Yep, first sin that popped into my mind was only being able to play as Wrench for like 5 to 10 minutes.

They could have little tweaks like Wrench having more health and maybe doing more damage, the nerdy kid having some additional hacking perks, and whatsherface having a parkour buff or something. The latter two weren't memorable enough for me to remember their names, even though I spent hundreds of hours playing the game.

Unless you find yourself trapped on the 'Wrench Scene Glitch' that forces you to play the same scene for hours unless you figure out how to avoid the glitch lol XD

My biggest thing with this game is how I never actually felt like the guy I was playing wasn't actually killing people, like you expect me to believe this guy would put a bullet in a dude? Nah
@The Melon i gunned people down in cold blood left and right and everybody just acted all happy fun times afterwards, the game plays as though you're doing a non-lethal Dishored run every game
That’s why I never actually equipped any of the weaponry. Only taser and the paintball gun, just for fun. If you actually try play using stealth and not killing anyone, only occasionally using your yo-yo the game actually becomes much better.

I can agree to that 100%. It's kind of the reason why I never went on any rampage killings in Watch_Dogs 1 (unless I'm screwing around). This one I cannot say the same for.

While this game is full of stupid moments, it's worth pointing out that industrial 3D printers are perfectly capable of printing metal objects. Hell if you have the right machine you can even print _food_. You are right when you say they can't print plastic and metal at the same time, however there are companies working on overcoming this limitation so it's just a matter of time.
Apart from that this is a fun video ;-).
And they can't print complex circuits. At least in the video it looked like he pulled a fully functional drone with motors and everything out of that printer.^^
next game idea: make main character gain health/random boost with printing food.
I know that this is a year old post, but someone IRL was able to print a FULLY USABLE Rifle using a 3D Printer. Just like in this game (minus the metal parts, I think).

and so, the legacy continues. Ubisoft is fairly consistent with their laughable writing. But you know what really had me sratching my head? As TotalBiscuit pointed out during e3 2016, Marcus is pretty damn young. Yet he's not only cpable of (supposedly)pretty sophisticated hacking, but also knows how to handle a wide array of weapons as if he was an army veteran. What kind of ridiculous life does a nerd in San Francisco have to know all those things AND be good at parkour on top of that?!

This game is my go to example for people that say "gameplay is all that matters in a game".
Gameplay is definitely the single most important element of a game, but if I legitimately hate playing as the characters in it, or the story is just a complete fucking cringe fest, that will invaribly ruin my experience of the game.
i mean Marcus might be a better protag to same than Aiden (i disagree even if aiden is a self destructive douche with a dry chalk personality at times) but he has a strong backstory and chicago is a much grittier setting than san fran... and all the hipness..)
dear god, i'm glad they dialled the hipness down 50 notches but kept some of it for legion (london was a good choice of a setting..bloodline was my fav of it definitely and there was far more WD1 in it than 2 (an actual mafia gang, a PMC, the bloody rogue MI6 and a blume/techno nutjob)
I ended up maining Aiden (for lethal rampages and the drip) and wrench (non-lethal, utlity, navigation, bcoz wrench) the entire way through. Making mince meat out of albion troops with P9 headshots, going wick mode
Gameplay is shit too, at least on console it is. The car control mechanics in this game are so infuriating makes me feel like I'm driving a bus with even the best luxury cars at every turn

A lot of the sins on this game are dumb and don't make sense, it seems like this guy didn't pay full attention to the story of 1 and 2, like Blume not learning from the mistakes in the first game, they did, CTOS 2.0 is a thing and just like real life, everytime people do something they say is unhackable, like game developers for example, the hackers have hacked it after 5 minutes anyway

Tbh the most worst part of the game was the cyber driver plot but I agree the "references" are little much but fuck me if it's not the reason I like the game.

I did liked the variety for the hacking abilities in this one, and also the voice acting was good. But the story was crap, the script was crap(and cringy as hell), and worst of all, the main character was total crap. The only likeable character for me was Wrench, and Josh at times, but that was it.
The story was all over the place and forgettable but not bad it’s a fun story with fun characters I usually take any chance to shit on Ubisoft but they did good with this game
From a gameplay perspective, everything about Watch Dogs 2 is an improvement over Watch Dogs. But the change in tone killed this entry - I thought the darker, more sinister tone to the first Watch Dogs matched the overall theme of the game faaaaaar better than this dank meme cheesy bullshit. It's like they didn't want to make a game that was overall better so that had to change the ONE good thing about the first game :-/

I like them both in different ways. If I want to play a charismatic leader with a sense of humor I'll go with Marcus however I like Aiden for a Batman / Punisher vibe. If I had seen my niece die in a car accident it would probably take me a while (if I could) to get back to normal. At least Jordi was always joking, despite being treated awfully lol.

I feel like it should be stated that the entire reason that Marcus is so anti-blume is because he was charged with a crime by mistake due to an error in the system where because he had experience, access to an area, and was within the crime age of a hacking crime that happened, he was tagged as the culprit. The issue is that they quickly saw through this, caught the real guy, and due to Blume not wanting this error public but not punish an innocent man, he served community service that he states in game he enjoyed cause he worked with kids during this time of a couple of weeks.

I just liked the coop, me and my friend were god teir and knew every ins and outs of the game, we hacked so many people, we never died in bounty hunt after we understood everything, and never lost a showdown
Actually, there are/were 3D printers that used metal, though I’m not aware of one that used both plastic & metal at the same time.
Actually I can debunk a few. They gave up the botnet idea because someone from inside inv!te was giving them dead accounts so they gave up. And Miranda had to meet in person because new dawn and the FBI were breathing down her neck so she couldn’t talk over the phone, only in person.
Despite all its flaws i still considered it an enjoyable experience. Until i found out you can’t have a wrench mask like bruh what the fuck.

1. How does Wrench's mask know what emotions he's feeling and change the symbols to the ones that he wants displayed?
2. Why is it that when I'm seen by one guard, 500 appear out of no where and proceed to mow me down with assault rifles instead of trying to arrest me, even when I haven't used lethal force yet? And why is the AI so dumb that they get distracted by their phones, even after they've started chasing my drone?
3. 3D printers do not build fully formed, ready to function guns and drones. The parts would still need assembly, and the gun barrels would need to be made out of metal or they would break from the stress.
4. When you paint the golden gate bridge, how does he get the paint supplies up there with him? How does he see what he is painting? How does he paint a precise mural and not a sloppy mess? And how does he not fall over the side?
5. The launch facility located to the south is assembling rockets, but the launching them over the ocean. Typically the assembly building isn't that far away from the launch site, so you don't have to move the upright rocket far. It is in the complete opposite direction from where Marcus and Ray observed the first launch. Also, why is there a visitor center attached to building? That isn't safe at all.
6. When you hack the satellite, you can see a massive fully formed hurricane in the middle of eastern Africa.
7. Why are there quad drones inside Blume's massive server farm?
Raptor302 #1 it is said in an FBI audio file in the game that wrench's mask read his facial expressions and displays the corresponding emoji thing. And Marcus most likely assembles his guns and drones but it would take too much time to watch that so they probably left it out
While yes, the Dedsec 3D printer is a magic printer, there are 3D printers / mini-factories that can print on demand a run of parts in metal, plastic and ceramic, and then (more or less) assemble them into a project on demand. Mostly they're used for making disposable, specialist tools.
There are also printers that will print food that is edible and mostly recognizable. The soda taps that allow you to program your own syrup combo are a simple version.
We're not (really) at the printable gun stage, but we are at the printable gun-part prototype stage. Those prototypes are then used to make a cast for making the metal parts. This process is being used to arm African peoples in danger of being massacred by local warlords.

Say what you want about this game, but Jesus Christ is the music GOD TIER. Art School Wannabe, Forced to Sleep, Crime Spree, Fiona Coyne, Resevoir, Reign, Attak, CrimeWave, Northern Lights, Good Life, Aerosol Can, Leave it Alone, Hard to Read, it’s all just... amazing.

@@mitchell3593 Meh. I beg to differ, but you are entitled to your opinion. I liked the grey theme of watchdogs, even if Aiden was an angsty little bitch for most of the game. WD2 was just a bit too bright and happy for me to really get into it (and the driving was still pretty dodgy).
Ubisoft did the starting the missions at the location because people complained about the first game starting missions on the other side of the city.

FFXV has really good characters tho.
Aside from FF15 and FF7 I would say most FF's had horrible characters. Also, the fucking main cast wants to be so "diverse" but only consists of stereotypical diverse people. Two autists, two black people, a girl... The villains are soyboy extraordinare that actually does yoga and I'm pretty sure he wanted a soy latte in the movie, some fat blob that looks like a feminist and ghetto latinos.

I could never take dedsec seriously in this game not even a decimal point of the respect I had for them in the first game, here they're just a bunch of nerdy meme lords trying to spew out as many pop culture references and memes as they possibly could to sound hip and cool.
