- In this video we show how to send video and audio from your Android phone to a TV or computer monitor via an HDMI cable. We also show that it is possible to simultaneously charge your phone as well as use multiple USB input devices (ie mouse, keyboard, etc.) while outputting HDMI. This effectively turns your Android phone into mini-computer. We attempt to replicate this functionality with an iPhone but show that the adaptor to enable this functionality is questionable and not trustworthy.

I watched some Videos Like yours trying different Adapters witch Work in thus Videos,now i find Out that my applince (Huawei p 1 smart and my aocwai Tablet) dont Support anything of this. So the only possibility ist to Cast with WLAN.

Yes thats possible with a USB C OTG CABLE, and a USB capture card, and then using software to read the USB capture card like the android app called Endoscope HD.

What type (name and brand) converter are you using to convert the signal from the USB-C cable to the HDMI cable? And where can it be purchased?
What about Wireless broadcasting to connect into a switcher using multiple cameras that are connected to a switcher that has a wireless output. That's going to be live stream into several broadcasting streams such as UA-cam and a few others will it work for that
I feel like im a lil savvy with mixing and matching cables but i will not lie, i have yet to succeed streaming to a monitor or pc with my moto g. I have tried hdmi, rgb, adjusting settings ect. Any suggestions? Do the linked compontes need to be on the same network? I feel like they shouldmlnt need to be. I just get no signal on allnsourves from 2 tvs. Are my tvs not provide enough resolution? Hotspot and tethering on...
What he forgets to mention is your phone must support audio and video out from c port. Such as "DP ALT mode".

Hi Christopher, I believe yours is a Samsung phone which supports MHL. Have you got any solution on how to do the same thing with a non-MHL phone please ?

What is MHL?
What phone are you using? I assume that phone has "DP Alt Mode" capability. Phones that do not have DP Alt Mode will require a Displaylink Adapter. Am I missing something?
Would this device work with a camcorder to connect to TV and watch videos and stills? Our cheap camcorder came with USB-C to USB cable to connect with PC. Camera has no HDMI output port.

u need to turn on otg mode in order to make the mouse work

If you would use audio jack cable for the audio, you can just use an RCA Audio Jack cable and connect it to the speaker and then just connect it to the headphone jack of the phone.

I bought exactly the same adapter seen in your video. The USB and charging work fine but the HDMI does not. It's a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Lite. Maybe the tablet needs configuration?

Yes, the head phone jack bypasses the audio out through hdmi just fine

I have the same converter hub, but it doesn't work with my Motorola Moto G7 Plus, with Android version 10. Do you have any idea why it's not working? (The HDMI cable works with my laptop, but the Android phone does not work.)
I think your phone needs to support video out through USB-C. That's what this "smart guy" should say first in the video.

Android Version 11 . Does NOT work either.

04:49 My man just ignored the Samsung DEX setup screen just for the screen mirror function. Dex is way better. You will get a desktop setup in your monitor with all the apps working. At the same time you can use the phone freely. Content of the samsung Dex screen (tv/monitor) is compketely different from your phone screen. So that you can use both phone and dex seperately.
Well, that's because he wanted to demonstrate it for any Android device, not just Samsung specific phones.

Yeah you need the phone to support the functionality. If your phone is not capable to transmit these hdmi signal out you will not be able to use it. If your phone has MHL function or in samsung case dex function you are good to go. Otherwise don't purchase the adaptor. It's waste of money.

I have a Zfold4 and a "9 in 1" USBC adapter. . . I had no issues with the picture but the sound is still being played through the phone. . . It's just so frustrating I don't even want to think about it . . .
