I might have to get a new clipper. I currently have the Andis ProAlloy, have had them for about 11 months. the lever goes down within like a second once I'm applying pressure. For the past couple weeks I noticed it, but kind of set it aside. Last night I was giving myself a quick cleanup on my fade when suddenly I forgot to adjust it bc it does close on it's own when I apply pressure, and I ended up going a little to high with the #1 guard😠, I had it opened all the way but it closed within like a second... so now my left side is all jacked up and high, looks stupid and I got work in the next days, lol. I saw this video and opened up my clippers. I then realized I don't have that adjustable lever, I don't think there is anything I can do other than fighting a loose lever or just buying a new pair of Andis😅, I'm thinking of getting the new but affordable Andis master ghost, $165.00, This time I'm going for durability any recommendations? I just hope if I do get the ghost they have that adjustable part where u can tighten it or loosen it

Great post…which is becoming increasingly rare on YT.
Larry - is there an inside joke that “Larry the barber” doesn’t have a hair on his head?

Life saver ! I dropped my clippers and thought the adjuster broke inside because it became loose !
