I’m having a “no spark” issue. What year is this bike? The wires from the crank position sensor on my 2002 super glide run down the bottom right side of the frame (in a protective sleeve), up under the seat, and over to the left side and go into the grey plug on the ignition module. Why does yours seem so much easier?
There should be a connector under the cam cove or just past it along the frame. It's been awhile sense I worked on a 02 they didn't have cam sensors like mine so the crank sensor has it's own connector. It might be just inside the protective sleeve making it hard to find.
I’m having this same issue. Can’t locate the text points. Does seem that there are any connectors between where the sensor clips in and up to the seat.
05 roadking code says ckp, but that's not the problem, cold starts, runs fine, 20 miles out shuts down won't restart, recharge bat, rinse repeat, P0373 code.
@DeathProofProductions only if I drain it trying to restart, get it home, put it on the charger, when it's cold, starts runs fine, tested battery, it's fine. Last time, tried to wait, but bad spot, too many attempts to restart, towed home, 15 min, warm up, 16 mile test ride, brought it home in a truck, two new ckp Sensors, same code.
Your video sucks. You didn't show the hardest part. Finding the connector is the most challenging part, but I guess its too hard to video, so why bother.
That was one of our first video's we didn't have a small enough camara to get low enough to show it's right under the crank case. That's why I showed it with it already pulled up into the light. It's a learning curve but we have better equipment know so I might do it again. Thanks for the comment it helps us improve on the content.
Yep after days of "whats going on" i switched this out and Bingo. Started right up.
Great content thanks. Got a '99 fxdl and just like to know before I need to know.
Thanks for the compliment

@@DeathProofProductions On my 01 Road king same issue, so I cut the wires and solder the new one's to the old just right of the oil filter.
Thank you for sharing now it's my turn I'm waiting on parts to get mine running again. Light and subscribe looking forward to seeing you other videos
thanks bro

Do you have to recharge battery before it restarts.

Long warming to try and recreate problem,
most of the time when I see a electric problem from heat it's the coil, breaking down from the heat. have you ohmed the coil.
My 2009 dyna fxd turns over but won’t start could this be the problem?
Yes
What should a good crank sensor ohm at?
Sorry for delayed response been traveling. More than 1 megaohm.
So the sensor is bad as soon as the bike heats up, and it cuts out?
If the sensor is bad the bike will not start.
@@DeathProofProductions thanx for replying so fast,
I have electra classic ultra 1996 not have spark can be de sensor crank to
The evolution motor used a integrated ignition module with a cam sensor in the nose cone. Do you have voltage at the coil.
I put a new coil not working but not spack
I going to check the sensor
do you have a multi-meter to check the resistance for the sensor and the module.
Yes I check de sensor. I don't any signal from the crank sensor .not have 12 voltage.
