    Would love to see the video on shooting arrows that are way too stiff vs too weak. Could be interesting 👍

      Ok, I will look at doing one with 800, 700, 600 and 500 spine arrows.

      @Australian_Made might break in the bow as well. Make good viewing but don't fancy a lump of carbon in my hand... 🤪🤔

    Yes Andrew, with that shorter riser I was able to get my 400 spine Blackeagle arrows to tune last year with very little effort. All that's left is to fletch some with 2" & some with 3". That new setup & video sounds outstanding. Looking forward to it.

      Sounds like you are getting some great setups that shoot really well. As for my new setup, well, I am really surprised just how forgiving and stable it is. Very little vibration and the limbs are very smooth to draw, very stable and quite fast. Looks good too 😁

      @@brookvalleylife724 Yeah, quiet means more efficient. No need to go against the Universe, it's a battle u won't win. I shot better @ 19 yards in the 🌳 than 13. Long bow is smoother to draw but the target under u is tougher cuz I'm hanging from a saddle attached to a climbing rope that is well above over a union in the 🌳. I'm much better @ short targets with a steep angle with my 62" bow.

      @@josephtreadlightly5686 Yes, yes, yes. Brace height and tiller plus string material make a massive difference for sound. Longer bows also produce less sound. I shoot a 70" bow (25"riser with long limbs). They are usually easier to draw as well. It will depend on your height as well but I find longer the better. However a longer bow in a tree may be an issue 😁

      Yep, I also like the longer bow with my 30" draw. My slower limbs with that short riser I think will give me ideal arrow flight since they r 500 spine. But those 400 spine arrows need the N3's on that shorter riser which is already been proven worked well. So the C1's will shoot the Icepoints pretty well & I'll go back & forth all year shooting both bow setups until fall when I will only shoot the N3's with those great 30 1/2" X-Impact arrows. 😮🎉

    Shooting from a elevated perch in a 🌳. It went very well. Last year my bare shafts shot great on the ground. With tuned arrows up in the 🌳 every bare shaft was tail high. I didn't have any bare shafts that went into the 3D target that had a different angle than the fletched ones. Even when the arrows are still a little stiff with the 25" riser. But when i put these limbs on my 19" riser later the stiff issue will go away. But these Pandarus Icepoint arrows which were .006 are shooting more consistently than that. I think they are as tough as any arrow ive shot. 🤔 😅🎉

      Hey Joe. Sounds like you are finally shooting outside 😁. Great news on the arrows shooting well. You didn't say, but when you change riser size, the poundage of the limbs change. Short riser poundage goes up and visa versa. It's like going from short to long limbs where the poundage drops . I have the 0.003" Icepoints and they shoot perfectly. I can't tell any difference. I have been trying out the new ET-15A in Olympic recurve set up with the N3 Pro limbs. (Video coming soon) but they shoot really well. They are not cheap but will give any $1000 riser or limbs a run for their money.

    G'day again.
    Finding correct spine is one of
    these ```black arts´´´ things, right??

    • @brookvalleylife724
      @brookvalleylife724  4 місяці тому +1

      Oh yes. Spine charts are a good starting point but we all have different arrow lengths, point weight fletchings and even shoot the bows differently, find what spine you need is, as you say a "black art".... good fun testing though
