Good job man. Practice makes perfect. Now that you have done one car. The next will be a lot easier. I’ve changed the color of mine four times. Looks dope!!!
Great job! I wrapped my car last year and you are right, it's not easy. I've talked to a few people that have tried and got frustrated and quit. It's so worth it to keep going when you are able to stand back and look at the finished product.
@@hfdewees well put my friend! I was definitely pulling my hair at some points. I wasn’t guna let no damn vinyl get the best of me😤 lol. Great feeling finishing a long project tho
Good job bud! Ive been building a 76 Corvette Stingray and plan to wrap it myself. Been soaking up as much info that I can. Keep at it! Best thing about the wrap, yeah it may take some time to do, but its cheaper than a paint job and you can change your look to anything you want!. Dont like it.. rip it off and do a diff color/style!
Thank you, I appreciate it! My dad is currently restoring his 66’ Pontiac GTO and it’s coming along nice! Wrapping is definitely a great skill to have. Was not easy but after doing it picked up some techniques to make it easier the next time around
Great job and good feedback. I'm in the same process, considering paying for a e day course almost $900 . Should I or should I just keep learning hands on.
@@angelalba8496 I personally like to exhaust all my resources through youtube before buying any courses. The real way to learn is doing it hands on. It was tough at first but along the way started picking up some techniques, I would give it a go first and then decide if you need the course but I had no prior experience so I think anyone can do it
You did great. I felt the same frustration you did trying to finish my first wrap on a Gen 2 Volt. I used to own a few window tinting companies, many years ago, so I had the concept of wrap pretty well down. Are you ready to do another one or are you done?
Yeah Im ready for another. I personally like doing these kind of projects. The only issue I had was getting the proper space to be efficient. It definitely demands a ton of patience and precision!
Thank you, I appreciated it! The actual handles were kinda tricky, just heated it and tried to get as much on in one go and just heat and work around the corners
Looks good but Your first mistake was using vivvid.. majority of the people in the wrap groups hate vivvid. Avery is by far the easiest brand to use for beginners, 3m, and kpmf are also good. I wrapped my genny in avery radioactive green. Looked so good. Lasted 3.5 years before I removed it due to blck spots showing up all over it. Wasent perfect by any means but not bad at all for my first time.
Yeah I agree so far not a good experience with vivvid. This roovny one was definitely a lot easier to work with and is holding up well so far! We’ll see how it holds in the summer
The wrap is holding up great, no bubbling or peeling. Just had sole hot days in the sun and no issues. Just take the time to prep and clean off any dirt and you’ll be good.
Dude first time or not, it looks great! And much respect to your girl for letting you use the garage. Wrapping outside is a pain in the a$$.
Yeah shoutout to her! I pretty much picked the windiest days to wrap. I was throwing F bombs every other minute lol
I think you did an awesome job man good ish 🤙
I appreciate it brotha!
i do some wrapping i would recommend wrap glove and solution you spray on the vinyl so the squeegee glides over
Thanks for the tips. I didn’t realize how useful the glove was till the end of my wrap. I was struggling with the squeegee lol
Good job young buck. You created a goal and you nailed it. Much respect
Thank you! Definitely felt good to finish the project. On to the next one!

Thank you, I have a lot more respect for the trade! Got a couple more projects to do so looking forward to starting those.
just gave me confidence to wrap mine
Do it brotha! Just take your time with prep and get a friend to help with the bumpers and you’ll be solid.
I did my own as well and it is not an easy job. You did amazing!
Thank you!
Props my man, came out pretty fkin good 👍🏻
I appreciate it brotha, I now see why wrap shop prices are the way they are. A lot of work that goes into wrapping!

It looks great! there's tons of resources you should check out, a few videos would have had you avoid all of your mistakes, keep up the grind king!

Ditto what the other dude/comment said...I'm at your video because...I got next😅 good job for 1st timer!!! How's it holding up?
Man this car sounds like it's been through hell. At least you are trying to get it back right.
Haha it adds character!
How did you wrap your door pulls?! Beautiful work!
Ha...I didn't realize that you would answer my question.

how much wrap did you use for the whole car
I used 49ft of wrap
Looks amazing man! How many hours did it take total?
@@mickeyrietveld9249 not sure exactly but i would say about 28-35 hours total depending on how much trim and prep needs to be done
Can I ask the dimension of the roll you got brother? Planning to wrap my genesis as well. Thanks!
I got the 5x49ft roll. Should be more than enough. Ravoonys website also has the recommended dimensions for coupes and sedans
How long did the wrap take to arrive??
@@Brys4n took about 4-5 days for me to
I Fw This Bro!
Thank you brotha!
