    It’s been awhile I know Thomas Yap after watching their Q&A every Monday. This is the first time I am watching his review of cars. I like his style. Very natural and he does share point of view from a regular driver. Well done. Will lookout for more in future.

    I suppose whether or not a car is premium depends on what you find premium. To me the range, power, good infotainment, nice interior materials, supercharger network are all considered premium. Owned a Tesla for 4 years now, not once did I felt like it needed more buttons 😂. But if you need buttons for it to be ‘premium’ then you indeed need to look elsewhere, but most likely you’ll be either paying more or downgrading in other aspects (range, power, no one pedal driving, no supercharger network etc.)

      Interesting on his shallow judgement: no buttons = not premium. 🙏 Nokia has a lot of buttons. Iphone and Galaxy are more expensive though. These people talked like all the car functions and controls still work as normal by just removing physical buttons. It costs a lot of money and brain to make everything controlled electronically too. And with controlling electronically comes the possibility of controlling the car over telecommunications. Like smartphone, there are more possibilities without relying on physical buttons

      Tesla's design is a very smart one IMO. With the absence of all the buttons, they have WAY LESS items to worry on the assembly. Reducing parts to just the dash with AC vents, Infotainment and Steering Rack.
      This probably reduced the cost of manufacturing, but possibly increase the speed of it rolling out the factory too.
      The end result... people get to enjoy the Tesla Model 3 at a more competitive cost.
      Yes, it takes alot of brains and creativity to do what Tesla do. I especially applaud Tesla from being daring to push the boundaries of what cars should be. Big credits!
      And because of that. It is not immediately intuitive for the normal ICE drives and can put some off not having the familiarity in the cabin. But for most Tesla owners, they love how it's executed and they are typically happy and satisfied.

    I have a Model 3 Performance and it is the best daily car by far. Previously had F80 M3 and other performance ICE cars and they don't make sense as this performance EV especially when i can charge it for free at work and there are so many benefits that no other ICE cars can offer.

      Yeah despite a hardcore fan of ICE. The comfort levels of an EV with all its features especially Tesla.. it’s hard to not see all the upsides of having it as a daily.

      3 Series is more playful. Tesla is more planted and confident.

    The distance is not measured by the number of cars between you and the car in front, but by the time taken for your car to reach the car in front if it stops; 1 second, 2 seconds, 3 seconds and so on 15:57

    Model 3 performance is an enthusiastic car. Drift on track mode, punch, handling is great in track mode. Drive model 3 performance (upcoming highland upgrade). And give it a proper driving impression

    BTW, after you get use to it, one pedal driving is the best "feature" of EV's especially Tesla's as it is so refined.

    What was the complaint about the regen? It’s possible to set it how you like it. Low or standard and if you like it to hold roll or creep. It’s the concept of an electric car to regen the energy.

    Good review.
    Guess the Model 3 and Y aren't their premium range, its meant to be the mid range. Their premium would be the Model S or X, think they aren't bring that into the msia market.

    Well, you should have learned all the features before given an opinion about the product. Can hear that your understanding about electrical cars are non existing like most people. Hope you will get a deeper long term test and understanding of this product. ❤

      Thanks. With an hour with the car, this is as much Impromptu testing I can do. And yes, I hardly drive any electric cars, own sports cars and classics. This is new territory for me. Thanks for the feedback!

      I disagree. There are plenty of TM3 Highland reviews on YT by seasoned reviewers from EV-dedicated or focused channels. I actually find it refreshing to watch a review by an experienced car reviewer who’s new to EVs and particular TeslaS, for his raw first take/impressions.

    You talk so much crap man. When you say "Tesla not premium", what do you even mean? Are we supposed to just know your critera? And who are you to flaunt your criteria in the first place?
    What is premium today is not what premium was yesterday. All the features that Tesla cars offer that no other car brand does: the range, the supercharger availability around the world, the performance, the over the air updates at the convenience of your home etc....just because there isn't an analog Rolex clock installed in the dashboard, a Tesla car isn't premium??

      Handling is competent. You can push it around with confidence. But I wouldn’t say it’s great.
