Please watch some reviews on the new WLMOUSE Beast X Mini before buying it - not only is it noticeably more narrow than even a Finalmouse small, but also is there a lot of drama currently surrounding them. Quality so far also seems to have degraded on this new version so far. Corrections: - stock unit is up to 2 g less than what was weighed and displayed on my scale, depending on the skates that are installed - the scroll wheel isn't metal, but polycarbonate - although not specified by Finalmouse, their initial 29 g announcement was intended for the small model
I had this realization that everything lighter than 40g feels like a toy to me, and not in a good way. Somehow I’ve found myself back at a Vaxee or Zowie with smooth skates.
i mean the battery life is lightyears better on finalmouse than gwolves and their motion and click latency even beats razers. Honestly the only thing lacking about the mouse is build quality and qc and asidfe from that its prob the best mouse on the market weight and spec wise@@whoisthatthingwhat

from the looks of it its way wider and has flatter sides so wouldnt really call it a clone. its like a x2 mini with the starlight 12s middle hump and click design@@jakeufps

Having bought 2 ULX (still awaiting my cheetah) and loving the Lion I have received, this video still makes a lot of sense and is a tough pill to swallow but I can't lie I do love my ULX. It's just lovely. But this vid does have me itching to try the HTX and particularly the WLBeast mini with the cool colour range they have.
why so aggresive towards browser man? everything was chill and then 'freaking browser with this fucking window' outta nowhere, browser did nothing wrong....
Even if this was the only option, there are 3 things I find unacceptable for the price: -The sticky surface on the bottom, yours started to pick up dirt and grime, I saw way worse in other reviews. -Not color matching the internals. I like to see inside my tech, but if the focus is to make the mouse basically seethorugh with a custom design on the outside, make the inside match. Especially that white wire is disgusting. -Not having a proper DPI slider in the SW. The web based GUI is great, but why can I only choose from 5 preset values (unless those can be customized). I prefer my mice around 4200-4500 dpi, that alone would be a dealbreaker. And it's not an issue with a mouse at 10th of the price.

Why should I compromise on this with a 200 dollar mouse when everywhere else it's a basic feature? 3200 is too little dor my setup, 6400 is too much, simple as that. The other options like 400, 800 and even the 1600 are joke to 99% of the people on a modern mouse on high res monitors.
@@sandorbence2067 400, 800, 1600, and 3200 are standard dpis. Majority of players use 400-1600 dpi. Anyone in pro scene uses those dpis besides 3200. They are the standard dpis. Why would anyone need to play at a wacky number when its been proven by pro players that the standard dpis are the most effective dpis to use
@@arc4863 Why should I stick to standard dpis? They are great for testing and comparing mice, ans if the pros like them, so be it. For me something like 1600 and smaller is way too slow for work, general use or even gaming. 3200 is better but still slow with mouse acceleration turned off. I have a high res ultrawide, oftentimes paired with a high res laptop, in work, I use high res monitors. Dragging the mouse through that with low dpi would need an unreasonable desk area. And for a top end mouse I expect to tailor it to my needs. Just like using grip tape (though I don't like that) or soldiering in different switches for a different feel. It's like you'd say I should use standard browns or reds in my keyboard with a qwerty layout because that's what everyone uses. A mouse is just like any tools on your desk and you should use the best tools suited for you.
Does your Side Buttons wobble a bit? I got Batch 1 ULX Lion and my side buttons wobble although not by much, front side button wobbles more while back side button is kinda firm.

Agreed. Shouldn't have to bandaid a problem when Finalmouse could fix the coating and other small complaints like false weight advertisement. I'd be harsh on a 200 dollar mouse too. Hell, even if they fixed it, and it wasn't 200 bucks I still wouldn't buy one. Never forgot about their scummy FOMO practices.

Those specs simply won't matter for you, they're just there in order to make people think "higher number must be better", just like when companies list the max DPI available.
If I had known sooner I would have tried the beast mini. Now the ulx is shipping and I will try it out. Also no latency test in your review so wait and see I guess

The only thing I know is that when I ordered parts from MechKeys UK I had to pay an insane amount of taxes. I ordered a case and some modding tools for the Wooting and I ended up paying like 130% of the original price.
If only you could have released this before I bought one in August... That's on me for biting the hook on the hype train around it. That said I agree with every point you made, this thing is just not worth the price at all. Also, my left click is almost completely dull and mushy from just around 40 hours of gameplay on it. The Chinese omrons in this are TRASH.

the reason why im going to be using the ULX is because I'm getting it for $120 instead of price as advertised, from a friend who got multiple copies but only plans on using the mini.
I want that ULX Tiger but after buying the Lion and luckily being able to sell it in the aftermarket for what I paid since the QC/Shape wasn't it for me. I have my doubts that Batch 3 revisions will fixt he issues we saw in batch 1.
Oh yeah, the coating is terrible and the buttons on mine grind the same way you explained. Some how I still enjoy the mouse but I wouldn’t be able to sleep to actually recommend the thing to anyone at this price. I can get behind everything you said in this one, good job!

I don't know why but i think with Finalmouse, it's not completely about the mouse itself but also about it being a final mouse. I think everybody kinda wants a Finalmouse sometime. I can't describe it perfectly tho
out of all mice i have bought (15+) this is the only one i regret. mouse wheel is TOTALLY uncontrollable. the coating is also almost unusable without grips. i instantly orderd grips. now my outset ax has arrived and no other mouse has felt as comfortable since my XM1R wired 2 years ago and GPX/GPX2 + Hati Plus
I mean, the price of mice is crazy and I'm not a huge fan of the ultra and super light weights. I prefer good size and shape for my hand. As long as the mouse is under 90 grams, then the shape is what's most important. I have a deathadder v3 pro and it's a perfect fit for my hand which is why I won't buy another mouse. Also, do not feel bad for hating really hard on a product that does not live up to it's price

The new releases are fine and don't suffer from the first run issues that not only the ULX suffered but so did all their first edition mice. Nothing new there. Other than collectors the first runs make no sense to purchase ever. Same thing with all those mice that you're displaying on your mouse pad. The Beast X .. same exact thing, their first run is littered with tons of issues. Personally, my mouse choice is a heavily modded GPX Superlight, so far I have three copies.

BTW .. when I mentioned parroting other reviewers, because the other reviewers were fools and didn't have enough common sense to notice the differences between the small, medium and large sizes and their respective weights. They're quoting small size weight for the medium and that's why the numbers then add up because they can't read!
I don't know if you watched the video, but the only issue I have is the button wobbling. I even said that I don't have any other issues than that, and that I can squeeze the mouse without any squeaking. Thanks for the feedback, though o7

Finalmouse became like apple they are just selling a name at this point. I ordered WLmouse beastX mini, Cheaper and way better than the finalmouse cause i already tried the beastX medium. I dont hate finalmouse, but I dont want to pay 200$+ for such a mouse.

Seriously don't buy this trash. Default fix dpi (i can't set it to 900 dpi), until now there is no 8k polling rate firmware that been update, there is no angle snapping setting, the side mouse near hump will creacking if you squeeze it, the click is wobble, there is no grip tape we can get, etc. For $200 mouse , this is absolutely a GARBAGE!
I'm definitely not a fan of the shape, but shape is purely subjective and should not be taken as criticism when watching a review (unless it's a poor design flaw) The rest is very much objective critique

I ordered WLmouse beastX mini, Cheaper and way better than the finalmouse cause i already tried the beastX medium.
I dont hate finalmouse, but I dont want to pay 200$+ for such a mouse.
finalmouse and the viper mini se are the 2 worst drops this year i think!!!! for the money its not even worth it..viper v2 pro with a pa12 nylon mod feels way better!!! WITH THE SAME TECH!!!

It's a cheap mouse. The shape and build quality is so bad. Side flex awful for a 200$ mouse . I sold mine after 2 days…
Seriously don't buy this trash.
Default fix dpi (i can't set it to 900 dpi), until now there is no 8k polling rate firmware that been update, there is no angle snapping setting, the side mouse near hump will creacking if you squeeze it, the click is wobble, there is no grip tape we can get, etc.
For $200 mouse , this is absolutely a GARBAGE!
