- Today we're watching Daft Punk by PTX. Sorry for the bad cuts and if the audio ends up being out of line at all. Still learning how to edit. Hang with me. Thanks for the support everyone. I really appreciate it.
Let me know what you want to hear next. Don't forget to subscribe!
Sorry that the window is so small! I messed it up in editing. If the audio is weird that's my fault too. I'll get better, friends. Stick with me.
Sound was fine bud
they have an iconic off mic private performance of this video ua-cam.com/video/tw4YCsHXKgI/v-deo.html
MinaOlenElla I love this off-mic performance!!! Yes, microphones enhance any sound, but the fact they’re able to do this just standing there in a room still just blows me away!!
Love their off-mic performance of “Love Again” too!!! ua-cam.com/video/GyRiez6UKAI/v-deo.html
I've noticed that some reactions by others where headphones weren't used had some interference between the audio the reactor is listening to and that in the video feed.
[One week ago]
"Idk anything about these guys or any of their names, but I don't usually like acapella so we'll see"
[A day later]
"Jesus, mitch"
"Oh, kevin"
"Goddamn, Avi"
"Get it, Kirstie"
"My god, Scott"
LOL I love it!! He jumped in with both feet and is a Pentaholic already 😂
We've come so far from the "I don't know about acapella. It sounds so churchie..."
He has been recruited into the cult
Late in replying but I LOVED seeing that! It's just delightful.
This is the best comment!! I've rewatched this video plenty of times and each time this comment makes me chuckle. So true, lol!
""I'm worried about this one..." Cut to 1 minute later... "My concerns are gone." Yep, that is what happens when listening to PTX!
I loved that LOL made me laugh... "My concerns are gone!"
You will never get anywhere underestimating PTX. But you learned fast.
All us Pentaholics love and still support Avi, but I for one am just so thankful PTX was able to find Matt to join. He’s so fun-loving and brings great energy to their live performances!!
Avi was and still IS amazing, I will miss him with Pentatonix but Matt hasn't once felt out of place
SAME! He’s amazing! He had some big shoes to fill and that couldn’t have been easy, yet he keeps smiling and being himself!
Avi is missed but I agree I think Matt matches their kind of energy and since he loved the group before even joining I think makes it better and he has such a great voice
The great thing with that is, since Avi is making music also, you actually get PTX *and* Avi too = more music 😃
So, no need to miss Avi, he's out there doing his thing for all of us to enjoy
As much as I love Avi, I feel like Matt's style fits the whole group better. Their version of Mr Grinch is absolutely the BOMB and Avi obviously could do it, but I personally feel Matt's tone fits it so much better, it's more pop-y and jazzy.
Other than microphone quality no effects. "You ain't seen nothing yet". They did it in a closet because that was what they could afford at the time. The new guy Matt fit in perfectly.
They recorded the audio in a closet, and shot the video in Avi's kitchen with a black backdrop. Whoever they had edit the video for them did a kickass job!
@@bill.godwin-austen I THINK it may have been Kevin that edited but I could be wrong. I know they have a friend who has done their other music videos so maybe they did this too...I really don't know. All I REALLY know is that this video was dirt cheap to make and they came out with a World-Class piece of music here!
It was a paid production company that did the editing.
Matt's no Avi..... They still need a true Bass......
@@ubreak13 Maybe not but since Avi recommended Matt, he's doing fine.
Kevin not only beat boxes and has a lovely singing voice, but he also is an excellent cellist, can beatbox while playing cello, and can rap - watch their Sing video!
and he plays the sax and piano too!
Or Can't Hold Us too!
And he's fluent in Mandarin.
He also speaks some Spanish, graduated from Yale, and completed all his pre-med requirements before changing directions
Excellent cellist may be an understatement.
A few years ago, many were killed and more injured during the hate shootings at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida. As Superfruit, Scott and Mitch, both gay, invited Brian Justin Crum, Mary Lambert, and Mario Jose, all part of the LGBTQ+ family, to join them in a cover of Katie Perry's Rise. Watching this can be a shattering experience.
I cry every time I watch it.
Very good. I love the Rise video by Superfruit.
Yaaaaaaaaaaas!
It. Makes. Me. Cry!
Yeeeesssss!!
There’s a live private performance of this where they are just standing together in a room with a small audience and no mic and it really shows how there’s very little effects put on their work. It sounds great. Pretty much all just their talent. And Kevin beatboxes for 5 mins straight. How, I don’t know. Especially when He does it for a whole live concerts and that’s even longer. So intricate, he’s a beast. Can’t wait for your next one. Maybe Can’t Hold Us?
yeah, i was going to say that this live performance is almost more impressive since it shows just how good they are
Definitely. Check out that “private performance “
Yes check out their private performance🤞🏻
I’ll agree with everyone here, check out the live private performance!! Great job with the reactions! You e got a new subbie ! 😁
That performance is EVERYTHING.... isn't that what the kids say lol..... but it really is great.
Kevin is an insanely talented beat boxer but he is soooo much more. He is also a classically trained cellist, plays piano/keyboard, used(?) to play the sax extremely well, has a degree from Yale in pre-med and Asian studies, speaks five languages including flawless Mandarin Chinese, writes and produces music and "invented" the genre cello-boxing which combines playing the cello and beat boxing along with it. He was preparing for med school when Scott found a UA-cam video of his cello boxing and essentially had to beg him to come to LA to try out with PTX for the Sing-Off competition. All five of them first met the day before the audition and the rest is history.
The venue they had set up to record at fell through at the last minute so they filmed in Avi and Kevin's kitchen and recorded the soundtrack in the bedroom closet. They hired someone to do the editing. This video cost them $400 to make. They did their own makeup, contacts and Kirsten's wig, etc.
I love the new guy Matt, not so much at first because i really missed Avi, but once i stopped comparing him to Avi, i really started to love him, different sound but still none the less, talented.
G'Day from OZ, I feel exactly the same, he has filled the vacancy, and brought Joy back into the group’s dynamics
He's talented but I like the original pentatonix sound better. I feel it fit better more of a rich full sound
pls man, use headphones! it sounds so much better and you don't want to miss their music with best quality
Absolutely! I can see where you're not reacting when Avi drops a bomb. And it was him doing alot of the sound effects and all the bass beats.
"My concerns are gone." 😆
You started with some of their Christmas stuff, which tends a little more towards traditional acapella, so I can see where you would have been concerned. For an original song in a similar vibe, you should check out Love Again.
Love Again is one of my favorites - the song is great and the production is WOW
@@lindamorris3149 Mine , too!
DEFINITELY check out Love Again!!
It was surprising and devastating when Avi announced his departure, but Matt has filled his shoes so well. It's a different style of bass singing, but it blends with the group so well. You'll enjoy it.
FINALLY!! Someone who appreciates Kevin's beatboxing to the degree it deserves to be appreciated! I've watched a ton of reaction videos to this song and everyone talks about Avi, which, I mean, he's insane, but no one comments on the absolute SICK percussion by K.O. Thank you!
Wear headphones when you can or you may miss out on a lot of the guys' bass and Kevin's wicked beatboxing.
"Avi smoking a joint?" Not many people notice his red eyes. He didn't handle to contacts very well. His eyes got super irritated. Also, react to "Love Again" It's an original song in the same electronic / synth style. The new guy, Matt, is great. He's not AVI. Different, but not worse.
Yeah, Kevin had it even worse with his eyes which is why he is wearing shades instead. :)
You: I'm worried. I don't know how it's gonna translate from an electronic synth sound to a capella.
Pentatonix: Hold my beer!
😂🍺
They opened their concert with this in June and it sounds just as great. They record how they can sound live. They recorded in a closet because the record company they had as a result of winning the Sing off competition dropped them almost immediately. They recorded and produced this for $400 and uploaded to UA-cam since they had no recording contract. They are amazing. Thanks for the great reaction
You left out the important fact that they then went on to win a Grammy for this recording. Yup, they made a video recorded in the kitchen shot the video in the closet and won a Grammy.
It was Sony who dropped 'em, go figure...I wonder what they feel like now after that dumb ass move!!
Sound recorded in a closet, video in the kitchen 😄
This was early in their careers, they had won an a Capella tv-competition (the sing off) but were dropped by the label right after.
Of course there's some tweaking done to the song to fill out the sound just a bit, but not as much as you'd think. For comparison, this video is of a live performance, without even mics ua-cam.com/video/tw4YCsHXKgI/v-deo.html
YES!!! I had seen this one but didn't have the link, and I had mentioned it to Kyle, but I could not supply the link! Good on you! :)
Bet that label kicks themselves for that mistake!!!! How dumb!?
@@pennypokey Epic Records was the label that dropped them. Never understood why they would sponsor The Sing-Off, providing the winners with a recording contract, only to renege on the deal. In an ironic twist, RCA Records, which is a subsidiary label of Sony BMG just like Epic, sought out Pentatonix 3 years later in 2014, offering them a record deal. That led to their double platinum selling album That's Christmas To Me and the rest is history, as they say. ;1
Wow thx for the info @Lupin788. Surprised it took 3 yrs for another company to offer them a contract!!! Smh.
@@pennypokey Industry music executives didn't believe an a cappella group could be commercially viable. I suspect Epic was using The Sing-Off to find new vocal talent but wanted the winning group - in this case, PTX - to change their style and work with a band playing real instruments. PTX had to create their own success by building their fanbase, starting with the ones gained from their appearances on The Sing-Off.
"are they singing two different songs at the same time?" CUTE They are awesome at mashups! Please check out some old ones (with Avi) such as Don't Worry Child/Save the World, La la latch and ALL of their Evolution videos. Newer mashups with the new bass Matt like New Rules/Are you that Somebody. Keep the reactions coming!
They've done some great mashups. In addition to the ones you mention are La La Latch, and my favorite of all their mashups: Despacito x Shape of You. Unfortunately, it's one they didn't do a video for, but the audio of it is amazing.
PTX fans ("Pentaholics") are probably the nicest and most supportive fandom anywhere.
This is way more accurate than one would think...
Pentaholics and Critters, which are the only two fandoms I regularly post or comment for...
mitchy is no ordinary tenor, hes a counter tenor (which is rare as hell)
Other must watches from Pentatonix: Gold, New Rules x Re you That Someone, as guests in Todrick Hall's Wizard of Ahhhs, Havana, Run to You, Come Along, Making Christmas (adapted from the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas - not your everyday xmas fare...), many more...
Yes, Gold.
I am loving your reactions! This was the video that won them their first Grammy. It was filmed in Avi's apartment for under $1000. Kevin is so talented. He also graduated Pre med, plays the cello, and speaks Chinese. Sometimes I think he isn't human. I think you will enjoy Matt(the new bass), he isn't Avi, but lets admit Avi is one of a kind. There is a short video of them singing live and Avi blows the speaker. Matt brings a whole different dynamic to the group and is amazing in his own right. Looking forward to more reactions!
Not the video, they won in the category of "best arrangement, instrumental or a cappella". Same category for the Grammy for Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy the next year.
I believe there are more videos than one of Avi blowing speakers, but maybe I'm wrong... doesn't change the fact that this man has some sort of alien voice...
Could you PRETTY PLEASE supply a link to the blown speaker? I heard about it but have not seen the video of when it happened. :)
If not, that's okay. I will just keep looking until I find it. :)
@@jamescurfman3284 entered "Avi Kaplan speaker" into UA-cam search. ua-cam.com/video/eeHRokYRVms/v-deo.html
Run to You is an original by Pentatonix. It is powerful, devastating, and utterly beautiful. Avi and Kevin brought a first draft to the rest of the group and together they finished and arranged it. The video is set outside in the snow. During the chorus (if I remember correctly), the snow appears to rise rather than fall. I read in a comment that the group learned to appear to sing the chorus backwards so that it would appear when run in reverse as though they were singing normally while the snow seems to rise. I hope all of this is true. This is one of my favorite songs and videos of theirs.
first of all: headphones Kyle! :D
second, welcome to the world of Pentatonix, or PTX as you'll come to know them too. you're right, Avi has left the group willingly, and the new guy Matt is lovely. some people have a little trouble letting go of Avi (myself included), but it was his choice and everyone is on good terms.
my fave PTX reaction songs would be White Winter Hymnal, Run To You and Drummer Boy - all with Avi.
with Matt - Shallow, Come Along and The Sound of Silence.
If you keep uploading, I'll keep watching :)
Yeah, headphones will change your world with that kind of music ;)
04:31 that part sang by mitch always gets so overlooked! I've always wondered why no reactor talked about that part! You're literally the only person who noticed that part and I loved that about you cause that part is just so sick!
Since you pointed out that they were mashing up 2 different songs, you should react to New Rules x Are you that somebody! it’s great
Yes. I love it. And it's got the new guy.
Yes! I love their mashups.
There is a video I watched earlier of Pentatonix singing this song live (no video effects, and obviously no enhanced audio). And....sounds just as good. Even more impressive when you hear how tight and in sync it is. Absolutely phenomenal!
Their version of Bohemian Rhapsody pleeasssee :P I'm really loving your reactions. Avi made a video explaining why he left (Them constantly working was taking it's toll on him) but Matt has been great. They filmed it in a closet cos they didn't have any money back then. They won a singing show and the prize was a label contract but the label dropped them from the start because they didn't think Acapella would be sellable so the band had to do it themselves on youtube.
I love watching people finding out about PTX. Watching minds get blown by the sheer talent is one of my favorite pastimes. :)
You're off to an excellent start! Scott and Mitch have known each other and sung together since they were ten. They know each other's voices so well... They are both gay and formed a group called Superfruit to give themselves a music and comedy outlet apart from Pentatonix. Scot and Mitch have remarkable ranges that have only gotten better with time. Scott in particular is known for riffs and runs. As Superfruit, the have made several music videos that you should watch. Their Beyonce medley and Empire medley are great. The broadway musical Wicked told the prestory to the Wizard of Oz. Scott and Mitch sing together in Defying Gravity from that show. It may look silly at first, but Mitch especially will knock you out with his performance.
Scott Hoying and Mario Jose are powerfully beautiful together in Lost On You, a cover of an LP song that someone was brilliant enough to realize could be sung over "Time" from Hans Zimmer's soundtrack for the movie Inception (not Insomnia, as I'd written earlier). Gorgeous and a knock-out performance. Also check out the video of LP's live performance of Lost On You.
The movie was 'Inception', not Insomnia. HUGS!
Oh duh! You're right, of course. My only excuse is that I couldn't sleep so I was on the internet...
With Pentatonix, its best to just not be utterly astonished with what they do... it’s easier on your heart. :)
I think most Pentaholics like Avi over Matt but I love them both equally. They are both amazing bassists but their tones are different. The main reason I love Matt is because he ALWAYS seems to have a smile on his face, even when he's singing 😁
Enjoying your reactions man, keep it up!
👑 ❤️
I’m very excited to see you keep reacting to PTX! Subscribed and wishing luck for you’re channel :)
When they were just starting out, they lived in three apartments, worked all day every day on their music, and recorded everything on somebody's i-phone. They were young, had nothing but talent and drive, they believed in themselves, and they became monsters of the UA-cam channel. One year later, they were filling auditoriums, and the year after than, and subsequently, they have sold out whole stadiums.
Nice reactions. I'm interested in seeing what else you are going to discover. I love Pentatonix of course, so I hope you keep it up in addition to whatever else you find to react to.
Your reactions are one of the best I've seen! I love them! Some suggestions I have are:
Aha! live Singapore the star vista (because: Mitch is a friggin angel)
Can't hold us (because: great song to see what they all can do)
Bohemian rhapsody (because: iT's FrIgGiN aWeSoMe!!!!!!)
Can't sleep love (original) (because: my favourite original, I think)
Problem (because: Scott has a range man, you've seen how low he can get, now get ready for...)
Can you feel the love tonight (because: Matt, the new bass, fits in perfectly and here's a great example)
Kyle...as you get used to them they keep pushing to envelope.....then you go see them live and you are BLOWN away. Saw them live twice and it was just incredible to hear them sing, without any mic, any instruments, or any help. It's simply breath taking. Enjoy them.....Bob
You need to check out Bohemian Rhapsody!
They kill it don't they..
Music Love yeah! How great was that
Music Love appreciate you checking it out
ua-cam.com/video/ojRj2JK5oCI/v-deo.html
It’s just so damn fun to see someone learn how great they are. Pentatonix and their fans are just the best, welcome to the family. Watching them grow and continue to put out incredible performances has been such a joy.
"My concerns are gone" I need a t-shirt with this!!! Love it!!
if you want to see one of their new videos that really showcases matt try the sound of silence! for another one in daft punk sorta style they have an original song called love again
Man my favorite pentatonix mashup, la la latch! Chicks voice is addicting!
New subscriber, and love your dog! Last video (Hallelujah) you mentioned Scott's bass, depsite all the nay sayers, Scott does cover the bass when Avi sings, I've seen them live enough times to witness it,. Also to hear more of Scott using his bass voice check out their cover of Sound of Silence, and it's got the new bass Matt in it. Keep coming with the PTX-I love watching new reactors become a Pentaholic!
We pentaholics, and yeah, I consider myself one. LOVE seeing someone new discover what an amazing group this is. Welcome!!
He thought Kevin was going off, before he started really going off. :D
I recommend Pentatonix's cover of Kiara's Gold. It's amazing. You can hear each of their gifts so clearly on that one. And yes, Kevin is beyond amazing, but then again, they all are. I'm seeing them in concert on Monday!
This is a great reaction, and yes Kevin is great, but the reason they nail the beat is because Kevin of Kevin's beatboxing and Avi's bass skills
You are just starting to see their brilliance and insane talents!!! 💖💖😁 Love your husky Kyle!!💖💖
I’ve seen them live and at a private performance and there are no effects, just genius!
They actually did this song live in front of a small crowd. I think it was in a hospital. At least that's what it looked like. You can hear everything. They are so good 😊
I know this is a late comment, but I've watched many reactions lately to PTX and I must say that your discernment of so many subtleties in this video is impressive. I envy your ear for music. And any of these reaction videos get a thumbs up from me if there is a dog in the background.
Home Free is another good A Capella group to listen to. They've got a country vibe, but they do some awesome songs.
Greg Steele They also have Tim Foust as their bass singer, one of the few in the world that can match or better Avi Kaplan in the bass arena.
Yeah, Tim is great. Different tone, but awesome pipes.
You’re gonna need to introduce us to that Doggo :P
saw them perform this live, and it sounded exactly the same as the studio. incredible.
YOU NEED. TO WATCH. THEIR EVOLUTIONS🤯🤯🤯
He reminded me when he asked, “Are they singing 2 different songs at the same time?”😂😂
Sound of Silence, Somebody that I Used To Know, and all of their Sing Off performances (if you only watch one I'd recommend Love Lockdown performance).
Literally just talent man, live performances will blow you away even more because they do no effects. Pure talent, everywhere, and It's totally normal to question it at first, but you'll get over it XD
Let's not forget The Promise by Superfruit, as well as their Imaginary Parties and Guy.exe.
Agree with this. Just to explain... Superfruit is Scott and Mitch as a duo. (started out as a vlog channel, but is now more of a music channel since they released their album: Future Friends).
I really dislike "The Promise" - it's such a cheesy old lady's song, at least sound-wise. Reminds me of German "Schlager" too much. Imaginary Parties and Guy.exe are awesome, though, but not for everyone, I guess. My more conservative friends find them too campy.
@@daarianaharis Too campy is code for too gay in conservative speak. Superfruit is not the group for you if you're anti gay.
Headphones is a must when listening to PTX and A Capella in general. Great reactions none the less.
Seemed like you missed Avi's deep notes this time, which always happens when you dont have Headphones on. I mean you didn't seem to notice the low voice in Avi and Kevin's solo. Try to hear it again with headphones on and see if you notice a difference + see if you get a new reaction which is what you and we want as a reactors.
Unless you can compensate with a high quality sound system that can give the same or better experience where nothing is lost of course ;P. Also it only cost them 400$ to make this video at home in a kitchen and closet using a smoke machine, the make up, eyes and talents.
Ahhh!!! So freaking excited to see your reaction to this one!! I am watching your Pentatonix videos in order to watch you discover them and how amazeballs they are!
If you haven't already noticed, you'll be bombarded with requests for PTX vids from all us Pentaholics 😁
Kyle: How are they gonna keep the electronic/synth sound
PTX: Hold my beer
Would love to see you react to their off mic performance of this song (someone linked below) just so you can see how this translates live. It’s nuts.
Don’t forget headphones 😉
Also, yes, Avi leaving was a bummer. We miss him but we also love the new bass, Matt, and he fits in well for sure! Their “Evolution of Rihanna” is one of my favorites and it is a good example of Matt’s talents.
Finally, check out Avi’s solo work. I suggest “Change on the Rise”.
Hi
I think you need a part two for people reacting to Mitch's voice. Lol
Norric Coreyan JnoHope hi! I posted a part two just the other day😊
Dance of the sugar plum fairy is another one that really shows off their skill. Also, sound of silence is a great intro to Matt, the new bass
At the end they sang all 4 songs at the same time! This is one of my favorites! Avi did the circular breathing to make the "swirling" sound. They are such a tight group! Their cover of "Bohemian Rhapsody" is also great.
I love, love, love seeing a reaction youtuber discover Pentatonix and get addicted!! LOL, happens every time!! The Pentaholics are the best group of fans!
The first reaction I had when I heard them sing was... REALLY! If this is what I'm competing with my vocal career is over before it began, so I'll bow out gracefully and save myself the embarrassment! 😭
🤣😂👍🏻🙋♀️
I recommend Evolution of Rihanna - Pentatonix
As others may have told, Pentatonix thow their very last pennies together to make this video. Winning the Grammy was both, well eraned and the best thing that could happend at that time. And no, they are singing in the "what you see is whay you get"-style. Keep going! Oh, and sorry if I have mistyped or misplaced some words. I am not an english native speaker...
You have to watch Bohemian Rhapsody and the video of Aga recorded live at the star Vista. Also they all have solo work and Scott and Mitch have their own group called Superfruit with amazing original songs
Kyle, loving your reaction vids on the Pentatonix group. Love how you went skeptic at the beginning because "not what you listen to" to you loving and raving on them.
Actually like your react vids better than others I've seen where the reviewers try and act like they are some great authority on what their watching, you are just down to earth and appreciative of the talent.
Seeing fresh pentaholics hearing kevin killin it never gets old
Smiles ear to ear
when you first started and said you were concerned I felt like I was in on a secret. I knew you would love it.
So, Kyle, welcome to Pentatonix world!!
PTX made a huge splash in 2011 on the A Capella singing competition show "Sing Off." All of those performances are on UA-cam so go dig them up and binge watch them...You will NOT regret it!
This group does all of their own arranging. They use no electronic effects (other than maybe a little reverb...) for their recordings and post-mix efforts. No auto-tune, bass box, electronic kit - nothing. Everything they do is pure body and voice produced. This particular recording is what won them their 1st Grammy. The story goes they recorded the audio in their apartment's closet and all the video was done in the kitchen with stuff bought at Home Depot/Lowes. Total cost to make this vid was something like $150. I haven't seen them live but would love the chance some day!
As for your editing - you're not doing bad. Honest!! I would recommend ALWAYS using headphones so you don't get the speakers feeding back and creating an echo effect though. Also, good headphones make PTX sound AMAZING!! (Even cheap ones do!!)
Next up, you need to listen to some Home Free, then Voice Play and a little Voctave. They're all A Capella groups that are making it in the modern music industry!
They got on this one. Again all their natural ability. Thank you for you videos. I love how pure reactions are. Btw welcome to the Pentaholics.
I love Pentatonix and am super happy that you’re doing theses videos!
Thank you for sharing your reactions! It’s always awesome to watch someone enjoy their songs for the first time!
Pentatonix groupies are inherently nice people. We are always ready to welcome new members and we love you too!
ptx prides themselves on being able to do all the effects with their own voices.
Subscribed. I watched the first three reaction and you are so good at this!
I'm sure you have so many recommendations already, but if you want to hear the new guy, definitely check out The Sound of Silence. It's really up there with Hallelujah and it shows off the new bass as well as Scott on the bass.
Their new bass' name is Matt Sallee and he's wonderful. He really fits with the group not just vocally but also with his personality. He's been with them for two years now.
He's a different kind of bass than Avi, obviously. It would be almost impossible to find another Avi. Matt is a baritone with his register extending pretty low and the group is taking advantage of that. His bass is also on a softer side, which however fits for the sound they are going for now.
I hope you keep this up, I really love your style of reacting.
You need to watch their live stuff. A lot of people don’t believe they’re actually legit until they see them live. To hear the new guy you can watch “Making Christmas”. It’s one of my kids’ favorites, along with “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” and “God Rest You Merry Gentlemen”
Also, Avi is my boy and he has a few videos out which you would probably enjoy, especially “Change on the Rise”. It’s a very different sound but shows so much of his range and abilities.
I Love this Kyle. Pentatonix can do so many different styles. They are so talented. I had never seen this video or knew who Daft Punk was before two weeks ago. That is when I discovered reactions and you were one of the first ones that I visited. I have been back many times. You are a polite young man with a lot of knowledge about music and styles etc. I enjoy your channel very much Kyle. Take care, Barbara
The new bass Matt isn’t Avi but he is still good.
Matt is great, but Avi left some huge shoes to fill
I keep coming back to this reaction every few weeks, just because it's great
Much love Kyle, you're a sweetheart
I remember your first reaction video and how you said you were not really in to a cappella groups and here you are loving these guys! I feel the same way- they are insane! Great reaction!
if you really want to hear Mitch's highs and Avi's lows then you should watch Pentatonix - Aha!, Singapore, The Star Vista
Omgosh, your dog is gorgeous! You aren't too bad yourself either! 😁 Please keep reacting to Pentatonix & throw in some Superfruit as well! I really love how you are so blown away by their talent. The more you watch, the more amazing they become. I don't think there is anything that they can't do! All their covers are upgrades & their originals are just amazing in my opinion! Your channel is my favorite so keep up the great work! ❤
You've got a really great thing going here, going through PTX stuff. As a long time Pentatonix fan it is such fun getting to almost relive their performances through you, seeing you hear everything for the first time. PTX fans are pretty darn great and supportive. I think you should check out their performances on the Sing Off tv show, get to see how they started. Anyway, keep up the awesome work!!
I love it when you say 'my concerns are gone.' By now you know they don't have 'effects.' It's all their voices.
It is so fun to watch someone discover this group! They have turned a cappella on its head. They love to find churches, garages, closets and such to create different sounds. I believe this was done at Kirstie’s house for around $400. Correct me if I’m wrong folks.
I love it when someone 'gets' Pentatonix! It's so exciting for them and I love seeing a new fan being made.
I’m so glad I found your PTX reactions. If you like this one they have an original song in this same electronic style called Love again that you should check out. I’ve seen them in concert numerous times and it almost sounds exactly the same live.
this is their first grammy. Iv'e heard this live.. they were just as good. that's just all them.
New sub. There’s always room for more PTX reactors!!! Glad you’re here!
If you watch & listen closely... Avi throws in some sound effects here & there. Dude!!! MUST LISTEN WITH 🎧! Whole new experience!
Avi & red eyes... he had a hard time with the contact lenses.
