- Jess and I were driving around when we spotted this overgrown YARD, not long into the transformation we kept seeing these two guys with hunting knives circling the block on bikes and checking out all of our stuff so we decided to divide and conquer the yard so we could keep a better eye on our stuff and get the job done faster so we could get out of there. If you were wondering both the front and side gate both had locks on them. We hope you like the finished product and the before and after pictures.

I'm a 73 year old great granny. I've finally retired a year ago. My crochet,quilting,knitting, Journaling and any other handwork you might think of I probably do. So actually I listen to audio books I get on line from the library while enjoying my crafts finally. Have a wonderful blessed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
You two did a great job on this lawn. Jess has really gotten good with the equipment. She maneuvers that mower real good. You two be very careful out there, if you feel uneasy about people, don’t risk your safety for a lawn.
I’m like Jess, I binge watch TV shows or movies, I enjoy reading, and love watching the birds at my feeders. 😊
I am all for the small business guy! I did long hair and landscaping for well over 40 years. Pretty much by myself. I'm 51 years now and disabled and can no longer do it! But through you and your fellow UA-cam counterparts such as the big names. I am all for watching lawn care practices for the rest of my days LO. L! I am subscribing and I will be a new follower. Great job on the yard. That house had some addition work done to it once upon a time some decages ago.
And yes, it's totally believable concerning the two jokers. They saw the camera tripods and knew to stay out of sight. It's a relief they didn't try anything upclose! We have creepy questionable people show up all the time at our work place. Some of them give off negative vibes.. (or you can just sense something about a person that makes you want to grow a set of 360 view eyes).
It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to set up a few cameras inside of the truck, recording the back bed.. and/or where you're both working.
We understand about the lack of content due to the seasons changing and lack of rain. Hope youl stay safe!
I would have reported the two guys. They probably wanted in the house. The neighbors were at risk on going.....

I actually like working in the yard in the cold. I'll piddle around cleaning out beds and picking up leaves and limbs. Stuff like that.
Decorate the yard for Thanksgiving then Christmas and Easter. Then back to planting and regular yardwork.

Great job you two! I saw on one UA-cam channel this man take something from another lawn care UA-camr. He walked past and then turned around and grab something. That’s pretty sad. I love to read and do puzzles during our winters, plus some crafting. I might even clean the house.

Wow, what a difference you made, especially with the edging! I live on a farm so there's still stuff to do outside, even when it's cold. But I will probably binge lots of UA-cam when winter really arrives.
Leaf blowers. Snow machine clearing. Work in garage rebuilding your equipment and ones that were at abandoned houses, you could also get the equipment the owners could not use or had abandoned in their yards, selling some and returning for free to owners who need to start again. Repair is interesting too.

I was thinking maybe those two guys were not checking out your equipment but perhaps that had found a way into that house (the pathway was made by someone) and were planning on spending the winter there. They came home only to find they could not sneak into there because you were there? It is good to see you pop in again. I crochet all year round and in the winter is when I can make blankets 😆 I like to game as well. Mostly Guild Wars or Final Fantasy. See you next time! P.S. Jess is getting so skilled!❤

I start deep cleaning the house from upstairs to basement when the weather turns cold. Every drawer, closet, and cupboard.

Great video! In the off-season in Oklahoma, I try to do tree work periodically. Usually people have limbs fall with all the fall & winter winds. Need to have a place to dump them or consider making it to firewood & selling it.

Hey, remember, the criminals are paranoid, and you have cameras spaced out. They're not outin' homeless clothes for just any thing . If they wanted your stuff and they would just take it. The cameras kept them un easy. Please becareful. Eric on his show had gunshots about.

I love yardwork and have subscribed to several channels about yardwork and transformations. Love the attention to detail and how down to earth you both are very relatable.
Keep up the good work and helping so many in need. It's shocking how many people let their yards become a jungle and eyesore. I am sure there are many reasons why this happens to people unfortunately and thank you for being a difference and not just thinking it's not my problem attitude.
I have helped many people with their yards as well and at times I have needed help for various reasons usually health reasons in my case and money issues that I couldn't pay someone to do my yard.

Another mower i follow has already resubmitted a video he did 2 years ago. He has many newer viewers that hadn't seen that one before. May be next year you can make some videos and just hold them to be released in the winter time.

Yes, most of these guys have no problem with walking up and taking your equipment out of the driveway while you’re working in the backyard. It happens all the time, so I imagine they wouldn’t have any problem taking it off your truck either. It really helps to not leave any of it unattended. And don’t ever forget, if you feel unsafe, you can always call the cops and report them as suspicious persons. Unless you’re in a really large metropolitan area, you should get a pretty timely response, especially if you report that they’re carrying weapons. But it all depends on where you are. I saw a video a couple of weeks ago of a guy that the cops were arresting, and they were kind of wrestling with him, and while everybody was busy with that, two different guys came by, one stole the guy‘s bicycle, and the other one stole his backpack. Both which were laying on the side of the road, pretty close to where he and the cop we’re fighting! So yeah, thieves are bold nowadays!

Watch a few of you that do the yard transfermation. Ya'll should consider another camera pointed at rig at all times. Put it in a place where its not noticed.

I assume the house is empty. The homeless guys may have been occupying the house at night and kept walking by thinking one of you or both bought the home to renovate and resell and started with the yard first. Probably wondering if they were going to have a place to sleep that night! Nice job, guys! Looks wonderful now and lived in!

Hi we have a lawn care, we live in IN. When it stops growing we hook up are 5 th wheel and go to Florida for the winter and go back home in April get ready for mowing. 🏝🏝

This is an idea to keep a eye on your equipment , get a couple of those recording cameras on both truck and trailer when your eyes are not close on your stuff , it's better than not having no surcurity watch . Viewing from Detroit Michigan USA 🇺🇸 . God bless your service .
We will have to look into that. We usually just lock up our equipment.
I am fortunate, the long, cold, dark winter months are when I like to read, even write fiction stories, paint Bob Ross style oil paintings and build scale model cars and trucks, even the dioramas where I can photograph them. I try hard to stay busy, because the winter months get me down. I did away with television. Tired of paying exorbitant fees to be lied to and indoctrinated. My wife died last year, so I delight in staying busy.
