Such a great video. I have a side by side whirlpool but pretty much the same design from your video. The problem and solution was just as what was shown in the video. Thank you!
Thank you for this video! Had the same problem but my steamer wouldn't work so I used a vacuum and duct tape to suck out the clog.

Hi. I have the exact same fridge. I have an odor coming from my fridge. Ive cleaned and cleaned. I don’t believe the drain hose is clogged because I am able to pour water down the drain line and I see the water pouring in the drain pan. I cleaned the hose and drain pan with vinegar and hot water as well but the odor is still there. The odor is not a as bad since I’ve cleaned my drain line and drain pan but the odor is still there. I will take the drain line out like in your video and see if that stops the smell..Any other suggestions, PLEASE 😩😩😩!!🤞🏽🤞🏽.
Sir Great Video. Thanks!. In my Frigidaire (side by side Model (FFHS2611LBRA) I see water draining from the bottom not from inside the fridge through the doors. could that be a drain pan that is rusted out. Sometimes that water is brownish. In my old Kenmore the drain pan was metal and had developed some holes. is the current models metal pan and if so how to replace/ fix by patching any cracks. The leak is not continuous and occurs around every 24-40 hours. I am suspecting the drain pan either over flowing or has a crack that causes the leak. Any help appreciated. Thanks!
Can this be done from accessing the inside of the freezer only? Like by using a wet dry vac with an adapter inserted into that drain hole only instead of having to pull the tubing out the back?? Or pouring hot water there. Thank you
Do you know how to remove the plastic drain pan? It looks like it should come out of the front on the right side, but I was not able to loosen it.
tnx awesome
Thank you worked great
I noticed ice on the top coils. Is that a problem or will it melt eventually?
Thank you.
so how did you pull the tube out? Mine does not want to come out.
Can you use co2 cartridges
So mine is leaking but it’s only when you get water from it. There is this hole where something once was and now it leaks water from there also
What if you have no steamer?
What would cause the ice maker to freeze up solid and have ice on the inside of the door where the ice dispenses from?
Where is that water supposed to go if it goes to drain pan if it don't freeze.
is it normal for a brand new fridge to do this? Because ours is..
Boy... did i need too see this viedo. Now .i got this under control myself and saved me a bunch of money .
Thank you .
Great video. Now I don’t have to call somebody.
Do you know how to remove drain pan? It’s in the front right side of the unit.
Hi. The leak in mine is from the bottom of the fridge and not from inside through the door. I am suspecting broken / cracked drain pan. did you ever figure out how to remove the drain pan. Mine is Frigidaire Model FFHS2611LBRAA -year 2016. Thanks
I’m thinking of you have to do this then you need a new thermostat/temperature sensor.
I'm just curious have you had any complaints yet?
This video saved me hundreds of dollars in repair. I followed it step by step and my fridge was as good as new!
Still using the raggedy steamer or a new one? Lol
Great video. Awesome!
