With short and regular oil change interval, good fuel and on later versions with carbon cleaning every 30k, it is very reliable. Only bigger issue might be water pump. But on stock internals 550hp is not going to last for a long time.
@@kaurvali Depends on spec, UK cars dont require carbon cleaning, but i believe the US specs do?? But yeah 550hp is a ticking time bomb on stock internals, just gotta be prepared to spend a load on a new engine.

Did you take any weights of the items? I’ve been looking at ways to try and reduce the weight of my golf R without ruining too much of the drivability. Also is there a version of the plastic windows that work with the window motors or are they fixed only? Love the car can’t wait to see it on the road 🔥
@@DrivingWithBen nah mate spend 25 on getting the car another 25 on mods and you are nearly there. And these eat Lambos and Porsches for breakfast on track. One of my has one, but was further tuned by TVS in Holland, nothing can catch it, proper series GT3 cars struggle with it
