I had a similar situation, but with a twist. I'd already settled into a new place and unpacked everything. Then, a week later, the actual owner reached out to me. Turns out, the person I'd been dealing with wasn't the real owner at all. They were just renting the place for less and trying to get more money from other tenants. This fake owner hadn't paid rent for three months on the unit I was renting. I had to push to get my deposit back, and it took them three months or even longer to finally hand it over. But looking back, I'm kind of grateful it happened because something unlucky went down in that unit. Thank goodness things turned out okay!

Guys.. DO NOT DO A LONG TERM COMMITMENT from your sofas in Denver.. do an Airbnb or something for a month and walk and see everything.. so much better to get good prices and find the real spot. When you look the owner or broker in the eyes and have money close to you, its so much better to do a good deal. So much more than cabinets and toilets are important that maybe the Campos don't see.. like view, nearby stores or the amenities. Just a tip, but Ive been all over among the buildings, and one of the best and not expensive is Trion Towers.. the 270 degrees view in a 3 BR on 46 floor or so so are worth everything. and the amenities is very nice indeed.
Watching this, I hope this wonderful family can be given favorable lease amounts by whoever big landlord owns whichever place they get to choose. This is a big test of our famous hospitality as a people. This family deserves to be given a favorable deal.

Try checking out The Rise Makati by Shangri-La. It's near BGC, safe, and your kids will love the amenities. It's also convenient, with many restaurants and coffee shops downstairs in the building. 🥰
And if one of the other units, with a better view and another bathroom gets free in the Sapphire, you could easily move there.. Thats also to keep in mind.
the first condo in my opinion is much better, the view is awesome the downside is 2 T&B only but its much spacious ang look well maintain than the 2nd unit
The view looks so gorgeous. And we trust our friends, opinions! But you’re right, the downside is the two bathrooms. It might not have been as big of a deal, except it’s also a very small bathroom for them to share. If we’re signing long-term lease, we really want to find three bathrooms.
There's also a lot of international schools in Manila & Cebu or some good public science Schools like in Cebu they have the national science highschool & university of the Philippines , de la Salle University, University of Santo Tomas . Good luck ❤

Kind of embarrassed what my Filipino constituents did to you but I wish you will find something you'll like . Cebu is a peaceful place , Manila is more city & chaotic . Good luck but please be careful with your money , be mindful & careful with your money so you won't get screwed. What's important is that it feels like home to you , fire exits & neighborhood is safe esp with your kids . Find places with good Schools & good influence.

Actually you can rent at Ayala Alabang Village. It’s a posh village. Security is very strict. Usual price is 80k to 120k.

It's hard to find the right place at the right price but we're going to keep looking until we find it.
@livethephilippines i hope you'll find good apartments for a low price.. even 100k a month is way expensive in the Philippines.. take cRe you guyss.. please be safe.. there are bad people here in the Philippines, even in bgc. Be friendly to anyone, but don't trust so easily...

I own a 3 bedroom condo unit in BGC can be leased short term only for 6 mos. maximum at affordable price since our family stay in the unit every 6 mos.

Kind of embarrassed what my Filipino constituents did to you but I wish you will find something you'll like . Cebu is a peaceful place , Manila is more city & chaotic . Good luck but please be careful with your money , be mindful & careful with your money so you won't get screwed. What's important is that it feels like home to you , fire exits & neighborhood is safe esp with your kids . Find places with good Schools & good influence.
