Ive watchrd these videos for 5 months. Im slowly teaching myself, alot of this is like cake decorating. Your pro tips are exactly what ive learned from teaching myself. Trunk gave me issues, exactly what you said. Awesome.
Flawless as always. Good job. As most amateurs we will mess up, it happens! Can you make a video on common mistakes and pro techniques on how to fix them? Thanks for the video!
the K in CK WRAPS in my opinion stands for KING . CKING ot Wraps do his thing. THE best wrapper on UA-cam. Just watch 10 of his videos on UA-cam and your 1st TIME doing a wrap yourself, and you will have all the basic knowledge to produce at decent wrap job. speaking from experience, I began wrapi'n everything in sight. I've wrap'd a Post, a Porcelain Figurine , a Nefertiti Head Bust, a door handle, what else..........Oh, and The swing arm of a pocket bike and front and rear rims, using in-lays. Had it Chromed it out to look like a Hyabusa. THANK YOU, C.K.!!
Hey Casey you have helped me SO MUCH with my wrap the trunk, mirrors, and handles all failed. Only lasted 3 months every other panel is perfect and I couldn’t have done it without you thanks from everyone and keep up with the videos I watch you daily and thank you for being the ONLY good influencer with these types of videos
This is one of the best instructional videos i have seen you do (I like all of them). But the talk through along with the excellent cameraman shots made this one extra useful. I feel i could wrap a trunk lid after watching this (I probably couldn't but i 'feel' like i could).
So nice Bro 👍🏼 I’m planning to wrap my Nissan Versa trunk in one piece but I think as a first timer it’s not easy as you’re doing, so I’m trying to watch more of your videos I’m interested to learn, you’re doing nice job Bro 😎 👍🏼
Christian, another fantastic wrap. I'm not a green person, but that wrap is amazing. Great camera work. In watching your videos I'm going to do my first wrap to my Nissan Z when this weather breaks and we get into the 70's. I have just about all of the right tools, just waiting on two more items. I haven't decided on a wrap yet. My is black, so I'm covering a good color for a first wrap. It's possible now because I have watched your videos for a straight 6 months. I want to thank you so much. Cudos to the camera person. My best, Scott
superb ! all videos are so cool . done my WRX for first time. helps allot . gonna do it again, just for learn do it for perfection . you keep me going !!!!
Thank you for talking about horizontal and vertical wrinkles. Can you explain what causes the vertical wrinkles? I've got some more learning to do but that helps a lot.
@@mossytariq4815 if you’re serious about learning to wrap it’s a great starter. They use Hexis film, so it’s right into the deep end. Hexis is a thicker film that’s pressure sensitive, so it’s a learning curve.
It is satisfying to watch this, looking really good. About your comment on the Lexus RC's trunk. Only the RC F trunk would be different (which has a spoiler lifting out of the trunk lid). All others will be the same (the small spoiler is optional).
Someone get this man a 🍺 beer!! He’ll yeah Christian another awesome video as usually!!! I had this issue on my girls car so I didn’t wrap it in 1 piece. but after watching this I should be able to do it in 1 piece!!! This will be my weekend project coming up Props the camera 🎥 person !! If it’s your wife again thank you 🙏 👍🏼
Would be interesting to see how you assess how much wrap you have to order to do any given car. Also do you order a percentage of extra Length for unforeseen errors in certain type of bumpers etc.
I just finished my first wrap on my sunroof. I got to admit it was not the easiest to do. I guess Vvivid vinyl is not for beginners but I still managed to pull it off with minimal errors. It doesn't look the best but I think I did ok. The hardest part for me was the "glassing". I guess it was because the wrap was thick and it was my first time wrapping. Any more tips on vinyl wrap that are more thick than avery? I am still experimenting with this. I have the Vvivid matte black. Some advice would be nice.
so am i asking for a shit storm by wrapping my civic in teckwrap neo chrome? for my first attempt at wrapping my car haha. I did qtr panel and came out great
Really love that color, and it's a very good technique to get finished the rear of the car. Wich brand of vinyl is that? I apreciate so much your vids and work! Thanks for it!.
Could anybody answer this im going to wrap my trunk . but i will be drilling holes in my trunk for cb radio and gps police wifi antennas . will it screw up the vinyl if I drill through?
Great Videos, Thank you. I'm a RETIRED NEON bender in the sign business 40 yrs, Only 12 years in Vinyl when I sold my stores and Retired. I have been doing Carbon Fiber for myself on my Chopper Trike & Corvette and would like to ask you a question ? I wish to do the removable top on my Corvette + - 26" X + - 50" , I tried once already and threw my hands in the air and said FORGET IT!!!! I burnt a hole through with heat gun. Plus the Company I bought it from on EBAY sent it to me in a crumbled up ball. Should I spray the top with SOAPY WATER? first? and really D4 is a good match to the rear spoiler, I'm also doing the wheel well flares. Is there any advise you can teach an old dog? LOLThanks BuddySteve
I just don't fucking get how he squeegees the film so easily. Even if I have the panel glassed, it seems to bunch up on itself. Is Avery just that much easier to work with than 3M?
Bro you are the Tom Brady of wraps. You are the best, but you know it. I can’t stop watching you, and you love it. I continue to learn from you, but my God you’re Annoying. With that said I’ll continue to respect you’re craft and thumbs up your videos -faithful subscriber
Nice but just one question , when will we ever going to see your wife help you out on a wrap ? It will be great to see you guys working together!!*****
Hi Christian. I love your videos. I know this is an older video, but on the lower area of the trunk, would you use one piece to wrap? Or would you lay an inlay on the top area of where the license plate goes. Thanks
Am I the only one who realized that this is not wrapping the trunk in one piece? He clearly only did half the trunk. So, its how to wrap your trunk in 2 pieces. Or how to wrap half your trunk.
Who ever gave you that 1 thumb down is a fucking hater!!! Who is jealous that they couldn’t wrap the exact same car in 1 piece!! So they feel stupid!! Then again even haters are subscribe because they wanna hate, and then practice your technique on there car or customer cars.
Honestly the best technique and method for wrap installers, beginner or professional. Thanks for helping us all out christian.
I have no intention of wrapping my car, but watching you do it is enjoyable. You're a master of your craft. Thanks for sharing.

im starting to wrap my RC-350 and this video saved me such a headache as to how to tackle the trunk
The color is similar to the Dodges F8 Green

You make it look so easy😊, good job!
Fantastic video once again CK. Your videos have inspired me to do a 5 day extensive wrap course here in Australia as I look to change careers.
Where did you do the course? I'm in Aus too and looking for a good wrap course. Cheers

Great addition of a person with the camera Christian! Awesome video brother
Carmen Sanchez
Yeah. I noticed the nice camera work too
I’m going to try to wrap my 370z roadster trunk lid with this video. thankfully no hard body lines to work with.
I've learned so much from your videos! Thanks for sharing your techniques.
This video amazed my mind 🤯 I’m understanding glassing more… going to try this out. What material was this?

If it has air release then it'll be a dry install. Soap and water will dilute the adhesive. Try a better brand of vinyl like Avery
Thanks brother
Would the BMW csl trunks be too aggressive for this?

Hi Christian. I love your videos. I know this is an older video, but on the lower area of the trunk, would you use one piece to wrap? Or would you lay an inlay on the top area of where the license plate goes. Thanks
I use a separate piece of vinyl for the lower half of trunks like this where there is an indentation at the taillights which goes all the way across
omg what colour is that??
Vivid CK Wraps signature color - Midnight Sun
Whats the real color of the wrap?
This color is called Midnight Sun. Only 8 rolls were made and it's currently sold out
Anyone see them air bubbles on 26:09
