You are able to upgrade to full self driving later. Its a monthly cost or you can go in and pay for a one time cost like you did there. I would not recommend full self driving personally. You get basic autopilot for free and it works great for me. The difference for full self driving isn't worth the cost for now. As they update it, it will be better and you can get it then. I got full self driving for 3 months free with a referral and I stick to just the basic autopilot.

In the bucket list for sure. If you’re getting recon, you’re on your own with repairs and no warranty. If you’re ok with that then recon is not bad. Find a decent workshop you can trust. And do research on your car.
You don't choose any exterior and interior upgrades at all and you said the car doesn't look good. Autopilot can be added later and cannot transfer to other car. Thus, do not buy it at time of order
