Nicely presented. Very helpful
did yours have a sponge? i can’t find anywhere where the sponge is suppose to be positioned at because it seems like it’s blocking my drive from working at the top
I did not have a sponge piece for my clipper. Perhaps this is part of the packaging to ensure nothing gets in trouble during the shipping process?
Could this be why my clippers just stopped cutting al of a sudden? I just got a new blade and they’re not cutting either. So it’s not the blade
That's a great question! And I will first say that just because a blade is new doesn't mean it was sharpened before it left. Some companies have outside companies making and packaging with no tester making sure the blade has an edge. But before you send your new blade off to the sharpener, I would highly suggest changing your blade drive first. It's a quick and simple check to see if that's the reason why your blade isn't cutting. And if it still doesn't cut after the change, it may need to visit your sharpener. 🤞hope the change helps
@@Dognormousllc thanks! I appreciate the info.
Does your clippers need to be on when attaching a different blade ?
Typically you will want to turn your clipper on before you snap the blade in to place. It takes a little of the fatigue off blade drive and the piece that moves the blade back and forth. If you haven't been doing that, it's not life or death for your clippers, but you may find that your clippers will get louder on you faster, which may mean you need a new blade drive, or other new bits to keep your clipper working in tip top shape.
@@Dognormousllc I typically turn it on before attaching the blades but with previous clippers I realized the clasp thing to put the blade on usually break first. Is that Normal
@@Kaydeep94 a clasp breaking is not normal. And I'll be honest, the only clasp thing I can think of that moves is the little metal piece that you slide the blade onto. So I'm not really sure I understand what is exactly breaking. 😬 Can you link me to the part you would need to replace that breaks?
