  • Chrome vinyl is always a challenge. This type of vinyl wrap is vulnerable to permanent damage if the film is either creased, heated or stretched even slightly too much and it will not recover. It is also very limiting in how much you can stretch it. Learn how to wrap a door by using this video to show you techniques.

I need to get into a class soon before spring in BC. id like to learn about post heating. stretching over corners and how much extra heat radius can help with getting less fade/colour loss. I see ppl using torches and curious of the post work and finishing tips. got some vvivid on the way to practice

Hi I'm new to your channel I learned a lot. I like your channel you do some awesome work. Can you show us a very good close up when you cut the vinyl let say between the hood and the fenders. Do you leave a bit on the edge or do you cut right at the edge then use the heat gun to place it. (seal it).

As installers we will usually notice the really small details which are commonly not seen by untrained eyes. Letting the customer know that certain films have greater limitations will show them that you're knowledgeable. It's never a good thing to pretend that something will be better than it is. Most people appreciate the honesty and it gives them the opportunity to make a sound decision.

With this type of film you really want to avoid stretching from a point on the inside of the panel that's being wrapped due to getting a line in the film. It's better to pull it tightly across as a whole to try avoiding any lines or marks in the film

Can you do a whole video on CLEANING? IT seems to me that 80% of wrapping is cleaning, but you only show the final clean with isopropyl. This is so important, and it needs to be done systematically. Wrapping itself is a doddle compared to cleaning. I mean I guess you have guys that do that, but most of us dont have that luxury.
