Winx and Zenyetta are half-sisters by their dad. Talent sure runs in that family!
What is the age difference between the two? I'm not familiar with horse racing, but had heard that Zenyetta was unusually large for a mare.

TVY2013 No, Winx only raced in Australia if i remember correctly and Zenyatta only raced in the USA. And yes, Zenyatta was unusually large for a mare, she was bigger than some of the boys in the stable.

Technically not half sisters. Only horses out of the same mare are considered half siblings. Winx’s record is significantly superior to that of Zenyatta.
B Gardiner Winx only ran in Grade 3 races tho, Zenyatta ran in both Grade 2 and Grade 1 races. If Winx would’ve raced in Grade 1 races, she would get beaten very fast, meaning Zenyatta has a bit more talent.

There's no other horse racing in the past 4 years who could beat them.

I have seen most of Winx"s Sydney races and she is the best I have seen in the flesh. Whether she could beat Enable who knows, Enable is an on paced runner whereas Winx is a finisher but who cares. All I can say if you are an Aussie and have even the slightest interest in horses you must see Winx live. The atmosphere is electric when she races. I have my doubts whether she will race again after the Cox plate so you may not have the chance, but who knows.

Two recent races in the UK have demonstrated quite clearly the difference between Winx's career and Enable's career.
The Eclipse where Enable beat Magical and the KGVI where Enable beat Crystal Ocean.
When Enable runs in a G1 there is always one or two genuinely, high class, consistent opponents.
Winx was a great horse and I think she'd beat Enable over 10f, especially on a flat track.
But the difference between their careers and legacies is what they race against.
Winx could run badly and her jockey could make huge mistakes and she'd still win because she was 8-10L better than her opposition every time. It made for boring racing which had to be artificially hyped up by the Australian media and race clubs.
Whereas Enable has to be near or close to her best and her jockey has to get it right every time because she runs against 1/2/3 genuinely high class opponents who will beat her if she gets it wrong.
Winx, Bowman and Waller never had to worry about that because Winx mostly ran against tree stumps.
But when a champion has a streak of races and a race named in her honour and 4 Cox plates in a row. She doesn’t choke when going for the threepeat 😂

Winx ran against a single high class horse twice, maybe three times in her life.
Never against multiple high class horses in one race and never against high class horses two, three, four races in a row.
That doesn't mean she wasn't a great racehorse.
Just means it was too easy for her and she had nothing to beat.
Her biggest achievement for me was just not getting absolutely bored with herself.
The Arc result actually proves my original point.
El Gran Senor yet none of those horses came to take her on. She didn’t have to prove anything. Beat Benbatl in a canter mate. Yet enable and your best horses get thrashed from the whip. Bowman shakes the reigns slightly and she’s already past whatever horse she’s against. You have no idea about horses.

It's harder in other countries because you might find the odd weak field in a group one but you'd never see it 22 times like you do in Australia.

Humidor no good ? Watch last year's Cox Plate again. He's a 3 x Grp1 winner who excels at 2000m on dry ground. He'd actually go very well in Europe in a 10f race with a pacemaker putting the speed on if he could get dry ground.

Let's hope he runs badly this week then he might be due for his once per campaign good run in the Cox Plate. If he runs well this week we're stuffed, I've never seen him put two good runs back to back.
His other Grp1 win was in the Makybe Diva Stks over a mile at Flemington on Sept 16 2017 where he beat Hartnell by 3 1/2 lengths. He;s the horse to beat in this weeks Caulfield Stakes.. What you need to understand is Humidor is a get back run on horse and we don't have pacemakers so sometimes the lack of pace in the first half of a race can bring him undone. He's a proper Grp1 horse on Good ground in a race with a genuine tempo
There won't be and the top overseas trainers don't want to take her on because they know it's a WOFTAM.

The Aussies complain that our horses didn't go and challenge her, they constantly said bring your horses here to challenge her, the rest of the world should send their horses to Australia to take her on.
Waller uttered some glib line about there being plenty of planes to Australia.
Well England Ireland and Japan did!
Coolmore, Godolphin and others and Japanese stables all sent horses halfway around the world to race her.
About 8 or 10 horses from overseas did go out there and race her.
But Winxs connections never had the respect and manners to do those overseas connections the honour of a rematch on their home turf.
Highland Reel and Benbatl travelled halfway round the world and took her on in her own backyard with all the odds stacked in her favour.
In 2017 when Winx was at her peak Highland Reel ran over 10f at Royal Ascot, where was Winx? Why didn't her owners return the favour to Highland Reel and give him a chance for a rematch on his home turf?
Or even in the USA on neutral ground.
Nuh Uh! If you took her on in her own backyard don't expect to get a rematch unless it was 100% on her terms where she had all the advantages and everything was stacked in her favour.
Pretty poor really.
Especially as the Japanese and Coolmore and Godolphin horses from overseas have been propping up their big carnivals for the past ten years.
Highland Reel especially should have been given that respect after he travelled to race her.

Even Gosden stated that Enable would get beaten by Winx if they raced over 2000 metres in Australia. IFHA ratings for both horses confirm Gosden's viewpoint. You need some objective facts, pal!

A horse doesn't have to travel to be considered great, or the best. I don't think Secretariat or Brigadier Gerard travelled internationally.
However, I do think they have to beat some real quality opposition at some point to be great, or the best.
I still don't think Winx has done that so despite how many races she wins or how fast she is timed to run there will always be something missing for me.
That's what disappoints me about Winxs connections. If she'd been running against Let's Elope or Vo Rogue or Might and Power in Australia then fine, she'd have proved herself, but given the poor quality she has been up against for three years I'd have wanted to travel her at some point to test her against something a little better.
So, what possible excuse not to go for the Pegasus Turf race?
The excuse makers on here claim she doesn't go to Europe due to the poor prizemoney, no such problem here, this race is richer than any Australian race and it's US$ so that's probably 20 million in Australian currency.
Perfect distance for her as well.
Frankel connections shied away from competing with Black Caviar when she came over and we know why , Frankel never had a sectional under 10s for 200m. Cracksman was invited to Australia in 2018 and did not show up. Why would that be ? Now the Brits retire him after being lightly raced, why would that be? We know why.

Winx just ran 1600m in 133.27 which equates to 133.81 for 8f. Thats 4.7 seconds quicker than Enable ever has been over 8f (her fastest was 138.52) - and is probably a margin of 80 metres!!!!!!!!!!. Winx has just done that as a 7 year old!!! In doing so she clocked up her 31st win in a row and her 23rd Group 1 win (a world record) ........so its probably time for you Enable fans to Ssshhhhhhhhhhh

Smarter racing people than you say Winx is the best ANYWHERE. The IFHA have her as the best. The chief handicappers from each of the world's premier racing jurisdictions including both the UK and the USA, make up the IFHA panel !! Of course you are certainly entitled to your opinion however some opinions carry more weight than others. Opinions carry more weight when they are backed up with factual evidence. A simple reading of Winx's formlines through multiple horses in different years shows where she sits. She's destroyed Highland Reel. He was a Grp1 winner in different countries before and after facing Winx. She's thrashed Hartnell 8 lengths in a Cox Plate. The start prior Hartnell was the easiest of winners of a Grp1 defeating Jameka who then went to the Grp1 Caulfield Cup and easily best Scottish by virtually the same margin who then went back to the UK and in the Grp1 Prince of Wales' Stakes was beaten 3 lengths by Highland Reel who then ran a close 2nd in the Arc and won the Grp1 Breeders Cup Turf and Scottish was 1.5 lengths behind Ulysses who then won the Grp1Juddmonte International at his next start. Winx's formlines are unquestionable. She has even beaten So You Think's track and race record twice in 2 of her 3 Cox Plate wins and he went to Europe and won 5 Grp1's. Like I said she can be lined up against multiple horses and every time she comes up smelling like roses.

There's a difference between acknowledging she is a genuine international group one quality horse which she clearly is and accepting that she would remain undefeated over a long period of time against the highest level international competition.
There's no doubt she would win plenty of group ones anywhere in the world.
Would she beat a Sea the Stars or a DubainMillenium or a Galileo or a Fantastic Light or a Golden Horn or a Frankel?
With all due respect the horses you've listed are not exactly the cream of European racing, they are moderate group one winners. There's no Guineas, Oaks or Derby winners in that list.
