Hi Dr.Dray, Karla here at 60 and fairly new to a consistent skincare routine am and Pm.
Is lactic acid good and safe to use under the eyes? And also: do you have a video on how to treat dehydrated under eyes? I use a peptide fueled moisturizer ( helps so so much) and of course sunscreen. I looked thru all of your videos but haven’t found one on how to treat dehydrated under eyes. Do you have one?
Also would you mind doing a tutorial showing how you apply your skincare products( full routine?
Thank you 🙏 so much for your dedication to all of us and to your U~Tube channel.
      May God Bless You daily.

@@karlaharvey2623 I know this reply is somewhat late, however lactic acid is not recommended to be used in the area around the eyes seeing as it can irritate it. It is also recommended more for night use but if you plan on using it during the day then sunscreen is neccessary. If at first your skin is irritated by it, you can mix it with your moisturizer to build your tolerance against it.

Hey, Dr Dray. I just wanted to say that I followed your advice on sunscreen and bought LA Roche-Posay antihelios SPF 50 and it doesn't sting my eyes. Everything stings my eyes, even micellar water, literally everything. So big Thank you! After watching many of your videos I bought a new skin care products (from cleancer to sunscreen) and so far I'm satisfied. It's day 1 so I can't say more than this, but I'm happy I found you and thanks to you I realized I'm taking care of my skin entirely wrong 😀 Also the Oat Cleansing balm is amazing. I have dry to combination skin (oily t zone, dry everywhere else, pink skin on my cheeks, rosacea maybe) and my skin feels really soft and hydrated. Thank you! You're the real deal!

Many years ago, my mother suffered from severe widespread skin allergies. Large areas of her skin were raw. At the time, it was a big deal to see a dermatologist, but the one she saw advised her to wrap the affected areas in gauze soaked in nonfat dry milk, and it worked. I've been a believer ever since.

As 44 years old woman who lives in most humid & tropical island in Bali, I finally dare to use Retinoic acid, lactic acid and of course Sunscreen. In fact I've been using these for the last 1 year since pandemic. You truly become my skincare guru and my most favorites dermatologist. I learn lots of new things & knowledge about skin because of you, even my dermatologist here in Bali quiet impressed with my knowledge 😁. Unfortunately using sunscreen in Bali is not yet so popular yet as most assume this more for westerner skin 😂. Ive been using Am Lactin lotion 12% and it has done wonders for my KP arms. For the first time since I was a kid, I have smooth arms! I still have hyperpigmentation from having those bumps for most of my life, but im just overjoyed to finally have soft, smooth arms.

Can you use Maelove Glowmaker and The Ordinary 5% Lactic Acid in the morning prior to your moisturizer?

I use the ordinary's lactic acid and I pair it with hyaluronic acid. I found it a good combo since it has it already.

I was using the TO lactic acid in 5% and it didn't give me any irritation whatsoever. So I was careless when I tried the 10% one, and I definitely had a little bit of irritiation thoughout the next day. I think I might've put too much on though

Just curious if you’ve tried the Japanese brand Fancl? What do you think of preservative-free skincare?

DR. DRAY, I have never used lactic acid. Why do some doctors say to use it only twice a week? Also, do I use it before or after my regular skincare products -- toner, moisturizer, and retinol at night? Thank you.

I’ve been gluing tips and fiberglass wraps on my nails all summer because I ruined them moving . But I hate fake nails even these are not thin enough for me to properly work. I’m going to soak them off and try the lactic acid because I have tried good nail oils and it just works for a few minutes and wipes off

Hello. If you use a Lactic acid product in your morning skincare, will it be applied before or after your Vitamin C?

Been using the Ordinarys Lactic acid about 4-5 days a week on my bum’s dark KP scar marks (they’ve been one of my biggest embarrassments, and I never thought they would go away without an expensive procedure) for the last 6 months and the scars are more than half faded! I also seal the lactic with a layer of cerave body cream and rotate a retinol 2-3 times a week.

Lactic acid like the ordinary one should be used before or after moisturizer? I see you use it before, but you always recommend acids go on top of moisturizer

Can I layer the ordinary’s lactic acid, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and naturium’s plant ceramide rich moisture cream as a skincare routine? I suffer from hyperpigmentation.
