Ever since I started using a cable box I could not figure out how to fix this problem, the coax cable did the trick along with changing HD1 to AV, this was a great video. Thanks very much.

Hola Thomas...Eureka..It worked! Coaxial to coaxial! I also used an HDMI cable AND the coaxial cable from HDMI out from my DVD player, and it sounds GREAT! Video is good too...Thank you..

so where does the cable box output go to? I have a new Vizio tv that does not have rca jacks In order to watch tv I have to keep the vcr.dvd combo on if I use the coax cable
