@@sabaducia It's similar to instant coffee but much finer and stronger. You usually find it in the same part of the supermarket as instant coffee though and the container looks very similar. Just look for the packaging to say either 'espresso powder' or 'instant espresso'. It's a very fine powder rather than the granules that instant coffee come in.
@@sabaducia I MISS the peel tabs! They don't seem to have condensed milk with peel tabs here. Haven't tried tubes though - I'll definitely give that a go!
These cupcakes are mind blowingly amazing! Coffee is probably one of my top favorite things/flavors. I love how the coffee comes through with a punch in the buttercream while not being overpoweringly strong. Easily the best Coffee cupcake I have ever eaten, 10/10!

@@ems1277 Yes! The russian buttercream holds really well at room temp. As long as it's made properly and the butter isn't too warm when making the frosting, it will hold. The longest I've kept piped cupcakes with it is about a week and the frosting still looked great! :)
Enjoyed the video, no problem when you tasted it however am I the only one that hoped no one else had to eat those beauties after you put your spatula back into the buttercream after licking it several times 😮

Follow up question: is espresso powder the same as instant coffee/freeze dried coffee?
Further follow up: I buy condensed milk can with peel tabs, or in tubes. So much easier to work with!
