In this video, I show my updated process for using a shorter 55 1/8 inch belt to bypass a bad Honda CRV AC compressor. I used a Gates K080545 8 rib belt. I then carefully used a utility knife with fresh blades to cleanly cut off one of the ribs to make it a 7 rib mivro-v belt that will fit the pulleys in a 2002-2006 Honda CRV. See other creator's videos on how to cut a rib off a micro-v belt. This belt is 3/4 inch shorter than the other belt in my previous video, and put the tensioner back at its factory tension.
