Jess and I passed this house several times before deciding to stop and cut this OVERGROWN NIGHTMARE. While doing a walk through we noticed the backdoor was open and the house and been ransacked and possibly lived in by squatters. We kept waiting for someone to come and confront us but thankfully no one did. On top of that we had multiple issues with our equipment and we struggled to finish the job.
I decided to make some changes to the original video to remove our talking points and showcase the work we performed on this property without those interruptions.

I love the way you use the string trimmer before using the edger! Why push the edger through really thick grass if you don’t need to! Great job as usual! 🎉
It’s way harder with the edger first , trimmer to clean,edge to set the lines.

That is awesome, really wish some of that fence line could have been cleaned up, But I am sure that person and the neighbors are so appreciative of the yard being cut, whatever there circumstance is you just made it a little better for them.

1:53, quite obviously, this is a neatly kept area. Your work to help on the property will do a lot to upgrade the neighborhood. Someone told me that a rund-down place actually make a sizeable drop in surrounding homes values, so, an additional reason to reach out and reduce things as rodents, bugs, and trim for neatness when we see someone or a place struggling. That looked to be a corner lot and a long stretch of land. The amount of people driving by indicates your work will be noticed. 5:27. that little bit of edging near the front door looks sharp. 9:27, looks like you brought the front up to neighborhood standards already. Sorry the belt broke but you did have a Trimmer, which can trim, edge, prune, etc. and get things done. That was a nice cleanup.

I just started watching your channel. You do good work, would like to see you do more tree/bush trimming. Not sure where you are in US, a lot of cities will pick up brush at certain times if it’s too costly for you to take to a dumping site.
Dump site is super cheap. On this house we neglected the bushes honestly. Check out some other videos we definitely do some good tree removals.

You’re the second lawn guy to have to finish up with the string trimmer because the lawnmower broke this week alone, must be a bad week for Lawn jobs. L O L. 1st time watching you, looks nice but my favorite part is trimming up bushes of course but more trimming up the bottom the trees so you can see the landscape underneath the trees better. 👍🏻👍🏻
When we were editing the footage my girlfriend and I both said we should have done more with the trees and shrubs. We look to do better in future videos.

Check your auto parts store for belts. Usually a good price.

We bought a belt from our local toro dealer.
Looks like a nice neighborhood. Did you ask any neighbor if they knew anything about the people that lived there?
I did, a mother and son were living here until she passed. The house has sat empty since.
Damn man, sorry about the belt. I hope it's not too crazy. You did a fantastic job on the yards. 😄👍 I missed it, but where was the person spying on you guys? Did they peek through the blinds at a certain point? Squatters make jobs sketchy enough, the ones who peek like tweekers make it worse.
The back door was open to the house and there were a couple of times it seemed like someone was looking through the windows 😳

Wow! Did you do this without permission? Definitely not a good look.
You need to slow down your videos, they are not enjoyable to watch. They are to fast makes me dizzy.
I enjoy yard transformations but this one was a little too fast.
If it helps I believe you can adjust the playback speed. These are condensed sped up versions of the original.
It would have been a nightmare if you had done it right. Left the grass on the ground, bushes unattended, way too fast a video. Jayys Halfassed Lawn Obsession is what I saw. Sorry about the deck belt but don't you do this for a living. What about a catcher for the mower. There are considerations to be made.
