I use a plastic condiment bottle to squeeze my jello, pudding, maple syrup, or whatever, right into the holes. Around here I'm the poke cake and dump cake queen.

I had already made mine and I was waiting for it to cool off in the refrigerator when I thought i want to look up and see what other cakes others had made and found your channel :) I wish i'd looked it up first because i didnt make the holes big enough , I used a straw. I also seen you used 3 cups of milk, and that and using a wooden spoon to make the holes is so helpful for me . I will do that next time and my pudding will go inside of the cake instead of all sitting on top of the cake . It was still really good though :)
When I was a child my mom used jello instead of the pudding. I remember the jello would invade the cake a little around the holes it was a happy fun cake. I can’t have sugar so I bought a sugar free vanilla cake mix and I got sugar free vanilla pudding I hope it comes out.

Can I put a pie filling underneath the cake or instead of the frosting have a cream cheese over the top like a blueberry poke cake but still put the pudding. Let me know how I can change this like a pie filling underneath or some cream cheese frosting. Not sure. I don't like the pre mixed frostings
I love poke cakes and make many different kinds myself but the one here we just don't care nothing for. I kn kids love these cake because of the sprinkle's.

It will, just make the holes big enough. You can also take a spoon and run over the top and that will help the pudding get in the holes.
