusting this negative camber but somebody told me that a toed-in wheel can also cause this kind of tread wear. What I did was to deflate all tires to 35psi and i am watching to see if this will remedy the situation.but the tread on one side are almost gone now and it hasnt been 3 months yet.so what is ur opinion about the cause
I will have someone check out the front end for play you most likely have a worn suspension component that the alignment shop missed or worn out after they did the alignment.tire pressure in that small increments will not affect anything from my experience
I really love your Explanation😊😊
Love from Fiji🇫🇯
Thank you! 😃 it’s my dream to visit Fiji some day !
Knowledgeable guy 💯
Thank you
My tire have the symptoms exactly the same as your “shocks” section - wavy inner wear, sounds like bad wheel bearing. But I just changed to a BC Racing coilover.
What might be the issue with the setup? Too firm or too soft that caused this waviness?
Love your vibe brother!
Thanks bro!
Tire noise and bearing noise can easily be confused. I can hear the noise on the road, but there is no noise when the tire is lifted.
@alexthecardoctor. So if i have lower control arms that needs to be replaced. And its wearing the inside and outside thread. after replacing the control arms i need to re-align and balance the tires ya? And also maybe rotate them?
Great vidoe men, im having issue the tyre is outside wear.. not much.. and when i full turn to the right.. the stabilizer link hit the car rim a bit.. the car had accident before.. it iz permenant.. and cant be change?im puzzle men
What type of car do you have
awesome video!
Thank you

This guy is the best.!
Thanks buddy
Thank you, I learned a lot!

Hello Alex. Thanks for the much needed informative video. I have a question regarding my toyota car. My front left tyre worn out from outside completely even after wheel alignment, and two tyres were damaged over a period of time. So just days back i purchased two new tyres and did wheel alignment but my left front tyre is showing signs of wearing out from outside again. What could be the possible reason? Thank you.
Hey there someone is not doing the proper checks on your suspension. something is worn out that the alignment shop is missing, I see this all the time they will just do the alignment and line up a car with loose suspension components once the car goes down the road it throws back out of alignment due to loose components or damaged compartments.I have a video coming out soon showing how to check suspension components,I may have an old video showing but I can’t remember
@alex will surely check out. thank you 👍
Great information, ty for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Ive had front and rear tire popped on me in 2 Separate time .. just got new tires on a old mitsubishi car, tire were new next day goin home tire goes out goin 60mph luckily im a driver driver other time was 06 honda hybrid back tire goin 60mphplus bothe tire completely trashed blessing 🙌
Can wide truck offset and spacer cause wear ?
How often should you rotate tires.
Thanks. My tires are underinflated. @.@ you are awesome
Thanks buddy, glad I was able to help
Very good way of explanation thanks
Thanks brother I really appreciate the love
Thankyou
I bought some rims and it came with some decent tires but 2 of the tires are bald on the outer part .. can I mount them and use them like that or should I buy new tires
I don’t recommend using any type of bald tires. You can find tires really cheap on eBay quality new and used tires, then take them to your local tire shop
Informative video. Had to laugh at the may pop remark....I knew exactly what you were talking about.
Glad you enjoyed the video
I’m glad that got cleared up. I was thinking of the month of may, and couldn’t figure the meaning of the pop. I didn’t think i was stupid, but now I’m pessimistic ✈️ 👨
Learned something new!
I’m glad you enjoyed it
Great video brother!!!
Thanks buddy
For a second I thought he was that singer “Russ” 😂
Hie Alex I have a Toyota Noah 2011 version. I have a problem with Rear tyres finishing inside. I had to deal with buying bushes and replaced but I keep on with the same problem. I was told by one exprt that my axle is bent I bought a second hand and replaced . Tye problem still is not solved. Tell me what should I do . Thank you, Yours Ole
Hello there I’m not to familiar with that van but I still may be able to help first off how long have you had the van and what do you use the van for hauling people hauling very heavy items etc.
I did an alignment and rotation two months ago, but I notice the inside of my front tires are getting eaten more than any other part. Could that mean I didn't get a good alignment job done? I also lowered the car 1.2 inches. Could that be the issue?
Hey there that should not matter I have a feeling they did not do a good job,you may also have loose or damaged suspension components, the shop suppose to check that before performing the alignment
I like "may pop" comment, I laughed for 10 min!!
Nice lol I’m glad you enjoyed my video buddy
You seem like a swell guy man 👍
Thank you Alex, I am Hispanic mom , but my daughter car has that issue, with the one of the tires😢.
You are welcome! Hope this video could help you guys.
The Ladies Man
I'm considering buying a car that has been in an accident but has been repaired, and the nearside tyre has excessive wear. Possibly either of these 5, if the vehicle does have a bent chassis or frame, or if the vehicle has damaged or bent suspension components is it expensive to repair? The car is great spec great mileage great price.
Hey buddy. I don’t recommend buying cars that has been in a bad accident frame/chassis work can be expensive also some accident cars comes with weird problems sometimes like electrical and the resale value is affected hope this information helps
no matter the tire size is the tire pressure on car door the correct psi?
You're hired. New subscribers alert!!
Thanks for the support buddy
Great vid thank you
My pleasure
It's called toe-in / toe-out when the tires "snow shoveling" or positive / negative camber when the tires lean in or out.
That’s correct you got it buddy. Thanks for watching
👍 thanks
