- I pass this yard on my way home and everyday it bothers me to see it this out of control and neglected. So after numerous attempts of reaching out to the homeowner/renter, I take a chance and clean it up while they are gone, leaving them with a nice TRANSFORMED yard to come home to.

A lot of people use grass clippings for compost and winter bedding for their gardens, see if anyone close to you composts, you need a good mix of stuff for compost and grass clippings are great

The nurses will love you for this if you can't always bag try mulching as much as possible I'm sure the client's woulnt mind once in a while especially the ones for free
Nice job .I don’t understand why these communities do not have lawn waste, pick up along with their normal garbage pick up.
Where I live they do , but on some of these jobs it will fill up both my cans leaving me no room for regular garbage
Awesome job done even if you didn't bag it up I'm sure that the owners would appreciate it! You could also leave a note or business card so that they would know who did the work for them. Then maybe you'd get a callback for further business.

I would not worry about picking up the grass clippings from what i seen from other vids .. your very thorough . what is that you have around your neck that u wear ? im all about staying cool ...
Picking up the grass is possible on some but not on all of ‘em. The thing around the neck is a cold snap towel. I dip it in my ice chest and it holds water to help keep me from getting to hot.

Question Just curious I guess, and I have watched a bazillion of these type of videos. And I love lawn care, but why don't all of you weed eat / trim everything first, then do the edging? That way all the cut grass from trimming and edging is laying in the yard so when you use the zero turns if chops it all up. I guess I would think it would be easier and less clean up. Keep up the great work, you guys are amazing in your transformations.

Why don't you use the lawn mower first? It seems like you do a lot of extra work.
I realize you're doing this for free and I commend you for it. But given the extra time required to repeatedly re-mow sections of the lawn to pulverize the clippings into submission, only to then have to use the leaf blower to push them out to the curb and rake them up after already raking up the sidewalk and road crack weeds, why not use a vacuum attachment on your tractor to remove the clippings in about half the time? Yeah, you'll need more trash bins, but I suspect you'll save $$$, fuel and wear and tear on your equipment to more than make up for it - plus, you might find yourself spending less time on properties like these. Where am I wrong? Again, the surrounding homeowners owe you a debt of gratitude for helping improve the neighborhood's appearance.
